    The Cub Cadet 2X 30" MAX Snow Blower provides you with an effortless operating experience with a lot of power to cut through serious amounts of snow. This snow blower is rated for up to 23 inches of snow with a 30-inch clearing width and 21-inch intake height! This will cut through the massive drifts and throw the snow 40 feet.
    Since we lose a lot of daylight in the winter, the LED dual headlights help you to see easily at dusk or at night.
    This Cub Cadet 2X 30" Max Snow Blower has a 357 cc electric start Cub Cadet 4-cycle OHV engine. It is controlled by zero-turn posi-steer power steering that is controlled by levers on each heated handlebar. To aid in turning, the 16 in. x 6.5 in. X-TRAC tires provide solid traction in extreme weather conditions. Cub Cadet includes cool blue no rust, non-marking, reversible skid shoes so this can work on gravel or concrete.
    The Cub Cadet 2X 30" MAX Snow Blower has 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds.
    Starting the engine is easy with the push-button electric start that does not need a battery. You simply attach an extension cord and push a button.
    The Cub Cadet 2X 30" MAX Snow Blower has 3-year limited residential, 1-year limited commercial warranty.

    At 3:55, thanks for calling out the routing of the cables. I bought mine fully assembled from a box store and the auger cable was wrapped around the chute cable, auger would not disengage. An easy but dangerous mistake when pulling the handlebars up to position during assembly. Great video.

      You have to watch the model numbers, but if the model numbers match, yes they are the same quality. If you ever need service and don't want to be put on a waiting list, buy from a dealer, not a big box store.

    Brother , u undisputably have the best tool channel on yt. I am sooooo tired of watching some channels where the host doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground concerning tools. Your great at explaining the product and giving accurate pros and cons of each product that you review. I've never heard you say " this tool is the best" without even testing it. I don't need something like that snow blower that will swallow your neighbors volkswagen. What do u think about the ego snow blowers ? I live in central md and we don't get the snow that y'all get. I have plenty of ego batteries....mostly 5ah and 4 of newer 7.5ah batteries. Looking for some that will handle 10" of snow....your thoughts are appreciated. Great vid.

    • @WorkshopAddict

      I have posted this a few times in other comments. I have high hopes of doing some testing on an ice rink this year. they just closed Wednesday and I fear they will not open back up this winter. I did get in there with the ego a few weeks ago and it will not handle heavy snow at all. At 10" of snow it will push more snow than it throws. You have to take half passes to make it work half way decent with light snow. It ended up breaking after about 10 minutes in heavy snow. Look in the comments below and there is a guy linking to his video using the blower. He is sort of bragging about how well it works, but you will see in the video everything i am saying. The EGO is a No Go!

    One thing to note about 3-stage snowblowers, if you have one maybe you can comment, if you run them on light snow in a lower gear the induction accelerator will push the snow, instead of pulling it in to the auger and impeller. This is as designed and you should have it in a higher gear unless you are running into a huge 2 or 3 foot drift I would think. Overall these MTD machines seem to have really bad reviews but part of it is the buyer. More informed buyers are buying Honda, Toro and Ariens.
    Cub Cadet isn’t really a cheap brand though, neither is Troy-Bilt, both seem to be pretty solid product lines in my opinion. With a little bit of eduction and effort I don’t see too many issues with these products

    A little off topic but four years ago I got a Toro snow thrower from Home Depot in the spring for $89 I thought if it lasts a season great deal. It turned out to be the best deal ever it starts on first pull every time and while it only does 21" wide it chucks our Wet coast Canadian heavy snow 40 plus feet. Just because it looks like a piece of cheap shit it don't have to act like it

    What's your take on the fuel injected snow blowers? When I was shopping new snow blowers I Just couldn't bring myself to go that route.

    • @WorkshopAddict
      @WorkshopAddict  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love fuel injection for most things, but it has never worked well for me in outdoor power equipment. It is a lot of cash for it and if it breaks, it costs a lot to fix. Cleaning a carb is free for me and I run stabil in everything so I don't have to do it for a long time. Even the John Deere Z930M we just got we opted for the Carbed Kawasaki over the EFI Kohler.

    I can’t wait to see the testing.
