Your paintjob looks so good! Smooth transitions and the colors are not too saturated, just right! I have made a Hexton Map myself, filled the gaps, painted it, glued it on a mdf board and hung it on the wall. Very decorative!
Hexton Hills is the real deal. I was in the kickstarter and these guys have gone above and beyond to listen to feedback and make their supporters happy. I fully endorse giving them money, there are so many awesome tiles.
Unbelievably EPIC!!!!!! Great idea Mat and Adam YOU DA MAN!!!!!!!! Love how you go over the ups and downs of building terrain. I can tell you this happens ALL THE TIME!!!!! People who are serious terrain builders always find a way to land on their feet so GREAT JOB ALL OF YOU!!!!!
This scratches an unbelievable itch I have for mighty empires and warmaster. I’m so jealous and so happy you fuel my imagination like that! Too bad I’m thousands of miles and an ocean away
Thank you brother Matt!!!!! I will add these to my future shopping list! I wanted these so bad for years and now I can finally get them! I hope you all had fun at Adepticon! Aloha Amen Shalom!
Here's a comment for the algorithm, blessed be. Lol This is so cool. I really like the narrative focus. This also really sparked my interest in 3d printers.
Gorilla Glue Gel works amazingly for magnets. I glue a super thin 0.5mm piece of cork to my bases first, though. The bond between them all is insanely strong.
That map looks amazing, with details, layout, and of course the paint! Thanksnforbthe info, as i was looking into using tiles for an old school border prince campaign for 6th, but blood in the bad lands was giving me inspiration. These will fill that out so nicely!
This is amazing guys. I absolutely LOVE the narrative campaigns that you guys do and shows the dedication you have to the hobby. Just a little idea/nudge/hope - any chance of doing this for a DnD campaign anytime soon??? Please? Pretty please?! The Heroes of Herenburg are needed again. There's been rumours of a dark shadow being cast across the lands of the north and rumours of monsters long thought banished to the 9 hells have been getting more and more popular in recent times... such that they can no longer be ignored. :)
Really hope to see one of these for 40k. I’m currently running a hex based campaign for a killteam group, and something like this would be an awesome way to bring the map to life.
Thanks so much! It helps more than you realize. The Graven Guild guys have been working on this for years. I’m hoping to get them the recognition they deserve for such a great product.
@MWG Studios Do you recommend printing them all in FDM or do you recommend Resin? I use my prusa for 99% of my printing, but do have a Elegoo Saturn that rarely gets used. Also, any chance Graven Guild will be releasing those custom tiles that you had made for your campaign? Lastly, I sent a message to customer support - it looks like the Coastal Settlement 01 was left off the download list.
started a narrative campaign for 9th edition 40k a few months ago that uses a hex tile system, where we're fighting over a imperial hive world to close out 9th, and that's been a lot of fun! Map looks great and I hope the campaign is a smash hit!
this is legit one of my all time dreams regarding the hobby. A massive map that will be used for a map, with territory being gained and each tile providing certain presets regarding terrain and special rules. Thank you guys for fulfilling a dream of mine, it will be a massive help when I get to it one day! Hopefully xD
So many fond memories of Mighty Empires... Seeing this makes me cry with nostalgia. This map is beyond awesome. Too bad i'm in the EU would join in a heartbeat. Have fun guys
This exact thing is what will make me become a vault member again. Once I see the first video for this I'll join up again. Good on you guys, I LOVE THIS!
Just started dipping my toes into 40k. If you get a campaign going for 40k i will go full out this looks like an awesome idea. Looking forward to watching it unfold
See, I don't even like AoS, but stuff like this is why I decided to re-subscribe to MWG even after getting a lifetime membership. I like to support the cool and fun stuff you guys do.
This is amazing!!! I truly wish I could afford your lifetime membership (not your fault - the value proposition is amazing!)! You guys always do such amazing stuff!!
nice, I really love such campaign maps. I'm actually planning to print tiles for necromunda (non ash whastes, different vendor). So more like tiles within a city, like a scrap yard and a market. Rather than a larger landscape where one tile is a river, one is a village and so on. I just have no one to play necromunda with :D
Hex tile maps are always cool. I just don't have the need to go as big as i really want to. Maybe after 10th edition drops more of my friends will play and I can do something with them.
I got in on the hexton tiles in their kickstarter and wanted to do the same thing .....never got round to it but thanks Matt for kicking the idea back into life ..... I have one of those revolving wipe boards as well so ....chefs kiss perfect .... Yes I AM STEALING THIS !!
Aaaaa This is so cool! I wish I could get enough time off to participate, but no dice I hope this all goes well! Campaign maps like this, just really please the TTRPG player in me haha
I would love to see a campaign like this but 40k where fleets when meeting over a planet can perform a planetary assault (typical 40k narrative game) or space battles with Battlefleet Gothic to serve as the space games. I think it would be a massive challenge but would be fun to see.
Ooooooh i LOVED IT! And also would love to go there and play with u guys but... Not enought money 😅 time and papers are ok but the money... oh boy, it's harsh living in a poor comunity from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil
Maybe you could add a system where viewers can vote on events that could effect the campaign. Just a way for viewers to participate even if they can't play.
I’m trying figure out ways for that to work. The difficulty comes in lead time between filming and posting. When we film, there are games that aren’t posted yet, so viewers aren’t up to date.

I realise this was a while ago but do you recall what glue you used instead of the gorilla gel (which would definitely be my goto)
Soo cool guys.. big narrative events like this are way better than hyper serious competitive IMO
I agree! Although I do get the fun in competitive as well, narrative has always been my thing.
@@miniwargaming its things like this in which i wish plane tickets were cheaper
Absolutely!
@@angus3591 Charmed, I'm sure
Literally starting a Seraphon army to get in on this. It’s gonna be jawsome!!!

I was sold seeing it in the thumbnail alone.
you are a mad lad this is AMAZING looks so good good job on everything
Thanks so much!
I visited the Bunker a couple of days ago. The map looks amazing, I cant wait for this to get started and for the 40k version.
Hexton Hills is the real deal. I was in the kickstarter and these guys have gone above and beyond to listen to feedback and make their supporters happy. I fully endorse giving them money, there are so many awesome tiles.
It is looking like that Game of Thrones opening!
Warzone Apothis was the reason I became a vault member all those years ago, I couldn't be more excited for this!
now I need the conquerable, hextile map of the Old World!
Absolutely amazing, the sweeping shots of the board were straight out of a Game of Thrones intro, can't wait to see the campaign!
That was the inspiration!
This is literally what I live and pay the vault membership for so excited this campaign is alone is literally why I just got the lifetime membership
This is absolutely incredible. Wish I lived closer so I could drive up and play some AoS with this system again, and again, and again.
Adam is a hero. That is a lot of work.
Age of Sigmar is such an amazing canvas for fantasy story telling. The breath of the setting is unbelievable. And this board will do it some Justice
Here's a comment for the algorithm, blessed be. Lol
This is so cool. I really like the narrative focus. This also really sparked my interest in 3d printers.
Far out, that's an absolutely fantastic project. Can't wait for the battle reports to start coming out!
Green Leaf is THE MAN!!!!!! Love you guys!!!!!!
Love you too brother!
This is the coolest thing ive seen in a long time
Gorilla Glue Gel works amazingly for magnets. I glue a super thin 0.5mm piece of cork to my bases first, though. The bond between them all is insanely strong.
It’s more the bond from the glue to the PLA plastic that the 3D printers use. That’s where it gets wonky.
Man, one day I hope to be able to come play. I live in NY, not far!
Very cool, I'm already a vault member but will definitely look at the 3d tiles.
Thanks so much for your support!

Where would any of us be without GreenLeaf Terrain? A legend
I honestly don’t know. He has done so much work for us.
😜 Awesome Video thank you for sharing and keep up the good work! Love it!

Next level stuff, i wish i could use the teleportarium to jump the ocean and see that in real
Great project! I am happily looking forward to this exciting campain and all the games played for it. Greetings from Germany
I've seen this up close, and it is amazing!

@@miniwargaming you guys deserve it!
it reminds me the Moonstone Amiga video game!!!!!
If I wore a hat, I would take my hat off to you and this wonderful endeavor.
This looks absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to see all the great content from it
The tiles remind me of that 3D version of Catan they did back in the day.
This is such a sick idea
Bucket full of extras? That’s not a waste that’s future pieces that can be of use for future campaigns like another 40k version of this!
This is seriously cool

MWG doing cool MWG things.
EDIT: And Adam of GLT coming up huge with the ace paint job. This looks so good.

Looks super good! Very exciting!
This was awesome! ❤
i need to get these files. I fell in love with hexaton hills as soon as i saw them years ago
This is rad 😩👌. Should a similar system be set up for 40k, the Fire Keepers will answer the call. 🔥🔥
YES YES YES YES YES
When are we doing Middle Earth in Hex Tiles Matty hahaha
"I don't like to do anything small" - Matty, you're speaking my language.
We should do that! I could print them at 75% scale. If you’re serious you know how to get a hold of me. :)

Yeah i just found these tiles on MMF a few days ago and they are awesome
Amazing work, it’s making me want to build one for mesbg 😄
You definitely should!
Awesome paint job, kudos
The Planetary Empires for 40K was some of the best batraps MW did, you guys should do it again using this new tech. Amazing map btw.
There may already be plans in motion…
Absolutely beautiful map!
Looks awesome!
THE PRINT FARM IN THE BASEMENT~!
I just purchased the mega pack. And 10kg of resin. We're playing exclusively 40k but the tiles will do nonetheless.
Awesome! Thanks so much for your support!
LoL, I remember having seen a Horus Heresy campaign with those tiles at a wargamers assossiation’s ”gaming bunker” 😂
As soon as I see matts name in the headline i know laughter and hilarity will follow 😂
Ooooooh i LOVED IT! And also would love to go there and play with u guys but... Not enought money 😅 time and papers are ok but the money... oh boy, it's harsh living in a poor comunity from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil
this is brilliant
Are there going to be update videos on how it’s all progressing? Excited to follow along!!!
Would be amazing if Hexton could design a hextile set for warhammer 40k space exploration with the different factions
Man that looks so sharp
Its gonna be exciting watching this unfold
Hexton stuff is amazing
It looks dam spiffy :]
❤❤❤
It's definitely an interesting take
