13:12 the symbol is supposed to be the mantle of responsibility, but laziness happened. It's what happens when you mirror a texture to create a symmetrical room without paying attention to the detail in the texture.
I do not care that you had to shoot the phantoms because you proved that you CAN kill them with grapple shots. The only thing you did was save a MASSIVE amount of time, but the fact that you proved you’re actually able to destroy them with the grapple shot is incredible. In my opinion, you do not fail here. You managed to prove that you’re able to destroy them with grapple shots, so it _is_ possible to beat the phantoms with it, but I’m sure everyone can agree that it’s better for your health to have destroyed em with rockets.
I think vehicles have a tiny amount of regen so that they can deal with small collisions with terrain and the occasional plasma pistol round without slowly withering away. It’s a good feature imo
I agree it's a good addition to the game, I was a bit snarky in the video cause the tone of the segment called for it, lol. I think it's almost certainly for that because the vehicles that do have it regen to a minimum percentage of like 20-40%.

I know this is late but you're correct about the symbol being in CE however 343 changed it in order to avoid issues since the logo was actually from one of Bungie's games and neither of them match this symbol or the responsibility one. This is likely a third symbol that probably would've been explained in the future if the pve side didn't get completely scrapped.
It gets samey, and I see what you mean for sure, less imposing than Bungie's designs, even if 343 nailed the scale in this game imo, but I really like the designs of the major rooms, the final boss room is gorgeous. The golden accents building through the game are *Chef's Kiss*.
I think you should do a nice or silly challenge, Halo Combat Evolved with only grunt enemies. You can make them any level of their ranks but I think all enemies as grunts would be a fun silly challenge.

They must have changed that, I did have a few wonky hitboxes with the Grapple so there's definitely still some stuff like that that they missed in the game.
Don't count it as a fail as the situation regarding the phantoms because the situation is impossible that way. These vehicles are an exception to the rule because of the way they are. Exceptions are allowed as long as the exception means the possibility of doing the challenge is not humanly possible in a reasonable time.
I may not be able to watch past the sequence due to not playing past that mission yet, but i shall return to this video when i get around to finishing up the game (that also says something about the story; not finishing it within consecutive play sessions)

The final boss of halo infinite: Generic Brute Chieftain God that's so insanely true. He was responsible for like 6 deaths in the boss room, meanwhile I died like once to Harbinger. He's just so goddamn fast and tanky
With regards to 9:14, do you have an SSD? I just recently bought an SSD this year and before Halo Infinite was on it, it would consistently be choppy with my 3070 TI. Since I've transferred it to my SSD, I've had no frame issues at all. Just something to look into because I know I was pulling my hair out trying to get the thing to run well.
I do have an SSD but it is pretty small so it has no games on it (Might start installing games for videos on it before I record though). I guessed that my HDD couldn't handle the open world and recording to the same disk. I'm just annoyed that it tanked the recording framerate before the game's (It was solid 60 the entire time while playing, I only noticed during editing) but whatever, I have learned for future videos! Thanks for the answer though you are definitely right!
Halo Infinite has so much potential, I hope they can bring it around MCC style, that game was awful at launch and now it's pretty damn great. I said this during my stream but I genuinely think that Halo Infinite can be the best Halo game ever. We just need to live in the universe that gets that game, and hopefully before 2025 too.

Honestly, even if they could, the hype is already gone. How many people are actually going to still have any interest in Halo by the time it does get to a good state? Almost everyone I know has uninstalled the game and gone back to Apex Legends, Call of Duty, or whatever shooter they were playing prior to Infinite's release.

Almost certainly that's the cause! Certain damage types doing different damage to different materials has been a thing since the first game obviously, so changing the damage table for that felt a little bit more arbitrary than getting rid of the vehicle health regen which is a new addition to Infinite as far as I know. Didn't feel like doing 6 hours of work for something THAT arbitrary.
@@TipsyPhoenix I mean for those Phantoms specifically because from what the video was saying, the Grapple did at least 0.1 damage each time regardless of it be a boss or a Wraith, etc. But did those Phantoms have a special armour type or damage reduction value for that encounter that no other enemy ever uses?
@@stylesrj Oh! I gotcha. I could check but I doubt it, I think it's a thing for all vehicles because DefendTheHouse in their video that I referenced also mentioned only getting generic Mongooses to blow up with a grapple at 0.001 health so I don't think it's specific to just these Phantoms.
@@TipsyPhoenix The mystery deepens! I'm guessing the Phantoms have some sort of reduction value against environmental impacts... and Mongooses are probably prone to flipping over and taking damage a lot so environmental damage needs a heavy reduction compared to less flippy vehicle?
True! I didn't consider that for some reason because I have it bound to mouse wheel and I did it so sparingly. I could still swap weapons on the ground with the grapple. Thinking back it would make things longer but not necessarily harder. I wouldn't be able to use it for Skimmers unless an Ultra Elite was around so those would be longer. I could still bring Elite-Boss-Two's sword into Escharum's fight so that wouldn't be too bad, and there are two swords in the Harbinger fight so no problem there either. Good catch though, no clue how that slipped my brain until you pointed it out
