    A COUPLE OF FOLLOW UP NOTES: If you are watching this video because you are trying to decide if you want to invest in a Sacational, please keep in mind this is ONE negative experience out of MANY positive ones. The Sactional wasn't a good fit for my lifestyle, but that doesn't mean it won't be a good fit for yours. If you KNOW a modular type of sofa is what you want and you have a higher budget to work with, then it may be a good investment for you. What it all comes down to is your lifestyle and cost vs product experience. As far as the covers go, many sales reps recommended the plush velvet ones saying they are the most durable and easy to clean. Please just keep that in mind. 💜

      Thank you for the video, at 2:44 I cannot believe how sloppy it looks. I have been considering it. I'm older, on a fixed income, suffer from lupus and basically I'm home quite a bit so furniture for me gets used, because most often I have to rest on the couch. And let's face it when I'm home comfort is everything ☺️ anyhow, with that said serious if you have found Furniture but you're happy with. If so I would love to hear what brand and how it's holding up. I2m five-foot-eight, I'm not a fat ass, I'm average weight smiling emoji but as I said I like to lay around and get comfortable f anybody out there has any tips or advice please send them my way. @@ritawashere5787 Glad I could help! & Thank you for watching 💜 The Sactional isn't a bad couch, it just isn't for everyone. I think most people are looking for a happy medium between comfort and aesthetic - and unfortunately I had a really hard time finding something that had both. The new couch I ended up with is a Chesterfield from Pottery Barn, which is definitely better looking than it is comfortable. Good luck on your search! It is exhausting!

We have the same type of fabric, but in a darker taupe and have not had any of the problems the reviewer had. We eat on it, have grandkids play on it and have a large, black, heavy shedder dog - no problems at all! I LOVE being able to pull the covers off and wash them, but have not had to do that very often. I was in the furniture business for years and I can tell you that an average quality sectional costs about 3k and will last apx 5-7 years with normal family/pet/kids wear. I have looked at these sectionals and though they are not cheap, they are worth the cost considering the lifetime warranty. In the long run, it is cheaper.

    • @MissAnnieB

      @Anyta JP Exactly! About 3k & still looks decent 5-7yrs max. So the 'lifetime guarantee' on this lovesac.. what do they just keep replacing it? Bc i just dont see that foam holding its shape, pillow fill staying plush, mdf holding up, i could go on.. js *it IS an Awesome concept, i just don't think the price lines up with product, esp having to buy everything separately 😏

      @Justin.Hawkins 5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Might want to read the fine print on the warranty. It's not a blanket warranty, excessive wear is not covered.

    • @edtruesdale4070
      @edtruesdale4070 4 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I believe the Lovesac warranty says that "hard" parts have a life time warranty. Cushions, fabric, etc. warranty varies with the product selected from 3 to 5 years. FWIW, My experience is that all loose cushion sofas at some point end up being sloppy and slouchy looking. I see the ability to rotate cushions to different locations to distribute the wear and the ability to replace covers at a some point a big plus for the Sactional.

    I got my Lovesac back in 2011 and many years later it still holds up. Back then there was this insane deal for 4 sides, 2 base chocolate velvet for $1200. Then again, it must's been a younger company. It has gone through many apartment changes and we are planning to upgrade. Definitely it sounds like you may have had a bad store experience. I just went to my local Lovesac recently and my husband and I had WAY MORE knowledge than the salesperson.
    I recommend to anyone please go to the store, try it out, do your research, and make an informed decision.

    I never really leave feedback on anything on You tube, but the fact that we have had a total opposite experience with ours I had to. We absolutely LOVE our Sactionals. I research the crap out of anything I buy so I was well schooled in the item. Costco was having a LOVESAC weekend and we looked at it live. We spent a lot of $$$, don't get me wrong it was a crazy amount, but we had to donate a couch that we spent 3500.00 that basically fell apart in a year. We bought the 8-10 package, with the deep cushions backs. Costco also threw in about "retail" 2000.00 worth of blankets,pillow, cup holders, city Sacs, and tables. We have 2 Great Danes and 1 Lab, we all love the couch. It is so well built and we change it around all the time. The fabric, we got the plush velvet, we have not had any issues at all. We have had 2 bad spills on it and took the covers off and washed them and came out brand new. We have had our Sactionals for 6 months and it gets abused everyday and still looks brand new. We change the couch around every few weeks when we want to try something new. We have had no one issue, out couch lays flat and is built like a brick-house. DO I wish it was cheaper, yes, but can see this couch lasting many years. Sorry for your bad experience.

    Thank for your honest opinion. So many videos out there are set up to just show how to assemble and that’s all. I’m a firm believer that nothing is perfect and there’s pros and cons to everything. However, when the pros outweigh the cons that you agree with it’s well worth a buy if the cons Outweigh the pros then obviously you need to really think about why are going to buy or not buy something. Your review is one of the only ones on the Internet that I could find that has a real outlook on things. With 4 kids (ages 10-17), we chose the Sactional Sofa for many reasons. Being able to keep the same sofa and change the fabrics was one. Another was the construction. Another reason was due to the ease of changing the sofa around to suit our immediate needs…. Now as for shallow vs deep setup…. It’s all in how you articulate the base. The sofa bases can either be configured so you have a longer setup (not my preference), or a nice deep relaxing lounge experience. Knowing this prior to purchasing it was something that won me over. But mainly, my main purchase reason was because we went through 2-3 sofas that never stood up to the toddlers beating the crap out of them. Getting the sactional sofa from LoveSac was by far our greatest comfort investment for a piece of furniture because it’s the #1 piece of furniture that has lasted over all others. It’s still kicking and we plan on expanding it this summer by doubling the size (plus an extra base/side or two). Just as a sidenote, as per the building/quality of this type of furniture. Lovesac constructed the sectional sofa with real wood as opposed to a lot of other furniture that is literally slashed in half as far as pricing is concerned because the competitors or what some might consider to be competitors are really not because they use particleboard and pressed wood. Sectional sofa is constructed with real wood. The durability (and lifetime warranty in the construction) in this couch is unlike any other I have ever seen because I’m 180 lbs and I can stand all around the couch and it won’t sink or sag. If you’re looking for long term, the cost of 2-3 sofa sets is nothing compared to the singular price for a set to suit one’s family. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for.”
    I love your honest review! Thank you for sharing ☺️

      Thank you for this comment. I kept thinking her reasons for returning the furniture were shallow and demanding. 1. There’s no such thing as a magic couch. 2. Obviously she didn’t order enough of the bases to level her sac appropriately. I’ve just started researching the product, but already I love it.

      @@anellawriteswouldn't that be the sale's people's fault? I'm sure they told her the pieces to get. Anyway, I don't think she's picky at all. I like my sofa to look neat. A big thing for me is not having to fluff cushions every time we use it. So, that's valid, and something she thought she researched. In addition, the fabric she got was recommended and on display, so why would it pill? I bought a Radley sofa from Macy's. My husband is 6' 3", and I'm 5' 4", and after going everywhere from Pottery Barn to Ethan Allen, it was the only sofa that was comfortable and fit both of us nicely. We got the gray chenille 4 years ago, and everyone thinks it's new. I never have to fluff it... Some say it's firm, but it's perfect for us. We paid $900. We just built a new house, and though I really thought about a different style sofa, we have been so impressed with everything about this sofa that we are ordering 2 more in a velvet fabric. The day I pay $4-10,000 for a sofa I have to put together will never come, lol.

      @@dorisboyercummings4984try Macy's Radley... We've had it for over 4 years in gray chenille and we just ordered two more in a sand velvet for our new home we just built. It still looks brand new after almost 5 years, and they have sectionals as well. It is there best seller. It's under $1000 almost all the time, and I swear it's a lost leader. Someone was helping move my sofa to get something that had gone under it, and they couldn't believe how heavy it was. Every single cushion can be flipped for wear, although there is no wear at all. The cushions are former, so they hold their shape, but we find them very comfy when lounging. We sat on a lot sofas before we found this, and truly we loved it before we even know the price.

    I recently purchased a Lovesac sactional and love it! I had first seen them almost 7 years ago in a mall in Delaware and I had to have one.. I purchased a house and said why not! We love it so far! Life time warranty on hard parts and 3 year on soft, how can you beat that? If you move and need a bigger couch you buy another seat and sides.. you're down sizing? Sell a seat and side or store them inside of eachother and in the basement! Painting the livingroom and it doesn't match? Buy new covers! I think this sofa adapts to any lifestyle flawlessly.. we cant fit it 3 length wise so we did it 3 deep with a chase lounge! Cut the length from 117inch to 98! (Our last couch was 96inch without any chase.. so we love it!) We also stuck with the square arms and not the rounded arms. Definitely didn't do your homework. Sorry you didnt like it

      this is like a year later but anyway, my family has had a sactional for 5-6 years now, and it’s been so convenient for us. our home flooded a few years ago and the couch covers we had weren’t being sold anymore, so we just washed them. the pieces were easy to move upstairs and the ones we didn’t move, we replaced. we have movie nights every once in a while and we can reshape the couch which is nice. if we don’t want a big couch in the living room we can just move pieces upstairs and make a loveseat there. it’s really convenient for us and comfortable too

    So me and my wife have wanted one of these couches for close to 10 years. We bought a lovesac bean bag about 15 years ago and it was a excellent purchase but it was just a pain to move and fluff all the time. Overall we were happy with it but we ended up giving it to my niece. About 4 years ago we looked into these sactionals pretty seriously and i just couldn't justify the price and we went with a cheaper couch. It was a huge mistake and ended up being junk and once again looked into the sactionals. We finally just pulled the trigger on black friday. 30% off plus 5% off for military discount and the set up we bought was still 6k. I honestly think any couch over 4k is just insane. It was a very hard pill to swallow.
    We have had it for a couple days now. I thought set up was easy just a little time consuming. It was nice having it delivered to our doorstep and honestly i liked how easy it was moving it into the house. Its much easier than moving a full size couch through doors and one person can move any piece of it around pretty easy which is huge in my opinion. These couches are expensive but they are very good quality. Its all high quality plywood construction and its an extremely solid couch. We got the standard fill and i honestly dont see it losing form anytime soon and we went with velvet covers and they also seem like high quality. We did the standard seating but the couch is in the shape of a U and we have a ottoman in the center. I think its plenty comfortable so far.
    Is it worth the price? We haven't had it long so its really hard to answer. I would say probably not but everything is overpriced now so what are you gonna do. What I do think is awesome though is being able to take it apart and clean it completely. You can also build it however you want obviously and add on if you want. With kids and pets you really cant beat it, also being able to replace anything if it gets ruined is huge. Its a high quality couch probably overpriced a little bit but you get what you pay for. Whatever you do decide on i recommend doing alot of research and dont go cheap. There is alot of cheap furniture out there. Its either go cheap and get a few years out of a couch or go with good quality and get something that will actually last. I have no doubt that the lovesac sactional will be at least a 10 year couch for us. Dont buy junk you will pay more in the long run like we did. I think she made the right choice returning it though if she wasn't happy with it though. You're paying alot of money and you should be happy with it. So far we are happy and if it doesn't fall apart like our other couch then i think we did alright.

    Thank you -- yes very helpful! I had gone back and forth with investing in a Lovesac sectional, but every time I filled up my cart online something would make me go back and look through the gallery, and, yes, some of those sectionals looked "slouchy" -- requiring the pillow fluffy thing you have mentioned. I, also, thought that would be just too much to have to do at the cost of my cart. I have suffered through with couches, in the past, that constantly looked slouchy and required constant fluffing. I am not furnishing a forever/retirement home. I just wanted something aesthetic pleasing to my eyes and worn well (washable covers, replaceable parts, easy to reconfigure). I went with something far less expensive, but in the back of my mind there was still that "what if I had gone with the Lovesac sectional.....?" Again, thank you. I am at rest.

    I absolutely love my LoveSac Sactional I to use them in only the deep configurations because that is much more comfortable! I don't know what you're talkin about by losing half your configurations every configuration can be done in deep as well you might need one deep side in order to get them in those configurations though which they sell at the same price as the regular size side !!! as far as needing a separate cover for the back pillows for use in the deep configuration that's not true at all. If you fluff your pillows right they all fit just nicely in the deep configuration!
    In terms of fabric and covers I went with fur and leather which I think is the smarter option because you don't have any of the pilling or sticking issues

My store rep told me about me deep back pillows and suggested I wait and see how feel and they would honor my original sale discount(free covers) if I wanted to get them later. They also told me about the fluffing with the Lovesoft. They also told me about the poly linen peeling. I did have the same problem with the seats not lining up however I called the sales rep and I set it up wrong and that’s why it messed up. I got a shoe map and it’s all perfect now. I did brake a base moving and they sent me a new one in a week. I’ve sent both my parents and 2 of my friend and only one of us had a bad experience and it was moms fault but the store still worked with her. I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. Although I found this review honest (from Miss Annie’s perspective, at least), it seems to me that a lot of people think the price of this furniture is outrageously astronomical and therefore hold it to a ridiculous standard.
    Do I think Sactionals are affordable and easy on the average person’s budget? NO.
    Do I think Sactionals could be a reasonable investment and that they could provide value to a family/home that exceeds the price tag? YES.
    Most of us have spent our lives buying economical/cheap furniture because: 1) It is what we could afford at the time, 2) We have children/pets and/or a messy partner, 3) We know we are going to want to rearrange and change the room and its decor.
    Because Sactional pieces can be moved and the covers changed completely, there is value in the versatility.
    Because the covers can be removed and cleaned, there is value from the protection of any ‘oops’ moments from the more feral members of the family.
    If Sactionals truly have a lifetime guarantee and a customer finds them comfortable and supportive, then I feel the cost is an investment that pays off in the long run.
    On a side note…I purchased a leather sectional ON SALE from Bassett Furniture for $3000 about 4 years ago. (Original price was over $12,000. 🤢)
    That sectional was perfect for me and my doggies at the time and it is well made.
    Now, I wish I could change the living room but there is literally no other option for the placement of the sectional, and the 1 dog I have left has mangled the leather arms with her nails due to dementia and her freak-outs.
    Now, obviously, my situation will not apply to everyone else’s circumstances. I just wanted to say that I sure wish I could at least fix the arms on my couch, even if I can never have the option to move it around for a new look.

    I went into a Lovesac store today and asked a million questions about this sectional. Your review is great to help mull things over. You mentioned the sloppiness of the cushions. When I went in today, they had a firmer cushion and their "down substitute" cushion (which is softer). Which did you get? I'm guessing that might make a significant difference in terms of needing to puff up and position the cushions frequently.

    Thank you SO much for taking the time to make this video. I just got back from Costco where they're doing a limited opportunity sale. The sales woman was great at showing me the basics in a limited amount of time. (my personal need) I was quite impressed, even thinking about how quickly I could sell my leather, power recliner sofa, which I've had a few years now and really don't like it at all. I found all your reasons to be helpful as I hadn't even thought of some of the issues you brought up. So I won't be making this expensive almost impulse buy this weekend!! One other thing I'll say about your video is that you are very clearly stating it's just your own experience and observation, and you're saying it can be a good purchase for the some people. It prevents the video from being totally negative and critical. You present a valid critique with a positive vibe. ;-)

    We have had our Love Sac sofa for 4 years and I 1000% agree with this review. We have the same fabric, although different color. The fabric has not held up well at all. It looks worn and pilled. The cushions are also not the quality we expected. The most-used back cushions have flattened like they don’t have enough fill. The seat cushions in the places we sit the most feel flat. It has to be set up in the deep configuration to be comfortable. Standard depth is too shallow, but for some reason did not feel that way on the floor model in store. This is a great review. It is exactly our experience. We feel that the quality our sofa does not match the very high price we paid.

    I have never experienced this couch in person, but after watching your video one thing I'd like to mention is your gripes with the base attachment. The reason it sags when not connected into the base is because of your carpet. On a tile or wood floor you wouldn't have this issue, and I imagine in store it's on a level hard surface such as this. However, the smaller legs surface area contains more weight per square inch vs the connecting wood blocks, therefore more pressure is pushed into the carpet causing the carpet to condense further than carpet underneath the wood connector piece. This is why you're seeing the couch sag with the regular base and not on the wood connector, as the wood connector has a far larger surface area able to spread the weight of the couch across your carpet far more evenly. In my opinion that's less of the couches fault and more of the surface it's on. You even show that you put a long wood piece underneath the leg, which helps spread the weight over a larger surface area creating less sag. I figured this all out via common sense just watching your video, though I do understand your desire to want a perfect couch for the price, their modular design and physics can't be cheated.

    • @jimgarrett1433
      @jimgarrett1433 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I forgot to add that to my comment. You are exactly right and what I was thinking. I don't have this issue on my hardwood floor, but a nice pile carpet like she has may take months to compress until both arms match.

    • @MaverickJ3W
      @MaverickJ3W 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Jim Garrett for sure different pile types in different styles of carpet will also have an effect with the amount of sag the carpet has. Like a shag carpet may sag more than a carpet with shorter pile height. But she complains about this sag, which should have been expected and noticed with any kind of couch with feet like this. I just don't understand how you can fault the couches design for your carpet choices, or the fact that she's not using the same base at every spot. She needs to have uniformity so there's no sag. Throw another connector wood block on the last foot even if it's not connecting to another couch piece, and don't blame the manufacturer for using the couch the way it wasn't intended.

    Hello! When you switched to deep seat, did you only have to get the deep side? or did you have to get new pillows as well?

    • @MissAnnieB

      Honestly I can't remember at this point - I think the sides work fine universally, but we had to get a couple different back cushions to have it with the deep seating if I remember correctly.

    Thank you for your honest and thorough review. My wife and I are looking for a couch to fit in our first cabin (302 ft²). We will be going to the nearest city in a few weeks to visit the lovesac store and look at the sectionals. We are not sold on them yet but have always wanted a lovesac since we were both in our teens when they first came out.
    My wife loves to sit with her legs curled up and to snuggle so deep cushions are a must for us. We will just have to check them out in person to get a better visual and feel for them to see if they fit our needs. Your review gave us both a lot to think about and look for when we go to the store. I greatly appreciate it.
    I am the one designing the interior layout of our cabin to finish building it out. So I am very mindful of space needs and functionality along with the aesthetic look we both have discussed wanting.

I have one and I love it and don't have any of the issues she has and a lot of the issues she had can be corrected with the right LoveSac Sactional hardware and fabric that she didn't maybe know they had. She was also supposed to put a shoe on every base and she didn't. That's why it's uneven. You either use shoes on all the bases or no shoes at all. I was told that at the store.

    9:45 The seat sags due to the carpet. The base allows greater distribution on the seat weight of the block and not into the carpet. This would not be a problem on hardwood floors.

      I ended up with a Chesterfield sofa from Pottery Barn. I got it during one of their bigger sales. I am overall happy with it because you don't have to fluff back cushions, but the seat cushions are starting to look a bit worn after only like 3 years, which is unfortunate.

    I’m in the process of returning our Sactional. You’re right that the return process is lacking. They requested boxes to be sent to my house but I haven’t yet received a confirmation email, tracking #, etc. I shot them an email and will call them later today. It’s been 6 days with no communication and I want to make sure I gets my refund because lordyyy is it expensive. I was so disappointed with the comfort level. And yeah, the back cushions don’t hold well. How are the store models just so different? Lol

    I'm 64 female and disabled. I was thinking of this Because you can wash the cover. As for the cost, assembling then disassembling it when I can just call a steam cleaner to do it for me...Yeahhh no. This convince me not to purchase it. Physically I would not be able to. I had a new couch but moved to Houston the movers didn't want to do their job. had to pay someone to make my couch disappear. This is the second video I saw and both talk about assembling it! This is like Swedish furniture! Thank you for your video!

    I got one of these a few years ago and got standard fill..is it just me or is this couch like sitting at a 90 degree angle no matter how you organize it? I think the back pillows are just way too firm and I can never get comfortable. Pretty sure the one I sat on in the store was the filling that was 4x the price. I was hoping someone had a solution. Deep seating may be what I should do but I’d hate to buy additional sides just to change that around. Is there a work around without changing the sides? Can I rip some filling out if the back pillows or is that a really bad idea lol? I don’t even use the back pillows that came with. I put some throw pillows on it in shallow mode or use nothing at all and it’s more comfortable than the ones provided which is quite sad considering the price. Good review.

    But think about it like this, if any peice breaks, gets a hole, or rips, you can just replace that peice, you can wash the covers if they get stains or if they get permanent stains, you can just buy a new cover for that peice, and you can get different colors and rearrange it so you’ll never get board with the shape, style, or color. Sacrional couches can last forever, you can have it for 100 years and pass it down to your family and in 300 years 80% of the original pieces will still be used. If you buy a regular couch and you spill wine on it or part of it rips, you’ll be screwed and you’ll have to buy a new one, if you get board with the color, style, or shape, then your stuck with it forever

    I'm looking at a lovesac to replace my 1998 built lazyboy sectional (i've owned it the whole time). I have super high expectations at this price point. Just the fabric concern alone is driving me nuts as the fabric on my lazyboy is still in such good shape absolutely no tears and only limited fading. Thanks for posting this review - very helpful!

    i appreciate your honesty. my sactional is currently priced at over $8000 with no sale going on and i love that shell color on yours but i do have 2 boys and a golden retriever and wouldve been extremely unhappy if i ordered similar to what you have and had all of the same issues. im very much of the same mindset when it comes to spending "top dollar" for items and expecting the quality to match its price. the 2 things i can see being an a con for me is the fabric issues and the seat depth. i am looking for a deep depth but during the customizing part, i didnt see any options for deep depth. is deep depth an option or a whole different couch?

    • @christinagiannone7012
      @christinagiannone7012 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Deep depth is how you rotate the bases. The backs and back cushions are different lengths as well to match. If you have a store nearby, go in and see it.
      We ordered the chenille and I love it! Plus, they have a 4th of July sale rn. It’s very nicely discounted.
      The time it takes to dress each piece is not that involved. My young girls each dressed one while I dressed another one. The covers fit nicely. Good and snug! We did not get the soft fill- just standard! We love it!

    What was your experience with returning the sofa? Was customer service easy to work with? Did you have to fit it all back in the original boxes? I just ordered this exact sofa- fabric and all. Hoping we will like it enough to keep it, but wondering about the return process just in case.

    • @MissAnnieB
      @MissAnnieB  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The overall return process wasn't bad - no one tried to change my mind or fight me on it. My biggest gripe was it took forever to get my sales rep to finalize things and get the boxes dropped off and everything picked up - it was a lot of time coordination and follow up calls. They dropped off new boxes because we had already recycled the original ones. Taking everything apart and putting into the boxes was TERRIBLE; probably took like 2 hours. I sure hope yours ends up working out! 💙

    • @tonyw4026
      @tonyw4026 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They take FOREVER to send you the boxes. Dealing with the "corporate office" is a joke. Everything is done at the store level and corporate takes their time to send anything out--they sent me one shipping label for 9 boxes (FedEx showed up and couldn't take the return). It took 2 more days to get the right labels. But, above all else, the quality of this highly expensive sofa is subpar. Big Lots has better stuff--I wish I was joking.

    THANK YOU so much for this review. You had most of the same concerns I did and have and I will not be buying this sectional as it'd not the fit for me. I wanted to overlook these shortcomings because of so many of the great benefits that other sections don't have, but they will def annoy me as well, esp at this cost!
    Would love if you or anyone else has ever found a sectional that is 1) deep 2) keep it's shape (looks good and clean) 3) machine washable 4) has storage 5) modular ???? If so, please do tell! Thanks again.

    I appreciate your take on this and the follow-up you posted. I think it is important to note that the store has large samples of most fabrics, so you can get a feeling for what the covers might actually be like. I also had a problem with you blaming the store staff for not reading your mind and realizing that you may want to change the couch to a deep seating arrangement. I did my full layout online and then took it in to the store with me. I had one portion set up for deep seating and the sales person verified that I needed one "deep back" to accommodate my layout. I don't think you should have blamed the sales person for you being fickle, these people aren't mind readers. With that said, I still believe the Sactional is the best seating system for someone who is fickle. I plan to move in the next year or two. The sactional comes with me and if the current layout doesn't work in the new house I will rearrange as necessary and even buy additional pieces as required. Best of all, if I want/need to change my color scheme, I can do that for a fraction of the cost of a new sectional.

    Let's start with I hardly ever post a comment on any social media, but after watching this one I need to say my peace. I totally understand that she is letting everyone know that this is just her opinion. It blows my mind the lack of research Miss Annie did prior to MAKING A BIG PURCHASE. Yes, it takes work to assemble. We have 7 seats and 7 sides and it took some time. But if you watch the how-to videos going in the assemble is not that difficult. Yes, is Lovesac expensive, but you get what you pay for. The craftsmanship and the design are excellent. The flexibility is off the charts especially if you plan on moving. You can wash the covers, re-order covers, seats, or sides to add to the layout with life guarantees. We configured our Sactional in the deep seating arrangement. We called and talked to customer service before ordering and we were given the option to order deep seating pillow back cushions (Need to order over the phone or in-store for this option). Lovesac allows you to customize the order so you DO NOT need to order extra covers. To complain about tailoring the Sactional indicates the lack of research. I can go on and on..
