The 1x and is what I have, I the best snowblower I have ever used, starts up every time, clears snow amazingly, but I have 1 complaint, the wheels jam up with snow, and many people have said this in their reviews, I can’t exactly describe it, but I hope Cub Cadet will test their 1x snowblower and fix this issue.

Try coating the wheels and housing, virtually everything, with automotive ceramic spray coating. Try Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions ceramic spray. I coat not only by snowblower but all my snow shovels too with it. NOTHING STICKS!! It’s really amazing.

Anyone watching this not sure which suits your needs go for the 3X,you'll regret not getting it. I've owned my 26" 3X going on 7 years now.
