- How to install / replace a Toilet Seat in under 5 mins. This particular one was purchased from Bunnings for around $20. The process for other brands would be similar if not the exact same.
Tools needed:
Allen key (which should be provided with toilet seat)

I Have a link system and need to change seat to family seat with built in toddler seat. From days of searching on web was convinced I couldn’t change it as family seats are only “O” or “D” style. Then seen a review on Bunnings recommending this video to help install. Now I know I can do it easy as. And also can get a pipe hider!!

My only irritation is that you knew straight away the fitting was too big to do a top fitting! Whereas I spent an hour last night trying to make that fitting work with a different seat model. Thankfully Bunnings were very understanding and accepted my return. Wahoo, we have a toilet seat again! 😉🤣

Where abouts did you get them parts? Ive got a soft close toilet seat, to replace what i have, but its not a closed fixture toilet, so id need the same bolt, washers and rubber plug you used. Did you get them from bunnings? Thanks
Everything came in the pack with the toilet seat & was from Bunnings.

You did not need to replace the seat
Was it broken? No.
However, it was changed as a soft close seat was required.
