- Replacement for my old Xena video. Now with better visuals, much better audio, I play slightly better and my game didn't crash so my stats will be accurate.

LOVED this game when I was a kid. Used to go over to my aunt's house and play it with my cousins. Video games were so novel back then that our whole family from my mother to our grandma would sit around and play it with us. Those were awesome times.

Even though middle school was horrible for me. This game will be the best thing I remember from the early 2000s. I played this game everyday and on weekends and got better! I miss watching Xena on weekends and Hercules. Good times.
I remember playing Hercules too. The city level was amazing.
Also did u know that there was an old console called 3do had some games that used real people and background from start till finish

If it helps high school wasn't great for me but I always loved watching Xena and Hercules on Sunday evenings and getting to play the game. When you have things to look forward to it does help you get through the week but I'm glad my school days are over as once out of school you can go and do as you wish!

This is absolutely epic and needs a remaster to meet today's visual standards!
So remember playing this every day when I would get home from middle school or on the weekends with the game sound off and the cranberries first album cheering me on.
This game (and most old adventure games) is a proof that you don't need an open world design to have a good exploration
The amount of combos and fluid gameplay certainly made Xena one of the best 3rd person games for ps1, alongside with spider man soul reaver and syphon filter

I remember when this show originally aired. I remember loving it because I had a HUGE crush on Lucy and Renee. I remember owning this game because of my love for those ladies and this show. And I remember when we looked at these graphics and gameplay as totally fine. Damn I wish I could go back in time.
Oh my God, I remember that when I found out that this game was coming out I asked my parents to buy it for me for Christmas and I spent a month thinking about it until the day arrived. I enjoyed playing every day, what memories.

I grew up on the PS3 Xbox 360 and Wii U. I heard about the PS2 and PS1. Didn't know the graphic was this horrible back then? Wow How could you even tell what's going on? It's so bad.
@@lennell2007 Xena, Megaman Legends, Spiderman are like the best graphics back then. You won't even notice that it's kinda bad if you grew up playing ps1, snes or something

My childhood ❤️💙💚 nice plot , nice gameplay which contains many different environments within 21 levels , nice soundtrack. And the game display perfect the exact atmosphere the series had.

I'm french and used to play this game when I was a kid - the french version did have the exact same sounds effects, like the screams and stuff. This brings back so many memories ! The levels are so ugly yet so lovable at the same time. I remember I was obsessed with the waterfalls of the first level. And the cyclop was so memorable lmao
The gameplay looks surprisingly well done.

This game was one of my fav if not the best games ever in my whole childhood. I've been thinking of looking it up on TH-cam for years, tonight I did. How different the game use to look like at the time. Its all about perspective! Now the graphic looks bad, but back in the day this was legit and we really had a great time playing these simple yet fun games.

Considering PS1 graphical limitation, this really looked so good. It looks even better than I remembered. The artist/art director + the team really did a great job, very beautiful atmosphere. And of course very great gameplay and I'm sure they had very good coder, the chakram is just great!
Watching the cam follow the chacram had me blown away! In all the ps1 games Ive played I dont remember playing anything with a mechanic like that. Super fast, smooth, and seemed to respond to physics and i dont know if its player directed or not but way to go devs!

I never had a PlayStation as a kid, I always had a Nintendo 64, so anytime I touched a PS1 it was when I went to a friend's place, and more often than not, they never had a memory card. Xena was one of those games I remember trying out and getting a kick out of it. I never got very far past the island of Chronos, I do remember the cyclops. But the experience didn't last long as that neighbor left, and I haven't touched or thought of it since. Only last night did I suddenly remember it and chose to look this up after all these years, and I might try to see if I can snatch up an old copy, this looks like fun I missed out on!
