13:55 I agree, the variety of flood forms and units opens up alot more possibilities to the flood, definitely helps to make them more menacing LOCAL UNITS! LOCAL UNITS! LOCAL UNITS! ALL UNITS! ALL UNITS! ALL UNITS
I played this game pretty consistently from release up until a couple of years ago when I graduated college. On my Xbox 360 I clocked around 3500 hours before the game stopped working on the console. I appreciate the time you put in to make this and upload. Subscribed.
Always happy to find more challenge run and Halo content. Fond memories of getting the demo on Xbox Live, which only had that 1v1 snow map, but I played the hell out of it the month before release. Gamestop held tournaments across the country to give away a free collector's edition of the game, and it turned out I was the only person at local store who'd ever played before. Needless to say, I didn't pay for my copy of the game, took home a nice t-shirt too. Well, I eventually did pay money for Halo Wars - on Steam recently, to relive the magic. I think I actually prefer this RTS better on PC, there's a shock, but the simple fact they tried to design from the ground up for consoles is admirable.
Expect more Halo content in the future! That's an awesome story! I enjoy listening to gamers various memorable moments. The snow map brings back some serious nostalgia. Nice! That must be fun going through again. Yeah agreed, was a bit clunky, but a noble effort. I have actually never played Halo Wars on the PC and was thinking about getting it since I heard of some interesting flood mods. Is that something worth getting? Hope to see you around the channel.
Thanks! The port is very well-made and I recommend it, yeah. I've put about thirty hours into it, knocking over the campaign on Legendary and the adaptive top-level AI mostly... using Banshee-based cheeses, but hey that's still skillful... right... haha...
After hearing the intro i physically cringed thinking about the timed rescue flood mission. Just for myself to check back l8r imma guess the last mission, the timed flood mission, and the super scarab mission were probably the most infuriating with this ruleset
What Difficulty did you play on? I personally could beat it with Infantry Only because well, I Played StarCraft so Resource Management was Easy. Build as many Bases as Possible, but make the others Resouce Bases and you'll be Swimming in Resources and will be able to Pump out as much Infantry as Possible and if the Population Allows.
I played on Legendary difficult, which is the hardest. At 5:51 I paused, and it can be briefly seen at the top right hand of the screen. While certain missions were simple, a majority were tough and required a few (or more) restarts. If you are interested in watching more, I posted the full streams on the VODs channel. Thanks for watching!
so is infantry practically useless in this game? Havent played halo wars and my only rts experience is from DoW and RoN where infantry is your bread and butter
Technically no but he was playing on the hardest difficulty which drastically changes damage values and ai making enemies melt his units and the game has a rock/paper/scissors approach to the unit types with infantry having a disadvantage against ground vehicles. Not to mention their speed isn't the greatest compared to vehicles.

21:28 That Spartan cutscene was clean
Banger of a vid bruh
I always run infantry I love them. Though granted for the missions where non-infantry units are given I do use them
Hi jigsaw here i took this to a new level and did every campaign and skirmish maps

Great game and RTS
Agreed. One of my favorites!
For the final mission, why didn't you just drop the scarab? That is something you can do in the mission.
I did not think about doing that, next run I will since that is really helpful. Thanks for watching and hope to see you around. Cheers!
to answer the question tho, is like asking can a warframe kill 90000000000 grineers
LOCAL UNITS. ALL UNITS.
you might want to increase the output on your mic

I stopped at the point you said using exploits and glitches allowed
Funny enough, throughout the video, I'm not sure I saw *any* major bugs or glitches, like no skipping levels or whatever.
