Thank you, this helped me install our new seat!!
You’re welcome. Fantastic to hear it was helpful
Thank you ❤
You’re very welcome
Thank you! I was convinced I had the wrong size seat, your tutorial made it so easy! Who needs a handyman hey 😊
It's fall down again and again what should we do
Has someone been moving it without first loosening it? Kids maybe?
Thank you! I just finished installing mine thanks to your video
That’s awesome, happy to help
Do i have to turn my water off
I recommend it, just in case
Excellent tutorial covering the key requirement of how to install the Estilo Cistern holding bracket which is sadly not detailed in the Instruction Sheet supplied with this great little unit.
Yes the instructions are pretty vague, lucky you found my video! Thanks
What did you use to cut the holes?
Used a circular saw
Do you think i could get those shelves in b&q
Sorry I’m not sure. We don’t have B&Q in Australia as far as I’m aware
Love the lefty loosely and righty tighty! Do you need plumbers tape? I unscrewed the end of the head to put a filter in now its floppy as!
It’s recommended for use with most threaded connections that don't have a built-in rubber seal. It also helps lubricate the connection, making the threading a bit smoother, and it helps prevent pipes from sticking when you want to disassemble the joint.
Thx dog this is super helpful.
You’re welcome
Thank you thank you 🙏
You’re very welcome
How many hours did this take you to install from start to finish?
Was 2 years ago sorry I can’t recall. Also when I’m filming it takes a lot longer than normal.
Mean bro
Thank you for this easy guide. It's amazing how simple - and how much can be saved by DIY.
You’re very welcome. Definitely, also it can give you great satisfaction when you DIY
thanks for confirming that sarking needs to be cut out.
Nice video! I am wondering what did you use (plugs and screws) for anchoring the suspension rails to the walls? I am doing something similar and I have no idea how big they should be 😅
Hey mate, it’s all detailed in the video.
Impressive. What about start-stop system? Original battery is ISS type that means it is an EFB battery. This one is not EFB if i am not mistaken. Standard batteries cannot support ISS system and battery management does not handle (I mean charging the battery) well the normal, not EFB battery. Does this battery work for you in long term? Is it still good? thanx.
This is a great video clear informative instructions
Thank you, I hope it was of some help
7mm is better for the drill bit
God Bless You Brother
Happy to help
Thanks mate. Anyone have ideas on how to hide wires if you cannot hide them in the actual wall? In a rental & there's a bracket here which I'm excited about but don't want messy wires hanging out
Bunnings sell some stuff that might work. Search their website for Cable Management Cover or Trunking
Whay ta go Mate😉
FYI , in the facelifted 24.. There's no extraholes in that plate anymore, The original bolt can be replaced with a M6 , One behind / below the rollershutter is gone. Ones running horizontal along the tray are M8 bolts.
Thanks for the info
Is there a reason you have to do it to a max of 7cm?
It’s in the instructions. Might have to do with child safety.
These videos are clear, concise and very informative. Thank you.
Thanks for the kind words, I’m happy to help
i go thru these shower heads every few months. Ive just bought a completely new system. In a rental and im sick of these heads
Perfect mate
👍
Wouldn't rain get through the vanes?
No, the design prevents that
I don’t know why they didn’t just have 4 in them already ?
Right?!
1. Highly recommend video. 2. This seat has variable fittings which is ideal for inexperienced DIY-ers! -------- Thanks for video, @Project Lex I saw your note on Bunnings website! --------- Okay, done in 20 mins! My only irritation is that you knew straight away the fitting was too big to do a top fitting! Whereas I spent an hour last night trying to make that fitting work with a different seat model. Thankfully Bunnings were very understanding and accepted my return. Wahoo, we have a toilet seat again! 😉🤣 SUBSCRIBED and will check out your other videos! Make sure you keep noting your vids on Bunnings reviews as that's where I found it and I really appreciated it! Cheers 🍻
Thank you very much for the feedback. Always good to know how people find me. I have been MIA recently due to family commitments but will be back posting again soon.
Great help!!
Happy to help
Attic fan installation
Dragonball Z!!!
Did you have to pre drill holes in your garage door?
Not with those screws, they are designed to be screwed straight into metal with no issues
Thanks for making this clip, I was wondering how difficult these were to fit, I have 4 windows in my shed I want to do. 👍
You’re very welcome
I will replace mine on Thursday. I have 3 toilets however 1 cistern is broken so I have to replace it. I am in Toowoomba from Sunday to Wednesday and tomorrow is Good Friday so the hardware shops are all closed. And I have Kenmore Village all day Saturday to see the Schindler 5400 AP MRL (Lifts) so I will replace the cistern on Thursday
Hi, informative video, thanks. I recently purchased a 2024 Isuzu Dmax and the salesman advised against connecting a battery maintainer (such as Noco) to the battery while still connected to the vehicle. Any thoughts on this?
I did a google search & that doesn’t seem to be an issue
Thanks!
Thanks for the video, just what I’ve been looking for, looks like we have very similar windows. Can I please ask how big of a gap you have between your window sash and the upstand in the frame and how far you needed to pack out? I have approx 10-11mm gap so I’m unsure if this lock would be suitable. Thanks
Hi. My gap was around 10mm
@@projectlex thanks for getting back to me, did you only need the single 5mm packer?
@trenyboy01 yes only the 1 packer
Thanks mate! Much appreciated 💪
You’re very welcome
Hello Project Lex and thanks for your tips on adding new tie down points. Just wondering what type of bolts and how i remove them on the plastic casing which you mentioned towards the end of your video, that you could replace with 6mm eye bolt 64mm long. I’m just not sure how to remove the existing bolts. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers
Hi. Just remove existing bolts with an allen key
Cheers, I’ll give that a go.
Great video .. quick question my tap won’t shut off fully ? Not sure why .. do you think if I change the tap 🚰 it may shut fully off thanks 🇦🇺
Great video...looks like I have a new project!
Cheers. Nice, have fun
I have leaks from the right side where you tighten it, can do do a video on how to fix that, I replaced the oring, but still leaks, I am doing something wrong :) Working on it. Thanks.
Could be a number of things, sorry couldn’t be of more help
Mine is not firm on the wall.. 😢 maybe the wall does not support the shelves?
Did you screw into a stud?
I have a window lock just like this and have pushed it in to lock it and now have missed placed they key! Any ideas instead of calling a locksmith?
Bummer, no sorry
@@projectlex thanks for taking the time to reply!
Not sure why you had to go underneath to fit the actual whirlybird vent ? Got it to the adjustable shaft then fit shaft with screws ?
Nice tutorial mate, thank you 👍
Thank you. You’re very welcome.
Great guide. Wonder if rain gets in easily given how open and permeable the vent is?
Thanks. It’s designed specifically so no water gets in
Must do this, thank you.
You’re very welcome
