This pronunciation change was made after I was corrected MANY times for mispronouncing Floor's name in my past Floor videos! Hmm... It is always my intention to attempt to honor the culture and language of the artist I am reacting to. I am learning and growing as I make each video, and direct you to my bio in the description box where I outline EXACTLY how I show up here for you. With that, I thank you for your continued patience with these "Floor-mas" videos as I will continue to mispronounce her name until I can make another batch back to the 'dumb American' pronunciation of Floor like surface we walk upon. Cheers.
I do not get it. It is hard to pronounce foreign words. Especially when you have never used them or rarely use them. When you are born your language begins right away from what you hear. The way you use your tongue, lips, and mouth for the pronunciation is also what you learn when you are growing up. So what appears easy to you is not that easy from another country. Give people time to learn a name. They do not need to read fifty comments each time. Lets just enjoy what we are listening to and take in the information that is given to us. Take care ............ :-)
The only thing you do with Floor is let her wash over you. She's a vocal tsunami. You cannot get out of the way. You just have to brace yourself for the aural onslaught. She just posted that Nightwish's new live album - "Decades - Live in Buenos Aires" is #1 in the Finnish album charts. It's a stunning concert - they were on top form, and the audience were their backing vocalists. They went right back to the earliest songs in the back catalogue, when Tarja was with them.
Well... "Floor" is basically pronounced the way it looks in English. Don't worry about it. Also, if you should try to pronounce "Tuomas", just remember that a) Finnish is one of the three most difficult languages on the planet (Basque is another, the third I don't remember....) and b) in Finnish, "U" is pronounced as the "o" in "to" and "O" is pronounced as the "o" in "or". So basically To-o(r without the "r")-mas. Oh, I'm not sure I made any sense at all.... :-) :-)
Maybe an explanation is needed why I reacted my way. We, as a nation, accept various ways people different pronounce names, we tend to the same thing. The big 'however' in this the fact the English speaking world almost NEVER even make an effort to approximate the sounds composing the word. And the name Floor has to be the easiest name to get it right. It isn't like trying to pronounce Scheveningen... three diphtongues in that word alone. The second thing of my dutchness is bluntly stating a fact, which was right and all know it. This is what it is and no-one can change that. I also made a suggestion how to avoid the same mistake again. I dearly love my native language and will do anything to prevent those mistakes. I can get by in English, and generally make various spelling mistakes, what I won't do is re-read everything I write. It doesn't help while writing to constantly look over what I did write before. What I will do is published it, maybe edit it slightly (when I forgot a key word). Ah well, how Dutch can you get? 😉
beth you are a floor jansen fan you react to the poet and the pendulum at wembley but i find the version from nightwish the poet and the pendulum (live at teatro metropolitan in mexico city 2015 better great sound from nightwish team

In the music world around Floor Jansen you have just experienced what we call a Floorgasm. Another great descriptive breakdown of this amazing gift to mankind.
Floor can put so much emotion in anything she sings. She can lift you up to great highs or break you down and make you feel small and vulnerable with just her voice. That's a talent not many singers have.
Yeah. This show put a spotlight on her abilities. While some of the performers had a amazing song here and there in the show, Floor killed it every week.
Your fan-girl reactions are too fun to watch! :) Yay to being in the moment and to genuine merit-based adoration! Floor is SO talented, and is such a lovely person besides (from everything I'd seen... I don't know her personally), that it is not difficult at all to see why you'd be so utterly gaga over her. Who would not be? On point. Marvelously musical. Perfectly interpreting and making this her own. Expressive. Pitch perfect. Delightful. What more can one ask for? Well, apparently a delicious fan-gurl response from you, as you watch it ... nerve ending abuzz ... and face melting in awe and wonder and joy. FUN! :) Excellent reaction, Christi! :)
Thanks to the age of digital media, this performance will be enjoyed by people who will be born long after we are gone. I can imagine the following centuries, she will still be listened to. Much like we still listen to classical.
Floor used the word girl both times because she is singing this for Emma, the young blond girl on the couch. Floor discussed how to approach this song with the band and they decided to go small. Floor preferred this because she never wants to copy or imitate the original singer. This song was done so delicately and beautiful that it takes ones breath away! Right after this performance this version of the song went to #1 on the ITunes charts in the Netherlands. After season 12 of this show ended, Floor booked 10 solo performances around the Netherlands for this January. All 10 sold out in 24 hours. On top of that Nightwish added a 2nd night at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam for their upcoming tour in 2020. Both shows are already sold out as well, a year ahead of time! I think Floor's plan to get some recognition for herself and Nightwish in the Netherlands worked to perfection! Great reaction video beautiful lady. Be well!
How entertaining is it to hear someone who has put in the training and work and paid their dues take a beautiful song and interpret it in a gorgeous way. The band was absolutely on point, just premium entertainment.
She did "girl" twice because she was singing for Emma :) My favorite part of the song is the buildup to the second big part, she starts her tone humming and builds it up slowly, i dont think i've ever heard such a beautiful transition before. (and tone, omg it sounds so perfect) its, for a lack of words, Angelic. I love the entire rendition of the song, but that part.. that is perfection to me, such a amazing tone... Ty for the upload :D
She said both times "Tell me something girl" because she was singing to Emma Heesters, the blond girl sitting on the couch..!! Awesome reaction, thank you !!
This is the best version of the song Shallow ever!! And btw, her name is Floor like the Floor you walk on you keep calling her Fleur, (no Offence) loved your reaction
Hello Christi, thank you for this wonderful reaction - I thought this performance would knock you over. But - and I think this is Floor's secret - always be ready to get involved with something new - never stand still - stagnation is regression. She is simply always ready to push her limits and to become better and better through new experiences. And that she can always convince with her quality and emotionality is in my eyes only an expression of her professionalism. In this show she blew up the stage week after week with her performances - I knew she was good - but what she delivered there made me doubt my mind. She is - in my opinion - one of the best singers in the world at the moment. At the moment, I can't think of one that can hold a candle to her (across genres). If we don't see anything more of you in the next 2 weeks, I wish you and your family a blessed and peaceful Christmas. Come healthy into the new year - I'm already looking forward to the next video from you.
I never seen you so passionate (nervous?) and even emotional in this way...It's beautiful to see this, together with you being professional as always and so on spot with the comments. (And Ruben will love that he finally got called "a grown man" 🙃) You can pronounce her name like the floor you walk on btw. She does have a flower tattoo on her hand now I believe, so Fleur would be a nice one too..
Beautifull performance from Floor. The reverse performance, Emma Heesters singing for Floor is also brilliant. With the song Strong she brought Floor to tears.Thnx for this reaction!
It does not matter what Floor sings, I melt, my soul feels full filled. We are so blessed to see, hear and experience such an amazing artist giving us gift.
I have to say it in the middle of me listening to your reaction. I love you for how emotional you get. You are a VOCAL TEACHER, and you are still able to lose control. That is so beautiful to watch. You are beautiful:D
I just love Jan's frozen look in the middle of the song and Ruben's airblow in the end. When I heard this INTIMATE version for the first time, it was the first time this song brought tears to my eyes. Greetings from the dark Helsinki, Finland! No snow and no sun seen today when sun was supposed to be above the horizon for less than six hours.
Please do her rendition of "winner". That was actually my favourite performance of hers on beste zangers . I think that she showed more of her vocal colours on that song. Shallow was probably my second favorite.
Not to mention ripped Tim apart with it. That song means a lot to him and it was something of an emotional wringer for him (much like the effect that Emma had on Floor, with the cover of Stronger)
I am so proud of you Floor. You are the purest person I know and the most talented singer I ever known. You were a bright light in our class in music academy and I will always love you. What you can do with ANY song, classical, pop, metal...it is inhumanly good. Enjoy the podium sweety, you are a powerhouse
LOL, I hear you, I sent my daughter a message her 73 year old mother is a Metal Head. Who knew, I had no idea, with the duo version of Shallow. You will love it too.
She was awesome in this series! Mama is also pretty emotional & Winner is great especially near the end. Both from the same Beste Zangers 2019 series ❤️
When you are going to follow Floor further on this show, please don't forget her Nightwish songs. You reacted to Ghost Love Score and The Poet and the Pendulum, I think you would love hearing The Greatest Show on Earth at Tampere, Finland
This is quite possibly the best reaction video on the internet. ... No. No, I take that back. This *IS* the best reaction video on the internet. Really appreciate and love your commentary and guidance through all of your thoughts on the Floor Phenomenon! :)
@@TheVoiceLoveCo You said you were planning to check out all of Floor's videos from this TV show. If so I'd like to offer a little suggestion to make your viewing of them just a little bit more fun for you! These other six singers on the show did not previously know Floor and had no idea what to expect. (except for Henk and Tim who knew her a little bit) Their expectation seemed like it was, "Oh look a little metal girl. How cute. What's she gonna do, growl for us?" And then she opened her mouth! And their world changed! Because of this it is most fun to watch the episodes in the actual order that they aired. That way you get to see the others' reactions and stunned facial expressions as they unfolded from first to last! It's a hoot to watch them in order! :) The order of airing was: 1. Vilja Lied (aria from the operetta Merry Widow, sung in German); 2. MaMa (heartfelt Dutch folk song, sung in Dutch); 3. Que Se Siente (a Caribbean salsa type upbeat song rendered with a unique metal flavor, sung in Spanish) !!! Is there any language this woman doesn't speak? 4. About Love, I Don't Know A Thing (a heart wrenching and sad country-like ballad, translated from original Dutch into English by Floor and her sister Irene); 5. This version of Shallow you have just seen; 6. Winner (an uplifting rock style song written by Tim Akkerman for his brother who was born with spina bifida and has been in a wheelchair his whole life---sad but triumphant! Sure to bring a tear to your eye, but a tear of joy!) 7. Duet version of Shallow sung with Tim Akkerman as the male part. 8. And finally Phantom of the Opera with Henk Poort which you have already seen. Henk likes Floor so much he asked to appear on stage with Nightwish as a guest singer to do this song at their Amsterdam venue in November 2020. Rumor is that is in fact going to happen! Hope you enjoy these! :)
Ken Tamplin commented "I never feel like she's overdoing it to where I get lost in her calisthenics of singing. I feel like, you know, she's bringing me along for the ride at every turn and she's not overdoing it at all. She's really staying in the moment of the song, which is hard to do. It's hard to show off and not look like you're showing off basically.". If she is showing off, she still got me. :-)
"im fangirling hard" Omg i love watching someone fangasm as hard as I do! XXX You are beautiful and loved my darling xxxx Edit: P.s. amazing edit, darling, using examples with samples to illustrate your points. It was a superb reaction and still educational as well as a fangirl gush!!😘🥰 One last point. Floor is seated singing this.
Oh, I hope she takes a look at that one! Floor seems to almost fully transform herself from song to song to embody and deliver the message - and yet she's somehow still always herself. It's unbelievable!
I know Floor struggled with burnout and was going through some rough times prior to joining Nightwish. I don't know if that's why she seems to connect so deeply to this song, but whatever the reason this is a truly special performance...
I had the same reaction as you had now after listening this song. All my thoughts were gone, and found myself asking this "silly" questions, "what" and "why". And yes, I experienced some tears.. It was a spiritual experience in some way, a internal elevation, triggered by her singing, and you felt the same, as I saw.. New subscriber here, waiting for your next reactions. All the best from RO.
Thanks for another great reaction. Floor is just perfection incarnate. All her performances from this show were just brilliant. There's also still lots of great Nightwish performances to check out including the recently released concert "Decades - Live in Buenos Aires". Also the 3rd Epic Nightwish song "The Greatest Show On Earth" Live from Tampere 2015. Look forward to more of your Floor reactions!
Just listening to you talking about that "make you or break you moment", and I wanna say that the hardest thing an artist can do is acknowledging perfection from a fellow artist and carry on. Your voice is beautiful and your generosity and positive mentality are a source of inspiration to young ppl all around. For myself, its beautiful to see videos through your eyes, and listening to music through your ears! Keep them coming and thank you!
I so love your affection for music and being able to relate to us how it makes you feel in your soul. We also feel Floor is a super star and will go down in history as one of the top female vocalists in the world. Keep up the fantastic videos, Merry Christmas and God bless.
At the end you were just speechless! Yea this is Floor and you've been floored 😁 to continue this journey even better, check out Sancta Terra by Epica feat Floor Jansen at Retrospect live. That will be stunning vocal experience . Thank you 🖤🤘🤘
That was a great reaction and analysis especially with the video clips to drive your points home, very well done. Floor stunned even her most ardent fans with her performances on this show this, the songs Winner and I Don't Know a Thing About Love were all way out of her usual lane but man she just glided over (no signals either) and did an amazing job. This ended up being a big hit on Dutch I-Tunes and really got her homeland to finally see what a gem they truly had. I am so glad for her because getting some acclaim from her homeland where she was not very well known at all except for being the 'metal chick with the tattoos" when this program started to being the most versatile vocalist on the show when it was over. You knew we were all in for some ride when she led the opening of the new season with the German aria to Henk, the stunned faces of the other singers was priceless. Here again Floor wanted to prove she can sing main stream hits if she wants to and the musical arrangement here was not with the metal over tones at all so it really was a surprise to everyone the first time they heard it.
She was singing it to Emma as fully for her so yes, she changed the song to reflect her intentions, and a sort of warning to avoid the burnout she suffered etc. She socked it to them with her first song, for Henk where she pointed out "we made a few changes". Vila Lied from The Merry Widow. Floor does make Rubin cry (and, well most breathing beings) when she covers his song, written when he was 16 and his parents divorced. She and her sister Irene translated it to English, and as Rubin like country, sings it a bit like Reba or Linda Ronstadt. From the same show, Henk does full country with Your Man. Also Emma covers Floor's old song Strong, about her mother. Made Floor cry (yeah, me too). Emma has those million followers plus and a record deal here in the US for good reason. Floor also managed to get Tim to cry when she covered his Winner, and he kidded her she ruined his album title Lions Don't Cry. First words out his mouth were Dammit Floor. She and Tim also redo this as Tim's duet in the last show. Check out Rolf's cover of Hotel California, too. Even taking Floor out of the picture, this was a very good series of shows.
I follow Floor from 2002 and all i want to say is that I never seen a singer whith such a talent and still working every day to practice and even become a better storyteller and singer. So in a short way, I fully understand you"re fangirling here ;-)
Dear Christi I love your reactions on Beste Zangers. They are so good and just to me because I am Dutch. Please react also to Ruben Annink with dance alone sang for Floor and to The Fight Goes On from Floor song for Warchild
She said "girl" both times because she's singing to Emma, who did a cover of this song on TH-cam. She captured the hearts of the Netherlands in this show so firmly, both Nightwish dates in the Netherlands sold out. They're still the only two shows sold out so far.👍
Normally it is enough just to watch original video and just enjoy it, cry, feel it not just to listen it. BUT to watch these videos with You is for me double gift. To see You hardly keep it together brings to this more emotions and beautiful feelings. Tears are not a shame. Emotional tears means that we are still humans. Your reactions and emotions are "creme d' la creme" on this. Thank You for beautiful moments.
After a long week at work, this is just what I needed. Thank you for helping to bring Floor's amazing talent to others! You are such a positive influence for aspiring singers and I love that your appreciation for vocal talent goes beyond a specific genre. Your ability to focus on the innate technical (and heart-filled!) aspects of a vocalist's abilities is truly refreshing. You are as much a gift to us as the amazing Ms. Jansen!
I'm glad it's not just me then, totally obsessed with Floor Jansen right now, the voice of an angel, her craft so perfectly sculptured she evokes such emotion every time I hear any of her floor-less performances. I'm now hooked on watching peoples first-time reactions to her & watching the surprise, joy & pleasure of others. Loving your react videos thus far, have to work through your back catalogue. What a smile!! Much Love, peace & respect.
She changed both verses because she was singing this to Emma, the girl in red dress. In that episode, Floor said that she felt uncomfortable to approach a pop song. So the band and her decided to make it a soft ballad, to keep it tender so she can express what she wanted. She nailed it of course.
You're absolutely one of my favorite reactors, girl! I highly recommend I Don't Know a Thing About Love from the same show, as many others have requested! You'll LOVE it!
She changed the wording to girl because she was singing the song for Emma Heesters. The lady in the red dress. You HAVE to do Floor singing Winner as well. It's an even better performance. Just about everything from the show is amazing. I also suggest Emma Heesters singing Strong. A song Floor wrote. It's a song Floor wrote about her Mother's daily fight with rheumatism. She makes Floor cry. Also have you reacted to Epica - Sancta Terra (feat floor jansen) live retrospect show Full on orchestra with a choir as back up. It will blow your mind. th-cam.com/video/cx22Yuj2nzg/w-d-xo.html Also from the same concert check out Epica - Stabat Mater Dolorosa with Floor Jansen live retrospect show. Simone SImons and Floor sing this duet with the orchestra. th-cam.com/video/nhtOORYTGx8/w-d-xo.html
@@p8triotmode No, she really meant to sing 'girl'. She sung it especially for Emma. There's a deeper meaning there, that's why she shook her head. The song meant something for Emma.
@@p8triotmode oh really? Then why she does the same thing in most duet song where there is man part but she is singing it alone? She has sang Phantom of Opera in rehearsals as well and even there she did Henk's or who ever was suppose to sing that part with her. Just saying Mr.Knowitall.
There is another variable in her singing arsenal I'm not sure you have seen yet. Nightwish live version "Yours is an empty hope" if you want to see her growl like a beast.🤗
Defnitely one of my favorite reactions on youtube! Watched it at least half a dozen times already :-) In case you are wondering about the other ones: Check out Metal Mana "Romanticide", Mr. Rock n Roll "Ghost Love Score" and Rebecca "Phantom of the Opera" with Floor and Henk. Just another info bit: Floor contemplated "going full metal princess" on the song but the band suggested to keep it soft and she trusted them enough to do it that way. Worked out pretty well I'd say and once more underlines the sheer professionalism and talent of the Marcel Fisser Band!
Al of the songs in that show were amasing! The band also kills iT every time. Floor singing Que se siente. From and for Rolf Sanchez. Also mindblowing, but thenagain every time....
Singing softly is so much tougher than most people know! I saw an interview with Floor where she said she was really nervous before this entire show because she’d never done some of the styles. I think she knocked it dead 😁 If you want a guaranteed tear jerker of a Nightwish song that they can’t get through without crying themselves, check out Our Decades in the Sun on the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful 😉 It’s a gorgeous tribute to their parents 😎
Tim's delivery reminds me a lot of Springsteen in delivery. His cover of Nemo could well have fitted on a mid-90s Springsteen album (the Boss has something of an eclectic taste, as illustrated by his really rather good version of Royals by Lorde live)
Thank you for this reaction for a awesome song in this Cover from Floor, you and your family and friends Merry Christmas, greetings from northern germany
She's just make many metal head melt down...her voice like an Angel...Thank you so much coach for reaction this song...Please react "Ave Maria" Marko n' Floor...Merry Christmas dear coach

Floor under the Christmas tree, I'm in. She is the angel of music.
I never seen you so passionate (nervous?) and even emotional in this way...It's beautiful to see this, together with you being professional as always and so on spot with the comments. (And Ruben will love that he finally got called "a grown man" 🙃)
You can pronounce her name like the floor you walk on btw. She does have a flower tattoo on her hand now I believe, so Fleur would be a nice one too..
She’s has strong feelings and it shows lovely soul
Wow, do I LOVE to hear and see you fangirling about Floor!
I feel you!!!! ❤🖤
So many goosebumps while listening to this. Floor is amazing.
The queen. I can't wait for your reactions to her other songs on this show.
She did a few days ago
she sings the song for emma...
that's why she sings girl twice... great reaction.. greatings from the netherlans
I've listened this dozens of times because . . . duh. I'm a grown man and she still makes me cry at least 2 out of 3 times.
I have to cry, every single time ... I just love when she sings. Its so pure.
good job, respectful, and insightful, and loving, yes, loving.
She was awesome in this series! Mama is also pretty emotional & Winner is great especially near the end. Both from the same Beste Zangers 2019 series ❤️
Shallow is my favorite from Floor from Beste Zangers. So original and just tearing into your soul....
When you are going to follow Floor further on this show, please don't forget her Nightwish songs. You reacted to Ghost Love Score and The Poet and the Pendulum, I think you would love hearing The Greatest Show on Earth at Tampere, Finland
Or Marko singing Islander or While Your Lips Are Still Red.
Love Floor? Want to be even MORE impressed? Do all of her songs from this show. All different. All amazing.
Always tiers in my eyes hearing this ❤️
This is quite possibly the best reaction video on the internet. ... No. No, I take that back. This *IS* the best reaction video on the internet. Really appreciate and love your commentary and guidance through all of your thoughts on the Floor Phenomenon! :)
Wow, thank you! That means a lot. So appreciate you being part of the community and taking time to leave this kind comment. Thank you!💖
@@TheVoiceLoveCo You said you were planning to check out all of Floor's videos from this TV show. :) The order of airing was:
1. Vilja Lied (aria from the operetta Merry Widow, sung in German);
2. MaMa (heartfelt Dutch folk song, sung in Dutch);
3. Que Se Siente (a Caribbean salsa type upbeat song rendered with a unique metal flavor, sung in Spanish) !!! Is there any language this woman doesn't speak?
4. About Love, I Don't Know A Thing (a heart wrenching and sad country-like ballad, translated from original Dutch into English by Floor and her sister Irene);
5. This version of Shallow you have just seen;
6. Winner (an uplifting rock style song written by Tim Akkerman for his brother who was born with spina bifida and has been in a wheelchair his whole life---sad but triumphant! Sure to bring a tear to your eye, but a tear of joy!)
"im fangirling hard"
Omg i love watching someone fangasm as hard as I do! XXX
You are beautiful and loved my darling xxxx
Edit:
P.s. amazing edit, darling, using examples with samples to illustrate your points. It was a superb reaction and still educational as well as a fangirl gush!!😘🥰
One last point.
Floor is seated singing this.
You want to hear floor sing softly, listen to her rendition of "about love, I don't know a thing". That is also on the same show.
Oh, I hope she takes a look at that one! Floor seems to almost fully transform herself from song to song to embody and deliver the message - and yet she's somehow still always herself. It's unbelievable!
pls!!!! DO IT!!! That song always makes me cry everytime i hear it hahaha
Yes this! That song gets me every time it's pure perfection. 😍
The right search title, "Floor Jansen - I don't know a thing about love | Beste Zangers 2019".
@@Marcp6819 read it right its say About love i don,t know a thing
I know Floor struggled with burnout and was going through some rough times prior to joining Nightwish. I don't know if that's why she seems to connect so deeply to this song, but whatever the reason this is a truly special performance...
Lol what song does she not connect deeply with?
Thanks this was one of my favourite reactions, I could listen to Floor sing all day. She can sing literally any song in any style she wishes 😍🤘
Welcome, Gabriel. Honored to have you here. 👏
Watching - again - always taken by her total command of voice. Floor is amazing, unique, a gift.
Christie, thank you so much! Nothing else to say, just enjoying and experiencing, thank you for your honest reaction. Best greetings from Germany!
Floor just versatile and extraordinary singer. She always bring a soul to the song and her interpretation always on point 👌
.... insanely... incredibly beautiful and awsome!!!❤️❤️❤️ Didn't know her before seen her her on your channel ☺️👍
The best singer on the planet..the Queen Floor Jansen..Nightwish Army🔥🤘
I so love your affection for music and being able to relate to us how it makes you feel in your soul. We also feel Floor is a super star and will go down in history as one of the top female vocalists in the world. Keep up the fantastic videos, Merry Christmas and God bless.
Hallelujah and Amen,Your Reaction to this Wonderful Floor makes my Day GREAT😀Thank You
The best rendition of "shallow" i've ever heard..
She's really good, she know her voice & she's got total control
At the end you were just speechless! Yea this is Floor and you've been floored 😁 to continue this journey even better, check out Sancta Terra by Epica feat Floor Jansen at Retrospect live. That will be stunning vocal experience . Thank you 🖤🤘🤘
Great reaction. Floor's version to this song was definitely a pure gold.
"Full metal princess", love that :)
What a great analysis, you are amazing. Floor, OMG t.t So sweet and emotive voice!!!
Great reaction. What I love about floor the most.. floor doesn't just sing a song, she becomes every part of the song. Musically and emotionally ❤️
Wow, your comment f.....d up all other comments.
It's the history of the show.
You Sir, are my hero.
She pretty much made everyone on that show cry ....me included ..floor has the voice of a Goddess ..
I follow Floor from 2002 and all i want to say is that I never seen a singer whith such a talent and still working every day to practice and even become a better storyteller and singer. So in a short way, I fully understand you"re fangirling here ;-)
she sang this again as a duet with Tim in the final episode.
have to hear the duet..
@Manveru31 LOL, that's funny and even true also. Floor did sing softer to not oversing him and still she did.
@@jhcfight i still think the songs better as a duet.
Yeah but it wasn't great because Tim absolutely cannot hang with Floor and it's evident to anyone who listens.
And there she didn't hold back at all, it's full power.
To quote another comment on a different reaction channel: "Shallow just became deep (emotionally)".
Dear Christi
I love your reactions on Beste Zangers. They are so good and just to me because I am Dutch.
Please react also to Ruben Annink with dance alone sang for Floor and to The Fight Goes On from Floor song for Warchild
That song for Warchild is so beautiful, it needs a reaction to.
She said "girl" both times because she's singing to Emma, who did a cover of this song on TH-cam. She captured the hearts of the Netherlands in this show so firmly, both Nightwish dates in the Netherlands sold out. They're still the only two shows sold out so far.👍
I see Floor and I click like. We are from the same village. She is the best Dutch female vocalist.
Jansen!
Great true reaction. Floor is a gift to this world.
She nailed it of course.
she sang it to young Emma as a nursery song. just how you want to comfort your kid
I have never liked this song before Floor made it. Im looking forward to see Nightwish live next year hopefully.
Very good reaction!
I like the way you mix different things in your reaction!
Keep up the good work 🎭
You're absolutely one of my favorite reactors, girl! I highly recommend I Don't Know a Thing About Love from the same show, as many others have requested! You'll LOVE it!
Please! Do more reactions to Floor and Nightwish! Your reactions are so good and I love them!
Also have you reacted to Epica - Sancta Terra (feat floor jansen) live retrospect show
Full on orchestra with a choir as back up.
It will blow your mind.

Also from the same concert check out
Epica - Stabat Mater Dolorosa with Floor Jansen live retrospect show.
Simone SImons and Floor sing this duet with the orchestra.
th-cam.com/video/nhtOORYTGx8/w-d-xo.html
no she didn't. You can clearly see she didn't mean to say girl. That is why she made the face and shook her head.
@@p8triotmode No, she really meant to sing 'girl'. She sung it especially for Emma. There's a deeper meaning there, that's why she shook her head. The song meant something for Emma.
@@p8triotmode Wrong
@@p8triotmode oh really? Then why she does the same thing in most duet song where there is man part but she is singing it alone? She has sang Phantom of Opera in rehearsals as well and even there she did Henk's or who ever was suppose to sing that part with her. Just saying Mr.Knowitall.
This Constitutional dude is either jealous or hater of Floor. No other reason to try put her down. Fine, go and sing it better yourself you moran
If a valkyra comes for my soul when i die i want her to look and sound like Floor!
Yes, yes, yes! Floor will collect my soul, or I'm not going anywhere!
Just a wee bit obsessed...umm, yeah.
Thanks. Love your channel.
It was great to see how much you enjoyed that.
Thank you for watching, Doug, and for taking time to comment.. 🌟
There is another variable in her singing arsenal I'm not sure you have seen yet. Nightwish live version "Yours is an empty hope" if you want to see her growl like a beast.🤗
Or take look at the song "Disdain" while she was in "Revamp" th-cam.com/video/tIqzPXzhEuw/w-d-xo.html
So much fun to see you react so enthousiastically. Straight from the heart it seems to me. Still fun to watch in april 2022.
Defnitely one of my favorite reactions on youtube! Watched it at least half a dozen times already :-)
In case you are wondering about the other ones: Check out Metal Mana "Romanticide", Mr.
The band is so incredible on this show! What diversity of skill it requires and they never miss! Wow!
Looking at you and hearing Floor sing was the most exciting experience of the past 10 years :)
Singing softly is so much tougher than most people know!
I saw an interview with Floor where she said she was really nervous before this entire show because she’d never done some of the styles.
I think she knocked it dead 😁
If you want a guaranteed tear jerker of a Nightwish song that they can’t get through without crying themselves, check out Our Decades in the Sun on the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful 😉 It’s a gorgeous tribute to their parents 😎
Floor did in in the last episode this song with Tim (the curly guy)
another epic version.
Tim's delivery reminds me a lot of Springsteen in delivery. His cover of Nemo could well have fitted on a mid-90s Springsteen album (the Boss has something of an eclectic taste, as illustrated by his really rather good version of Royals by Lorde live)
The way you presented the information was so wonderful. Thank you and I look forward to future videos............ :-)
Thank you for this reaction for a awesome song in this Cover from Floor, you and your family and friends Merry Christmas, greetings from northern germany
I have waited for this.:)
She's just make many metal head melt down...her voice like an Angel...Thank you so much coach for reaction this song...Please react "Ave Maria" Marko n' Floor...Merry Christmas dear coach
Christi I love your reaction and I adore, repeat, I adore your beautiful eyes. Please do more Floor reactions. I like how you like our goddess! 🙌🏻🙏🏻👍🏻
Full package I think having fun is what she’s doing love it
Other singers sing what they can, Floor sings what she wants (real wonder women)
