- A United States Marine must fight for survival on a remote government facility that has gone dark after the outbreak of a strange parasitical life form not from this Earth....
The lone survivor must fight or hide from the decaying monsters that were once the facility's staff....and find a way out.

@@pvt.jonwallace they’re the primary antagonists of the Resistance series of games. Chimeras the term the game gives them as they’re Humans twisted and turned into foot soldiers or hulking brutes to fight and kill humans, or bring them to convergence centers to turn them into more Chimera.
Their lore is pretty awesome tbh.

@@yankeehussar3614 I was an xboxer, but damn did I not watch as many walkthroughs and playthroughs ass possible. When I finally got a palystation, wouldnt let me buy the third game, the only one I could purchase, unless I coughed up a subscription

The layout reminds me a lot of New Hope from Gears of War 2.

What weird pistol
The pistol is an M1911, exactly what you would expect for this time period. It's the assault rifle that's weird. Looks like some very heavily modified M14
