I am a single woman in her 60s and have a little house that the previous owner did not take care of or keep up, so I am having to do it myself since income is very limited. I was able to takeoff the old plastic worn out toilet seat. The bolts that were tightened so tight that one of the underneath screws tabs broke which made it so difficult to loosen. It took me about an hour, a lot of swear words and some WD-40 to finally get that loose enough to where I could unscrew the bolts, but I did it, and the new wood slow closing lid is finally on and I am so proud of what I accomplished. I know it’s not much, but when you can’t kneel and your strength is limited, this is such a big fat hairy deal. 👏🍾🍷 Thank you again and I will be watching more of your videos.

Helpful! We recently moved and the toilet seat was loose and always moving towards the right. I thought we needed a whole new seat as I guessed the bolts/pins were stripped on the left side of the toilet. Nope, just needed to be tightened, and I couldn’t tighten from underneath as the nut was hitting the toilet and boy is it a tight area there. But a few turns on the top with a Phillips screwdriver and it’s firmly set now!
Never had to do this before, but your video was a big help in changing my girlfriend's seat! Easy tips with the visual demonstrations really helped out here!

You saved me I thought I bought the wrong kind of seat, I was cleaning my old seat and ended up cleaning alittle too hard and basically sanded thru the paint and was at partial wood, so I just got a new seat and thought this doesn’t look right. I dunno what I’d do without this video
