    This is one of the very best chair exercises ! I have been doing this routine for few years now, and older I get, more and more I appreciate this wonderful routine. It helps me to maintain the all body mobility and my back does not give me trouble! Cindy, it is so easy to follow your calming instructions and, thank you for your encouragements ! It is an amazing video and a wonderful set of exercises. Thank you so much for creating and posting it !

    I am on week two of this routine every day and can feel measurable effects. My back aches less, my posture is better and I feel more energised. Really good for the elderly (which I am).

    Oh my goodness! I was beginning to think I would just have to put up with pain in my lower back and left hip when I saw your video and decided to try it. I just finished my first time through “Chair exercise for low back pain” and I definitely feel some relief in my back and hip. I knew I needed to stretch, but I’m 64 y.o. and everything I found kept wanting me laying on the ground, which I can’t really do. Thank you for these stretches. They helped. I’ll be back tomorrow for more.

    Cindy: This is a wonderful set of stretching exercises which includes several exercises that are hard to find in other instructors' routines. However, your speed is too fast throughout, so that the practitioner usually has insufficient time to finish or go sufficiently through the exercise at hand. If you added 5 or 10 minutes to the whole routine it would be much better. Barry, 73.

    Hello Cindy. I've been doing these exercises for couple of weeks. The first chair yoga I've done and they are helping a lot. I like the no nonsense approach. I hope to memorize the moves so I can increase them later. Take care.

    Thank you Cindy, At 77, only once a year doctor to prove I am ok to drive and on no medication, then 2 weeks ago lower back pain and at my wits end then I came across you and WOW! I am doing this for the first time and no pain.. gone! Will keep following you .. Thanks Cindy .... THANKS

    So glad I found you! I'm 71 and my knees don't get me to the ground lol.
    I have suffered with LBP for years! I am overweight and only 4'11", so I'm sure that is a lot of the problem.
    I need to strengthen lower back muscles...as that helped before the pandemic..I belonged to a gym then
    The gym closed, and little by little the back pain has returned. big time.
    I cannot even walk a half block without pain.
    It's so depressing because there are so many things I would like to do, but just can't.
    Of course, low motivation doesn't help!
    Thank you for your videos, I saw several good exercises I am able to do!

      Lois, Don't give up! Progress Is slower as we age as I am discovering with my rehab. But with baby steps and consistency, you should start to see improvement after a couple of weeks. Just keep thinking of all those things you would like to do and KEEP GOING! You can do it! Keep me posted.

    Cindy I am so glad I found your back pain regime. I live in Ireland and it’s very damp. I have had back pain for a year and tried everything from acupuncture to physio etc etc. I have been doing your exercises for 10 days and already feel so much better. I look forward to them I think that is the first time I have looked forward to an exercise. I can feel it doing me good I love the fact the exercises are so varied and you don’t have a repetition of 10 times in order for it to be successful. Thank you so much from the bottom of my back!

    This pandemic made me a slouch potato & naturally gained weight. Recently I had back pain after doing a low impact exercise. Mistake. I should have started doing YOUR stretching exercises FIRST. THANK YOU for doing this! Felt better. I’ll continue doing & check out your other videos.

    Strained my lower back and was lying down for relief and had to start some movement. This is very helpful. Greatest relief was using counter and arm support to begin stretching back which couldn't til then. Only request is to add in some mellow instrumental music, but I did that with my phone. Thanks Cindy finally begnning to break pain cycle.

    Loved your first chair stretching I did and now I have discovered this one……you are a wonderful guide thru these exercises. My back feels so much better after the 55 minute walk I just concluded. Will also adopt this routine prior to walks.

    Hi Cindy. I have severe lower back pain. Your chair exercise for lower back every day helps immensely. I am not sure which one helps the most, however after completion I have less pain, not perfect but enough to help. This is my 'go-to' every morning, Thank you.

    I’m so glad I found you on TH-cam! Your gentle movement videos are just my speed. I have herniated discs in my back, spinal stenosis with severe claudication and MS so moving is difficult but your videos really help!

    I almost didn't do this video but am glad that I did. It is perfect. Keep posting these chair stretches loved them. I am 54 and have had issues due to a surgery that weakened my core. Never had lower back discomfort until now. This was great. Thanks, again!

    I have back pain throughout my whole back and shoulder pain too. These exercises certainly made me feel better. I did not want to stop doing them as the relief from pain was sooòo good. Thank you. I can see myself doing this daily.

    Thank you. This seemed to help. Still a little stiff but I feel oxygenated…. Some were a bit difficult to do, only because I’m 9 weeks post op from a knee replacement…. The discomfort started at 7 weeks.

    These were great. I did them in the hospital where I was first 24 hour observation… they helped the pain in my lower back from the soft mattress.

I am young but I injured my lower back by lifting wrong, though I was not able to some of these workouts due to tightness and pain I am now able to walk around and manage the pain I do have. yesterday I did floor stretches and got stuck on the floor for about 6 hours and it was horrible.     I am so Happy I found you. I went to physio and chiropractor ended up with further back pain, but Cindy’s
    Workout is the only one that gives me relief and in fact I feel it is helping me heal.
    I Do morning and night, sometimes only the first chair part. When I do first part before bed I wake up with no pain - that’s so amazing-. I would like more chair exercises.

    I just did the very beginning and I already feel good. I got a concussion on a Wednesday and the following Wednesday I received another one and had my lower back and my whole body messed up in a car accident. I have been dealing with this for 9 years and then I got plantar fasciitis. So I am a mess. I’m 53 and can only be on my feet so long before I have to sit so my lower back can calm down. Thank you for this.

      I hear you. Sometime I have to lie down and take a nap to just get off my feet and let the back pain subside. Then I get up and do my stretches and feel much better. Good for you being proactive. Keep me posted on your progress and hope you are healing.

    Thank-you for these exercises. I had acute pain in m back and was very stiff and could not bend. The slightest bump in the car gave much pain in my back, The first day I found relief. The car pumps do not bring on extreme pain The exercises made my right hip sore which was probably the reason for back pain I do appreciate your exercises and that is why I am thanking you.

      @@FitnessWithCindy Thank-you . It is nice of you to ask. I am very good this week . I did have a recurrence of pain when I got out of bed too fast but that is OK now . In that I can sit without pain is the biggest success test that exercises have helped . My friend gave me a Dr, Scholl's vibrating pad that probably gets blood flowing. And my daughter gave me some CHC cream that I only used twice. I also resumed walking that I do every day . The full circuit is around 2.5 miles if I do the whole trail. I am very happy that there has been an improvement over very painful episodes. .I also pray as a habit as I have been healed so many times and do thank God as I felt prompted to do some exercises.. I am 84.

    I was barely able to move doing these but I pushed through it. 7 days of crawling on the floor. I do however feel less tight in my hips and lower back. Thank you
