They had been trying not to pay too much attention to the noise outside, but now they could make out the horrible screaming of those...things as well as something...mechanical? Suddenly, a massive glistening black mass is shoved into the escape pod. It writhes and screams as a large mechanical claw pins it against the floor. One of the soldiers is calmly piloting a cargo lifter, barely managing to hold the giant alien down as he winds up the other claw for a strike. The child is terrified, not only are they mere inches away from the creature, they are strapped in, and in their panic it is difficult to unlock the belts. As they finally unfasten the restraints, they feel a hand on their shoulder and a voice shouts over the din "Don't be scared! Everything is under control! Let's get you buckled up!" The amount of adrenaline-fueled action straight out of Aliens, the horror of surprise facehugger attacks and alien queens emerging from the darkness, and the endlessly hilarious and exceedingly creative decisions from Ben, Lewis, and Tom had me hooked from start to finish. Perception checks should absolutely be a part of the main game, imagine rolling a 1 when a xenomorph pops up and you think you found a survivor so you just don't shoot as it approaches you
A Xenomorph when in that type of frenzy, makes a lot of noise, especially the claws on the metal, which you can definitely hear in that eerie silence of the 'dead' ship, kind of why in the movies the people are always looking about scared, cause they're hearing these very faint noises... I think the Xenos can enter some form of 'stealth' mode where they are more silent, but obviously not as loud, however I don't think it was the case with this one.

Alex, you've made a terrific board for the boys to play xenohulk on! I'm a bit curious though, are those TV7 miniatures for the humans? Also, I like how you have to account for the acid splashback if you kill a xenomorph right next to you, as well as how facehuggers can be mistaken for cats. That's a nice little rule considering how stealthy the blighters can be.
Watching this gave me a cool idea for a RPG game like DnD but instead of controlling a single character you control a squad. You talk, quest and whatever you also get to do tabletop war gaming in combats
So Brilliant! Amazing Board!!! Never know i needed a Battle Report about Aliens XD Next AvP: The Hunt or Masters of the Universe Battlegrounds as Battle Report ? Even Resident Evil 1,2,3 would be intressting. Games Night ,you brought up some good ideas XD ( The Container used seems the same i have in Battle for Macragge ).
God damn that was awesome, love the corpo’s being while not villainous certainly morally challenged but still working to get her as it was definitely in their best interest. And the whole thing was super cinematic.
This is such a beautiful, maximalist experience. For a sleek, minimalist take, I'm quite thrilled about Echo of the Predator on Kickstarter. It looks like everything I want in a quick-to-pick-up Alien game.
A while ago in a D&D game I sent the party to hunt down a stealth/ambush themed monster that was hiding out in the city sewer system. Sadly, nobody in the group noticed that the map of said sewer system was a copy/trace of the floorplan of the Nostromo.

That was fun. "Should i throw the queen in the escape pod?"
"Well there's a kid in there..." 😂
These are so good. If I was the richest man in the world I would just drop as much money as you guys want to fund these videos. Such great energy.
Loved this one! I will say, the Members' cut has tons of extra fun and jokes. Well worth it!
Very cool. I look at these sets and think that 3d printing really can make nearly any gaming idea come to life.
Amazing game as always! Thank you tall Alex for making the board
Damn, that board and those figures look amazing!
Bro i want so much this board game
Pet killer Brindles at it again
Dunc probably still has a higher pet body count on Tiddles alone. XD
@@Eeraschyyr So true, so true.
Indeed, it could've been worse. Duncan "Dog-Blower" Jones could've been, well, _doing his thing._
This one was one of the best videos so far!
This raises the question: How many Aliens movies could've been better if they'd been about a floating cat sanctuary instead?
Holy moly, that game board is fantastic!
There is already a really good table top Aliens board game that was made in the 80's but I do love your set you built.
This is exactly what an alien board game should be. Yes I have played space hulk but the rules I do like can be swapped over
Absolutely loved this. Gave me ideas for trying a game night with mates.
You ran this so well.
"Can I chuck her in the escape pod?"
"There's a child in there!"
That bit got me, lol.
I love that Lewis "Animal Killer" Brindley will never fail to kill even the only innocent animal in the vicinity. XD I love these so much. Great game
Love these so much! Watch them with my brothers every time they come out! Ben you do so good we love you!
This and the last video were two of the best games I've watched on TH-cam keep it up!
0:21 just seeing the Xenomorph popping around that post like "hey yall hows it going?" with it's arms out like it wants to hug you and not kill you is hilarious oh im hurting from laughing so hard.
0:58 are those models painted or do they come like that? If painted they are incredibly well done
They're painted. They're from a table top game called "another glorious day in the corps".
It's a table top game based on the Aliens film. It's pretty good. Its kinda like space hulk.
