⭐ VIDEO Description ⭐
Driver side window was left down in the rain for multiple hours. All windows in vehicle did not work, except for passenger front. This issue is now fixed. If this ever happens to you in the rain, to get the windows to go up. all you have to do is take the key out of the key fob remote. put the key in the driver side door key hole and turn it counter-clockwise and hold until the windows go up.

OMG dude, you just saved me 180$ thank you so much. I followed all your steps except the blow dryer part. cleaned it up with alcohol and a paper towel ( both sides ) mine didn't look wet at all but im sure a bit of rain got in after a horrible storm we had and i like to drive with my window slightly open water might of seep through !!!. i had lights on the switch but the buttons would not open or close my windows i though it was a fuse at first fuse 21 or 27 for me it was 21 and it looked fine.. i said fuck it let me search on youtube and because of you its fixed!!!
Lol, I know what you mean. I'm so happy that I could actually help someone in this predicament. When it happened to us I was like oh my God the windows don't work I'm going to have to take it to BMW for them to charge me an arm and a leg. But it ended up being a simple fix. TH-cam DIY for life. Lol

Be careful drying with a heat gun or a hair dryer. You will melt the solder. This is actually a trick to fixing bad (cold solder) joints but you must not over do the heat. Pieces will literally fall out the circuit board.

The big IC chip had some corrosion around the pins, so i flushed it with peroxide, alcohol, and then compressed air.
You should have recorded that that would have been great to see. I'm Glad my video helped you out.

On the passenger side under the glove compartment
So what have you done??? Just showing us how to disassemble and reassemble??
About 6:45 almost in the middle of the video is where I explain what I did to fix it. It wasn't terribly complicated so it didn't really take me long to explain. I didn't haft to soldering or anything just dry off the board.
I also show you the exact spot where the water was still sitting on the board

evening and today everything is working on its own

surely the mirror motor had moisture
@@qenzxy it probably did have moisture in it. I'm glad that you solved your problem. Sometimes disconnecting the connector for power and reconnecting it establishes the connection sometimes they get corroded water can do that.
