Ford has officially announced the possibility of a 4-door variant, which would make the Mustang similar to the Bronco as both were originally 2-door-only and then they get a 4-door variant in the 2020s. If a 4-door EcoBoost enters production, it would be an ideal taxi and the GT would be an ideal police car.
Bruh I really wish they had a power recline so the memory settings you can make a selection for getting people in and out of the back seat do use the backseat a lot and I really wish the recline was powered its hella annoying in a car of this price to not. My 2020 Eco and my 21 GT/CS do not have it. Shocked they didn't add it in on the S650.
I am just torn between this and a GT, I love the GT but I can only barely afford a base model, the price is pushing it tbh. If I got the ecoboost I could get more features I want as well as the better mileage. It's just such a difficult decision. All practicality says ecoboost but the GT.. it's just a big want.
Yeah definitely a toss up! Have you considered a used GT Premium? Something with maybe 20k miles on it would be a good price point with the V8 and all the options. Or just wait a year till these are on the used market
So the rebadged S550 is now $32,000. The car is no longer sub $30k. The outgoing base model (with no options) with the 10 speed auto, was around $28,500ish. For $4k more you get, front and rear bumpers revised, along with the trunk & tail light revised. A flat bottom steering wheel, 2 iPads for your instrument panel and audio unit (separate or as 1 while unit depend on model or options), 5 extra hp, and a 1/2 more in the fuel cell. And all of this, before you option out the car. Nah. To me, this is just the design team being lazy and charging you, us, the consumers more for not that much design appeal. Time will tell if the mechanical side of things have fixed the issues with the 2.3. From leaking head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, timing cover gaskets, purge valves and oil cooler lines. I will say though…. The new 0-60 times and the new top speed as opposed to the outgoing version (and for me) the extra 1/2 gallon you get for a new fuel cell, is impressive. Ford should have done that on the outgoing model. To me, this “new” car is worthy of having a Ford Performance badge under the hood. The mechanical part of this car I have no issue with. It’s just the design I take issue with. And I can speak on this because I had a 2019 Ford Mustang eco-boost. Original owner. If Ford would have kept the S550 design both inside and out and gave us the goodies under the hood like what you get now in the ‘24’s for $32k, I would have traded in my ‘19. Hell, you could have even thrown in the flat bottom steering wheel.
Click the button on the key fob. If you want to lock the car, click the lock icon. If you want to unlock, click the unlock. For remote start lock the car and double tap on the start button
Well I state the MSRP in the first 30 seconds of the video. However worth would really be determined by the buyer. If you think it's worth MSRP, you buy it. If you think it's worth less you'll wait for a used one to get to the price you feel it's worth before buying
It's crazy how far 4 cylinder engines have come, like this has 5 less hp than a stock mk4 supra and significantly cheaper than one, thats why im eyeballing this car
Having a screen somehow looks cheaper and tackier than having proper gauges for the speedometer and tachometer. Also a shame that the environmental controls are in the touch screen. I guess that's how they keep the price of this car down.
That's not all new. The same as outgoing Gen6 mustang. The same chassis The same suspension designed The same wheelbase The same both manual and auto tranny Just a few changes front end to back end including the interior. Get your info right dude
It's still the 'new' generation. Obviously there is a lot of carry over. But this is called the S650 while the previous one was the S550. This is the new Mustang weather or not everything is all new. Same for the Nissan Z. Basically a 370Z underneath, however its the 'all new' Z.

I’d say overall yes they’d be a solid car. Not too sure how well they hold up past 100k. But should a fun car and easy to own
Bruh I really wish they had a power recline so the memory settings you can make a selection for getting people in and out of the back seat do use the backseat a lot and I really wish the recline was powered its hella annoying in a car of this price to not. My 2020 Eco and my 21 GT/CS do not have it. Shocked they didn't add it in on the S650.
Yeah that'd be nice for sure!
Thanks for sharing, just depends on what the buyer will enjoy.
Is this stock exhaust?
Yes. Brand new car at the dealer
Does it have remote start?
I think that's available
does the ecboost not have the exaust option?
I believe that is a stand alone option. I don't think remote rev is
Super nice #FordMustang 🏁
Yeah new Mustang is pretty cool!
Is the color raspberry red?
I say the color in the first 30 seconds. Can't remember off the top of my head
how do you start using the remove fob?
Click the button on the key fob. If you want to lock the car, click the lock icon. If you want to unlock, click the unlock. For remote start lock the car and double tap on the start button
@@BrosFOURRSpeed i don’t have start button on my keys
@@devrajbasnet6598 Then just use the normal buttons to do their operations.
Makes no sense to remove paddle shifter except for HPP mustangs 😢
Yea interesting to see.
Is that a BMW F02 key fob?
No, it’s a ford key fob.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Its shape looks like an early 2010s BMW car.
If my buddy bought this, that would be the last day of our friendship. Four cylinders seriously?
Wow, seems harsh…let people buy what they will enjoy..
How much is it worth?
Well I state the MSRP in the first 30 seconds of the video.
However worth would really be determined by the buyer. If you think it's worth MSRP, you buy it. If you think it's worth less you'll wait for a used one to get to the price you feel it's worth before buying
@@BrosFOURRSpeed OK, got it. Thanks for the tip
It's crazy how far 4 cylinder engines have come, like this has 5 less hp than a stock mk4 supra and significantly cheaper than one, thats why im eyeballing this car
Yea really! Pretty peppy car!
Having a screen somehow looks cheaper and tackier than having proper gauges for the speedometer and tachometer. Also a shame that the environmental controls are in the touch screen. I guess that's how they keep the price of this car down.
In person the screen actually looks good. But yeah I like physical controls better too
Top speed??
around 150
I really hate those screens for your data…
I think it’s a nice upgrade! Much easier to use.
No paddle shifters? What the hell
I believe that’s an option with the performance package only on EcoBoost, I’m filming some more models tmrw, we’ll see if one has them!
soubd system????
I’m sure it’s good. I didn’t listen to it tho
Mite as well buy a older v8
Depends on what you want. It’d probably be a higher mileage car for $36k tho. S650 is definitely interior. So just depends on what buyers want
Today’s 4 cylinder mustang is faster than most V8 mustangs up to like 2012.
@@aptkeyboard3173 very true! Not a bad option these days. And a tune makes these push 400 HP
@aptkeyboard3173 By older I meant 17-20 and yea it mite be faster but at least owners get to hear nice v8 sound .
@@Tubamaster2292010 True too. Good thing there are plenty of options for people to get what works best for them
That's not all new. The same as outgoing Gen6 mustang.
The same chassis
The same suspension designed
The same wheelbase
The same both manual and auto tranny
Just a few changes front end to back end including the interior.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Well at the end of the day it’s still the same car. Just a few changes.
All new means.! All new not carryover from last generation. All new means every nooks and crannies of the car.
I mean, he doesn't engineer, manufacture, market, or invest in this platform. It's all Ford. Go submit a complaint with them if you feel inclined to do so.
He said 35k and plastic
ok?
damn i really dont like that boxy ass screen as the gage cluster, that looks poo poo
In person it actually looks pretty nice
Waste your money, my friend get a 5 litre Mustang GT and see the difference 😂
Depends on what the buyer wants.
Ecoboost Mustang? Screw that. Get a base GT with a Supercharger! And a manual!
Depends on what the buyer wants.
If there are no paddles the auto is worthless.
Yeah crazy to see that!
The dash is ugly as hell. Those iPad like screens are terrible. Why have a space between the screens?
In person it's pretty nice to be honest. It doesnt feel like tablets stuck on
Would'nt a classic V8 Mustang be less expensive than this four cylinder? And have less plastic parts lol
Probably not, but I haven’t viewed that market. Not everyone wants an old classic..
Ok listen… it hurts we cry pull .9 ok back…
huh?
Buying a ecoboost muscle car is like buying fake designer 🤣
Just depends on what the buyer wants.
Rental fleet car
This felt nicer then that! But I'm sure this spec will pop up in some fleets!
36k for a base mustang, tripping
Actual base price is about $30k. This one had a few options
