CHEAP EXHAUST MANIFOLDS FROM EBAY. BLEMISH MANIFOLDS!

No clearance, no problem! After setting the motor and transmission in the Travelall the exhaust manifold on the passenger side was aimed straight at the frame rail. Here’s a quick video on how some $146 ebay blemish manifolds saved me from having to modify the factory exhaust manifolds or buy pricey headers. These things fit great!

Just an FYI, the factory manifolds are cast "steel" (not cast "iron") and weld quite well. Having your fab/wilding skills, I might have "pie-cut" and rewelded the factory manifolds and saved the $140 for an upgraded fuel pump, aluminum rad or something that might have been overlooked (which NEVER happens!🤣). GREAT work so far. It's refreshing to see an out of the ordinary ride being saved from the crusher. Once these are gone, they're gone forever

eBay blemishes! Ha! I went through 3 Dorman ford 5.4 3valve manifolds before I got one with out a hole going through the port due to bad castings. I’m glad I noticed it before putting it on. I’d been pissed!

Use the Deboss garage jumper cable method to get that stud does not come out simply

With aluminum head and steel bolts you get galvanic corrosion. 12v, with the positive on the bust bolt/stud and negitive to the block. The the stud get hot and or red. Let it cool and oit she comes. Works great it hard to get places
