Why Couldn't They Change For Me?

During your relationship, you begged them to get help for their drinking and then, after you break up, you learn that they've begun a 12-step program. Or, they told you that they never wanted kids and you see on Facebook that their new partner is expecting.
And it's so hard not to ask, "Why couldn't they change for me?"

Also, a reason could be because you're not happy with them that's why you can't unleash the better you within. Its better to either know someone and be with them who look like you and are compatible with you in so many things or not be with anyone at all.
