@@danielenyel3542 Xena & Wonder Woman aren't that far apart from one another, both are warriors with exceptions of ones a Goddess with super human abilities. So it would've worked out
She did actually voice Wonder Woman in one of the animated movies, but she only played a small part. She still did a great job.
They made Zeus look like a mortal king but they made Poseidon a BAD ASS GOD!

I love how the gods know Xena's name. I also love the fact that Xena is not afraid of the gods and is able to go toe-to-toe with them. I just wished they revealed how she was able to do it.
Perhaps this scene is worth re-watching to figure it out. She does what a good fantasy diplomat does and starts with the right greeting that directly acknowledges them. She never gets confused between combat and diplomacy, never lets fear get the best of her once she's in it. And the gods are kind enough to announce their presence long enough for her to put up her front.
They do hint at Xena being a demigod. A daughter of Ares. It is speculative, but they make numerous hints towards this throughout the series. Most strongly in the episode with the furies.

I never saw the episode with Poseidon. But saw him in the intro and always wondered when he would pop up!
My wife & I are marathoning XWP and she insisted that I search for when this episode appeared. She's happy for the moment now.

They didn't do enough with Poseidon in the series. He was cool.
Apparently it was super expensive CGI at the time, so they couldn’t afford it. Lol Poseidon dies in like 10 seconds in Season 5 😅

This was always cool. Rob Taperd said he tried really hard to get posidon on the show because he was in the credits in a shot made for the credits and wanted to follow through

Nice seeing the actor who played Worf's brother, Kurn without the prosthetics. Imagine my surprise when I realized the same actor played Sisko's grown son Jake and that I hadn't recognized him before. I think that his character in Xena is some kind of captain and therefore is more similar to Kurn than grown up Jake who is a writer.
His name is Tony Todd and he's a legend.
CGI, you've come a long way, baby.

In Season 2 the episode is called (Warrior... Princess... Tramp) and in Season 3 the episode is called (Warrior... Priestess... Tramp)

Great special effect.
The intro had a different Poseidon colour for the torrent and crown never could work out where that scene came from. Her best scenes were in Hercules when you saw who she really was. The gauntlet and the scene saving a farm from her army and saving Hercules showed who she really was to us not just an evil character.

So cool. When I lived in Detroit, I often saw the Transformers being transported on the freeway and heard the explosions downtown when they shot scenes with pyrotechnics. Would've loved to have been near production for Xena.
@@anonimothy5979 They were filming the live action Mulan movie near my house. The road accessing the forest they used was right next to my house. At stupid times of the night I would hear trucks and cars driving through and see them parked up in the distance

The DVD Collection was my present to myself Christmas 2018. She was always my hero since i'm a kid and she ever will be. There wont be a greater woman than her. Even in reallife she is a hero and I hope, one day ill meet her.
