Just finished our laminate countertop with your carrera marble kit. It turned out awesome!!! And you are right about the ease of use. This was our first time using epoxy but your videos helped to make it successful. Thanks

This may be my favorite design yet! I'm now convinced that I definitely need to do a rock edge to my countertops as well. This actually looks like a uniquely organic stone that would cost a FORTUNE to buy if it were. Thank you for sharing all of your videos with us. I found your TH-cam channel after realizing how expensive (10K) the quartz countertops (just for stones, no labor included) that I priced to update my kitchen. I'll save SEVERAL thousand dollars when I'm ready, and am confident that I can do the entire project myself, with the help of a few other people that are artists/tradesmen to make the process even faster!
I loved the pour and both the high/low sheen. The high sheen was very intense and beautiful. The low sheen looked like carmel and was gorgeous! So winner/winner!!! If it were in my kitchen I'd prefer the low sheen, but in my bathroom or my desk in the office I'd prefer the high sheen. I'm going to do my office desk top first and the matching tables. A end table and a high boy table for behind the couch. I think it'll be gorgeous. My kitchen is going to be done in a white granite look with greys and a very small touch of black. I learned about the process from Soap and Clay (a handmade soap business), Chantine is promoting you on her channel, you should say Hi to her. They are redoing their whole house and they are using your techniques. She's done her bathrooms, soap studio, pontoon so far. Their biggest project is coming up, the kitchen! @@jeaninemorgan9118 Don't be too scared. Buy a gallon to use for test panels. Do about a dozen test panels with 1/4 inch MDF 12 inch squares before committing to your counters. I am almost ready to pour my counters after having tried powders, metallic/hammered/flat/glossy spray-paints, dyes, tilting, tourch-moving/blowing, and layering. I haven't done the alcohol spray yet as I don't want the granite blotchy look. You won't know if you want powders or paints or both until you see it in action and how they merge and mix together. And boy does it move around after you pour. Come back in an hour to a completely different look. A big blob of white turns into a skinny feathered vein, for example if the panel is not perfectly level. It is rather fun.

I like your Frankenstein mix to get an effect. Yes it is a bit busy, but it definitely works! I owned a concrete construction company. Everyone had seen stamped concrete where you use coloured powdered release agent to give color contrast. But I experimented with dashing on more than 1 color release (even using small amounts of the more expensive metallics). It gave me the ability to ‘match’ the existing house stone. I’d also do a cost saving trick. A complete coloured concrete drive loses the ‘effect’. But forming the drive so that the bulk of the drive is plain natural crete, but then to use coloured crete to create veins. Then to use more than 1 color of release on the coloured stamped veins, provides a definite eye catching POP. (Added bonus- breaking it into 2 pours removes stress 😉)

Beautiful project! You can hear the passion in his voice. while the glossy finish was gorgeous, I think the matte finish emulated stone more naturally and I could see why the homeowners preferred that for this project.
From Nampa, Id. Loved the exotic pour ,liked the added veins and the gloss finish. To me gloss always makes any pattern pop. Thank you so much for doing what you do.
I am a youtube junky and watch everything from car repair, sailing the world, horse training to home improvement. Your videos are as good as they get for projects. Soooo...my preference was the shiny surface but I clearly heard that the top coat product was the ultimate barrier. Is the shiny epoxy going to take on stains or fading more? I will take your advice and finish I small table top but my 27 yr old tile counters are next. Thanks for the crazy quantity of videos showing various colors and styles. And yes i need a backsplash tile video.
I've watched a few videos after just discovering you this week. I'm now leaning toward doing this to my existing laminate countertops. I'm also eventually going to add a large island and want to match. It's going to be a while because I need to be able to buy the new base cabinets first. I'm wondering if I should try to remove the countertops to do the stone coat in my garage. Hoping I can remove them without damaging. So many things to decide, but I have time! Btw, I'm a 73 year old female and don't have a lot of confidence in doing it myself. Could possibly get help from my son! Such a good alternative to granite, marble or quartz which really isn't in my budget! Thank you for all these videos.

Absolutely beautiful! I don't care for the rough edges but thats just my preference.
Love your tutorials I think I be watched 10 or 15 but watch most on tv I’m waiting to order a one or 2 gallon kit but bought tools and prepping my tile countertops and fix mistakes I made prior to watching your videos
Dragging feathers through it can also give natural fault lines exactly where you want them!🤗
That's an amazing idea Nancy! We would love to see your designs! -Nathan
@@StoneCoatCountertops that's a technique used in faux painting to create marbling veins when you want to imitate honed marble. I've done a green one and black one for fireplaces.
Beautiful project! You can hear the passion in his voice.
while the glossy finish was gorgeous, I think the matte finish emulated stone more naturally and I could see why the homeowners preferred that for this project.
Before....the high gloss looks much richer.
From Nampa, Id. Loved the exotic pour ,liked the added veins and the gloss finish. To me gloss always makes any pattern pop. Thank you so much for doing what you do.
Watching him sand without a vacuum made my nose stuffy🤧
But there was a vacuum attached.
Having runs as “texture” on the sides is horrific
I agree, it looks like obvious drips and not a “rock face edge”. But I like the rest
Both sheen levels are nice and have there own places. I also think adding veins in after the initial pour looks great
I want to do my laminate countertops so bad. I will just have to wait until I'm not pregnant.
I think I will try to make school desk for my little sister using his technique, thank you for the education.
Right on Kaleb, You Got This! Please give our project support a call if you have any questions, we can not wait to see your work.
I'M IN LOVE WITH ALL OF YOUR VIDEOS... YOUR ENERGY AND PASSION FOR YOUR WORK SHINES THRU IN EACH ONE THAT I HAVE SEEN IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND I'VE SEEN ALOT!!!! GREAT JOB GUYS! I REALLY DO FEEL LIKE, "I GOT THIS!!!!" S.S.
I love both the high & low sheen, it would b hard 4 me 2 choose which I'd want in my kitchen. Probably the low sheen 2 keep glare 2 a minimum but please do show us the tile back splash tutorial!
Ok, I gotta say, using bonds to create the rough stone face look is genius!
I saw the thumbnail and watched the video just to see the rough stone face.
This reminds me of pouring paint on a canvas! I'd love to do this on my warn out granite kitchen counter.
Yes, please show how to create backsplash. Thank you, your products are gorgeous.
I love the gloss finish and would love to see the backsplash tile tutorial. Thank you for the tutorials.😀
Amazing results.. Wish I had an endless supply and space to create.
I like the stone edge. It’s the detail the disguises the laminate.
I like the high gloss look. Both are beautiful.
So, this is what they meant about "Love at first sight" 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰😍 This was awesome brain fuel. This entire video start to finish was nicely made.
So glad to hear it my friend! Do you have any projects coming up?
Did mine tonight,,I warmed the two part in a warm bath tub seem to flow nice
We would love to see how it turned out! Keep rockin it John🙌
This looks amazing. My husband and I are going to do our counters and I was wanting more browns. Our house has alot of wood and need the counters to match. What would you suggest?
There are many different combinations you can use to match your surroundings! If you give us a call we can help you customize a kit that is right for you! -Nathan
@@StoneCoatCountertops I will get with my husband and then give you guys a call. Thanks
Definitely looks better with the added veins. Thank you!
Your work gets better and better over the years! Bravo
Will start remodeling my kitchen in a few weeks. Definitely ordering from Stone Coat. The hardest part will be deciding my colors. How long does it take for orders to come in?
I'm more of a low sheen kinda guy. But I'll admit, both the high gloss and low sheen looked great to me. It's a hard choice on this one. Great job, Guys!
I really like the high gloss look, however, everything you do is wonderful. thank you so much....
