Needs to be bigger for larger boxes
pleasee you need to make a bigger and wider version of this because all of my packages are clothing and usually come in larger boxes!

I wonder if it's known what percentage of shipped packaged would fit in this parcel locker or even if the various delivery services or major vendors like Amazon even track statistics on parcel size. Ultimately, no matter what size they make this, there will be some packages too large for it. If you're not content with a parcel locker accepting most but not all your packages, build a screened or glassed in porch with a porch door that has something like an Amazon lock or a lock that can be left unlocked but would lock after the delivery man uses it.
Also, I'm waiting for some kids or disgruntled neighbour to put dog poop or something else annoying or dangerous into one of these, it would be a good idea to mount cameras around this thing.

Theres some comes lot bigger size but if you need very large make one buy some materials like plywood or anything else make your own parcel drop box

We agree, it is a great idea and problem solver for many people.
In America they leave it on your doorstep, in England they either put it with your neighbour and put a slip through your door saying who has it, or takes it back to the post office and you can pay to get it redelivered or pick it up for free

Not if you bolt it down.
It has an attachment at the bottom to bolt it down with so that you would have to unlock the storage compartment to access the bolt. The problem is that I don't think many people will have a contractor put in something to bolt it down to, I suppose you could dig a fence post hole in your flower bed or lawn, flared at the bottom and pour concrete in to bolt it to and surround it with a degraded granite pad footing or just patio stones but most people will have this on their porch, walkway or driveway rather than a specially built platform and you probably have to order this thing first to decide how it could be bolted down. They should post plans on their website that contractors or DIY'ers could use to prepare a base for it so you could bolt it down as soon as it arrives.

Not big enough for most of my parcels. I will build one larger that will be more cost effective.

How do you get your local delivery service to use it? Mine are too incompetent.
Irony: you buy this and it gets stolen from your porch before you get home while it's still in the box.

Just purchased this drop box...opened the drop slot and now it is jammed...can anyone help to fix...

Did you not listen? They said it can be bolted down to the porch or even concrete. Rather than blast the product from only seeing a little video, why not take it a step further and go to their website?
Picking up a metal box like that would be a pain in the ass, heavy and bulky. Criminals don't want to struggle and spend a lot of time hoisting something to steal it. They want to grab it and GO as fast and as effortlessly as possible. You'd be hard pressed to pick it up and put it in your car in one smooth swoop.
I wonder if Vanessa Troyer is related to Verne Troyer? (famous little guy on TH-cam who actually owns one of these).
I am totally in Love with the ElephantTrunk box :) is an amazing invention I would love to have one... *you should create like a internet-based programming that will send us notifications when we receive something or when the drop box it's been forced or Even a little cam corder would be nice! A bigger size would be awesome I'm thrilled THANKS To PEOPLE Like YOU, PEOPLE Like Me CAN HAVE PEACE OF Mind & Leave the garage door completly closed When WE Go OUT AND be relaxed when the Delivery Don't Get On TIME expected God Bless and keep creating Solutions for a better world ;-)

The idea is good, but the thief could just take this mailbox anyway.....right?
ummm ok he says "if our daughter leaves something at a friends house they can drop it off in the box instead of us having to make a special trip to pick it up" ummm what about them making a special trip to drop it off for you! just because you have an elephant trunk and its convenient for you doesn't mean its convenient for them! how selfish! Go pick it up yourself if you want it back!!!! After all its your daughters fault for leaving it behind!!!!
