I LOVE that you didn’t speed the video up too fast. Every other Lovesac video I’ve seen is too fast to follow what they’re actually doing. Thank you for the great video
Thanks for this detailed review. I'd love for you to do a follow-up video on how it's holding up. Are the cushions going flat? Is the material for the covers durable and still looking nice? And I'd love to see different configurations. I'm thinking about getting one of the bigger size ones like you did, and those things would help me decide.
Excellent review! It was great hearing about how you identified the best set up and what you wish you had done a bit differently when putting it together. I just got my smaller set delivered (bought a smaller Costco bundle because after playing around with dimensions, I realized I would want at least one deep side and storage base instead of all regular sides and bases). Thank you for your thoughtful commentary.
@@stephm6202 I have the corded velvet in charcoal gray. I wouldn't call it a true velvet, it's hard to describe. It's like a less soft, stiff haired velvet if that makes sense. "Brushed" velvet might be softer. I like mine just fine but it sweatpants tend to "stick" to the fabric a little due to the bit of friction so shifting position is odd, but not bad enough to dislike it. I have a feeling this will wear over time and become a bit softer, too. I went with a deep seated L with 3 deep seats as the "main" forward facing couch configuration and the L is made by putting keeping the seat in the same orientation and creating a chaise lounge, so if someone sits with their back on that cushion, it's a standard depth. My original purchase was for the 4 seat/5 side configuration, and I had to purchase one deep side and two deep seat pillows (including all associated covers--wait for a 20% off or more sale and it's worth it, or look for the frame/pillows on eBay, I got floor model pillows on eBay and the covers from Lovesac and they are all in great shape) for it to work properly (one for the obvious deep seat in the middle of the 3-seat main couch portion and another pillow for the corner since two standard ones don't really fit as a corner arrangement). I think the thickness of the pillows pushes your bum more forward and shortens the depth of the seat, so I greatly prefer the deep seat configuration. However, I feel that over time the pillow will soften a bit and compress and standard configuration may be fine.I have the standard fill and it is fairly firm, but very comfortable. I've been using it for about a month and the cushions are breaking in a bit in a good way. I think the spring support under the cushion is a bit stiff and also feels like it's pushing you towards the front of the couch as well, and that should also break in as well, also likely leading to a better standard seat depth experience as it wears. I don't have the need to fluff or straighten the pillows at this time because of their stiffness, so that is a bonus. It's not uncomfortable as it is, just noticeable if you think about it. The latest bundle on Costco had a mix of storage and regular seats, which I think is a total steal for a few hundred extra bucks, and I wish I could have gotten that bundle instead, but had no way of knowing. 60-day returns are included, I contacted Lovesac and the rep said that you don't have to keep the boxes, they will send you new ones free if you end up deciding to return them. Hope this helps!
We just bought ($6100) a 5 seater + ottoman and made a 8’ deep x 10’ standard. We love it. Assembly is really not an issue if you watch the TH-cam videos AND take your time. No need to rush. We started about 10 am, had lunch and finished in time to fix dinner and watch MNF. Oh yeah…I’m retired and 67 and my wife is 63. We will buy accessories as Christmas presents and maybe a table. We are very (so far) satisfied with our purchase.

Some of these folks in the comments have apparently not been to a "furniture store" recently. I see things like, "Lovesac suck!" and, "Generic looking couch". If your comment has anything to do with looks, just don't even bother commenting. Looks are subjective. Nobody cares what your opinion is on the looks of the couch. The true facts are that Lovesac is modular, lifetime warranty, $xxx will get you an entirely new look and you can't do that with any other couch at a "furniture store". The key thing that makes Lovesac worth it above all else is they can have it to me in a few weeks and EVERY furniture store I went to is 4 months minimum. I'd pay the premium just to be able to sit.
Totally agree. And actually, currently with the whole global supply chain issue, most quality furniture stores are looking at lead times of 9 to 12 months! I can’t wait to get my sactional in a matter of weeks.
@@kweli05 I’m going to assume you meant “worked” for Lovesac…lol. I own one, cash, with a receipt. They don’t need me to shill for them, product sells itself. I work for a hospital, not a furniture store.
We are researching the sactional, from other video comments the "hard parts" are made of real plywood, not MDF or beaver board. If this is true, that alone is well worth the price of a Lovesac. We made the mistake of buying a "name brand" couch a few years back, 6-8 months of mild use and it practically fell apart, never again. Going to make a short trip to one of their stores to check them out in person before pulling the trigger. BTW, love your comment!
How would you upgrade your current setup with the lovesac with speakers. Wondering if the upgrade is less. I like the speaker part for the family room.

For everyone commenting that these couches are overpriced I agree a little bit but they are a quality couch. I have sat on them and you can just feel that its high quality. If the couch is comfortable, it seems buying a new cover(s) would be worth the money to keep your comfortable couch. Not to mention keeping couches from going into the landfills. Is it comfortable? Why do you hate it?
@@Crown149 it’s pretty comfortable actually. Cushions are losing shape. One of the bases had a staple go through and pierced the fabric. The price of a new back or base cushion is expensive. The covers are expensive. If I get new covers, it’s the same price of a replacement (non sactional) couch. In terms of overall cost, it’s cheaper to just buy new couches when they wear out.
@@Gernatch hmmm all great points. Thank you.
If the couch is comfortable, it seems buying a new cover(s) would be worth the money to keep your comfortable couch. Not to mention keeping couches from going into the landfills. Lovesac intends for these to last a lifetime which is a great purpose. The covers are costly pieces but it was no surprise what everyone who owns a lovesac signed up for when making the purchase.
I love mine.
Buy it from Costco for their generous return policy
DUDE, WTF, WHITE SOCKS WITH FLIP FLOPS ? LOL
It's in style right now.
I would buy it but 7,000 we can’t afford that!
They are constantly having sales. Up to 35% off :)
But are you even old enough to understand insurance for the couch
They are overpriced for a sofa that's big lots grade.
You said NOTHING about the stealth tech
