  • In this video you will learn useful voice commands for your Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S, and Model X. These functions eliminate the need to use the touchscreen and make navigating the Tesla even easier. Tesla voice command works on the 2021 Tesla model 3 as well as all other models although some functions may slightly vary.

I just got my Model 3 yesterday in Denver. I live in Colorado Springs. We had a ton of snow over the past several days. Yesterday was the first warm day. The roads were super wet, and I was receiving a lot of splash onto the windshield. I had to pull over to figure out how to activate the wipers. Voice Command for this action is a game changer for me. I feel so out of place in my Tesla but I'm sure ill get used to it. I drive for Uber so I'll have plenty of time to become an expert. Thank you for these tutorials.

I cannot wait for the day until I can tell a Tesla to take me home. What what's going to be nice about it is in order for me to talk to it I would have to press a button! And once I do that? It will take me right to my front door.

It's easier to "speak Tesla." "Wipers level one." "Make it warmer". I think I use wiper commands more than any other, but I live in a rainy climate. "Navigate to supercharger" is a really common one too. But totally agree, voice commands are the key to a seamless Tesla experience. (I'm a newbie, just 2 months in a new Y, but despite being an old fart (71), this all seems pretty natrual to me. Oddly, controlling the headlights yields "that feature is not yet available" WTH?

Let me tell you and everyone else. I have 2021 Model X Long Range. The voice control is a hit-and-miss type of situation. "Too hot" it does not do anything sometimes when it is supposed to turn on AC automatically or increase fan speed and Max out the AC for me. "Go Home" It sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. The navigation just sometimes fails to load automatically when I say "Go Home". Tesla needs to focus on making its voice command more reliable. Period. My co-workers who has just received his new Model Y Performance also finds the same hit-and-miss situation with Tesla's voice command. Good luck. Hope Elon spends more time on the company and its products instead of going back and forth with Twitter.

I'm not sure how useful these voice commands are when you are with a bunch of people in car talking.

Thanks for the informative video. But if you want to do this youtubing as a professional you need to get rid of the teenage-speak, vocal pause distraction. Watch your own video and count how many times you say "like." This is constructive criticism meant to help you. If you are wise you will take it as such.
