Mainly responsible for his tone should be the Hawk (Treble) Booster. The often cited Dallas Rangemaster (another Treble Booster) was used years earlier by Rory. He often played through at least two amps at the same time, VOX AC 30 or some Fender combined with a Marshall. Have to agree, his sound in 1994 was on top, but he would also play it like hell and death were chasing him. What a man!

Probably a marshall 50 watt combo with an AC30 Linked with what looks like an fx pedal out front..
