- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom introduced a new layer to the exploration of Hyrule, caves. So today, I'm going to be dwelling among these caves to see if you can beat TotK using ONLY cave gear.

I feel like you should have allowed yourself to complete any of the shrines found in caves. While not much, that could have added a few hearts or stamina.
There's mushrooms in caves. But i suppose why not make everything harder. 😅
What would mushrooms have done? I’m a little confused…

It's just - Extra hearts are treated like a single heart when gloom is concerned, but they _are_ treated as one heart. They could have shielded you from floor gloom. Not sure if damage reduction by 1 for every hit would have helped you, admittedly. I suppose damage on hit would often have been a lot. I suppose it was just seeing you with one heart all the time. 😅

Technically though, the decayed master sword IS in a cave though? 🤔 great video nonetheless!!
The specific rule that I used is that it has to have the cave logo on the map for me to be able to use it. And the room of awakening isn't considered a cave on the map. So...

I noticed at 2:10 you picked up the pura pad, which was not in a cave, making the run invalid..
You can actually do the wall climb clutch to get to demon kings army if you find the right place

@@greatgecks2256 the point of the armor was to add another layer to the challenge, and because it fit the theme of “caves”. It wasn’t for protection, and I know it’s not a cave item. It was a bonus challenge for the video.

Wouldn’t miner set make more sense also is mystic set a cave set it’s not found in a cave plus there’s no cannon mention of it having anything to do with caves…
I personally thought it was perfect for the challenge, since the bubbul frogs you have to kill to get the armor are directly related to caves.
Does the fall damage cancel with melee weapons not work in totk? It’s a lot easier
i feel like key items should be allowed (such as the paraglider), for more fun

By definition of a cave the place you start in is a cave so the destroyed master sword would of counted as useable
The rule I used was it had to have a cave icon on the map for me to use it. The room of awakening did not so, I couldn't grab anything from it.

For the sake of the challenge we said that the only things that counted as caves, were the locations on the map with the cave icon. So no, the depths doesn't count.

You need to stop using clickbait titles, I subscribed today and looked through your videos, 90% of your videos are under 1k views. And of those 90% the majority look like tiktok voice lines. Be genuine with your titles, if it’s a challenge run put the challenge in the title, if it’s a how to, don’t put anything like “the secret zora quest you probably didn’t know about” that’s a huge turn off.
I hope your challenge video aspect takes off, you did a great job on this one :) hope to see more!

Somebody already pointed out the mystic armour set is not from a cave. There are lots of items you can get from chest in a cave.,, but this item is not that, so your video is kind of pointless. Also, the Mystic armour set you lose rupees not hearts but I guess it doesn’t count against the bosses so getting the armour set is moot anyway
@@greatgecks2256 The mystic armour set was added as a bonus layer to the challenge to make things more interesting. It made me actually explore caves to find bubbul gems, which was perfect for the theme. It wasn’t about it being a cave item - which I know, it’s not. I also didn’t get it for protection in any way. It was just for the looks, and to make the video more fun to watch. None of the things I just listed makes the challenge “pointless”. All it did was add an extra layer of difficulty. If I didn’t do it, you’d be watching a video half the length, with a less interesting story.
