I believe he realized it was not helping the listener. He became much more playful in the last phase of his life. UG was just a man, who took LSD and felt the Void first hand and gained an Enlightened perspective which he turned into entertainment on some minor level. He made a game of it. Evasive. Talking without saying anything. Genius, he is the short cut to a place no one should go. There is no benefit to experiencing what he did, you will lose everything like he did.
