Asked my grandmother once why they didn't build the farmhouse farther from the road. She looked at me. Then quietly, "We had to shovel all that snow." OK
pretty much. set back from the road, like many other things, was, and is, a sign of wealth, whether it be the money to hire help or having the extra time to do it yourself.
None of these were steam powered rotary blowers pushed by coal fired steam locomotives. That's how you move snow. Search, Steam Train Rotary Snow Plow OY.
@@Boomer848848, it is amazing that you can determine the preferences of an entire nation from a single line of text from one person! In reality though I personally prefer the metric system. I could be wrong though.
Reverse-seated plowing, now that's a drag. Heavy snowfalls in the 21st century seem to become 'wet-pack' and then frozen again after the initial fall. I've always been curious as to why airports do not use the liquified salt-spray on airport runways.

UK will get a inch of snow and everyone panics think about the people who live in Sweeden and artic countries do you hear them complaining ?? .........nice one Lord Gizmo
The lake effect snow that the east coast of the US gets is insane. Buffalo, NY got 4ft of snow last Dec., and the record storm happened in 2001 that dumped nearly 7ft of snow.
The million dollar airport machines are awesome, but they are hardly the practical everyday road clearing machines people are looking for. How about more stuff that that fits Bucket loaders, skidsteers and excavators?
On the ATI snow wolfs blower you can clearly see Kahlbacher signs. So this seems to be a dealer or partner of Kahlbacher, at least for this specific machine.

3:03 did he just say 90kph ! That's the maximum speed allowed in the EU for a truck that size, not really appropriate to be ploughing at that speed & certainly not fuel efficient.
Cool machines. Unfortunately the units are to often wrong. The first machine with the tractor, the tractor has a max of 200hp and yard and meters are almost the same and not a difference of 3. That would be ft.
The background music was so awful he couldn't spend any time to edit, or include detail that would've made it more interesting. Miserable! I never want to waste my time with Lord Gizmo again!
Arctic Machine is from Finland.
They have factory to my hometown.
Factory and planning.
Que bonita 🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️ nieve 😊😊😊😊
Impressive machinery! Can't help but wonder about the fuel efficiency of these huge snow blowers.
Arctic Machine is a FINNISH company, not Swiss
Literally every statement is wrong in this video
0:53 did he just say a 600 horse power tractor ! Holy cow, that must be one hell of a big tractor !

Wow at 10:30. That's a way to clean a blower.
Note to narrator: at just past 1 minute you say the KFX-1150 has a working width of 250mm. It looks a lot wider than that. 😉
Looks at least half a giraffe wide to me. (Americans will do ANYTHING to avoid the metric system!)

Very nice
If stronger knives were installed, this machine could be used to dig canals for irrigation or drainage. And military trenches could also be dug.

So much to be had in the materialistic-realm we experience!
Canada gets like 7 feet of snow
Would have been nice if machine costs had been included and operating expenses.
A 1000 hp engine could burn 40+ gals of fuel per hour under load.
Impressive machines
I think we have the first one in Farming Simulator 22.

13:40 - What are the propellers for on the plow? I cannot think of a reason, unless it has too with the distribution of snow during the plowing.
I think this is to "loosen" the snow when the blower goes through high wet or frozen snow.
At least that's my theory.
