Really nice trick. But if we fill line that much while tightenened , the reel will overfill after casting and reeling in. As there wont be that amount of tention which we apply while feeding the new line. What do you think.

I have a question, I just got my first baitcaster and spooled it with 12 lb fluorocarbon (as main line with no other line involved), but people tell me fluorocarbon should be used as a leader like and to use monofilament instead. Will I still be able to fish normally? Thank you so much!
Yes you will be fine. I do use fluorocarbon as a leader but I also spool baitcasters with it completely. No problems, it is a definite no go on a spinning reel though, just use braid with a flouro leader in that situation.
@@MrReischable I have not found a brand of fluorocarbon that has performed well for me on a spinning reel. I think fluorocarbon has the worst line memory and I just struggle managing it without issues. Also once I got used to using a leader to braid it has proven to be way more effective for me. To each their own but it doesn’t seem to work for me.
@@blake_229 once you learn, braid and fluorocarbon work fine. I like Berkley XL, 12-14 lb for learning and if you have to cut it all off it cost about a dollar to replace.
That’s a good reel. It should be plenty to fill the reel. I will say that 20lb braid is very thin and might cause some headaches on a bait caster. The other thing with braid is that when you tie the line to the spool put about a 1” piece of tape over the know on the spool or put 20 yards or so of monofilament line on first and then tie your braid to that. Braid tied to a spool without either of these methods will slip on the spool. Good luck out there!
Kewl. I usually go in one hole, out another, and back in another hole and come out where you first went in then tie a uni knot. After you pull it tight the knot will be inside the spool and out of the way👍

Loosen up the tension knob, should be near your crank handle. Loosen it until you can open your bail and your lure can hit the ground without much of a backlash, you can adjust it to each bait size, then you can loosen it further as you get more comfortable. If you look back through my channel I have a few videos on using and adjusting baitcasters.
