Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The quick answer is: about 50 degrees. Because the width of the space I have to work with is really tight (about 3.5 feet), this is the widest angle I could put them at. I used this site to then figure out how close I need to sit for this angle to be correct for accurate field of view: forum.reizastudios.com/threads/tutorial-fov-triple-screens-immersion.4009/ Here's all the numbers that are important when calculating the field of view for my specific setup: Monitor width including bezel: 615 (24.2) visible width excluding bezel: 597 (23.5) Diagonal across center and side screens: 985 (38.78) angle between center and side screens: 74, set to 51 viewing distance: 650 (25.6), set to 408 (16) field of view when driving: 166, set to 152 Let me know if you have more questions
@medurik I am debating what size triples to go with. Currently run the G9 with integrsted mount and advanced sim racing cockpit. So going to upgrwde to the integrated triple stand I think do it it being cheaper. Simlab has the 2 arms with vario vesa mounts for 150. Debsting on 32 or 27s. Running RTX4070TI with i9 12900k cpu. Not sure if 27 would be easier on gpu cpu combo
@@jcsquared1111 if you have the room I would go with the 32's. If you're planning on running them at the same resolution I don't think it will make any noticeable difference on computer power. Your setup should have plenty of power to run it. What I absolutely would suggest, if this is your first time getting into triples, is vesa adapter kits to fine tune the position of the monitors. I went months without this and never got the monitors to sit just right and flush, even on a professional triple monitor stand. I got these which finally allowed all 3 monitors to be level, flush and even sim-lab.eu/en-us/products/vario-vesa-adapter-kit-monitor-mounting-sim-racing?srsltid=AfmBOormoIf7R5jtrlYEFA85GR3lxL17qtXbHWq4ei4Ucz0Cm0fYmv3g
Go for 32". I went with 32 originally but upped them to 55" TCL tvs at 1440p. Works perfect. I'm not sure an integrated mount is the best for bigger monitors. I have the ASR6 for reference
@@Romad_20 I agree with going with 32"... I couldn't use them on my rig because I don't have the room. The angle that I would have to put the 32" monitor at so they would fit in my space would be too drastic for it to be usable. Because I'm in a tight space the 27" monitors are just fine and you get use to it right away.
Question what degree are the side monitors set at?
