    The desire for peace destroys the peace you already have.
    This instant, this universe, your self, all are in perfect order.
    Even the ‘effort to attain’ that takes us nowhere is itself perfect.

      Peace with belligerence results in conflict. Conflict with belligerence results in peace. Now it just becomes a game of framing everyone against me as belligerent to justify my peace.

    I often listen to U.G. as I drift off to sleep. Very relaxing and very interesting. There are some real nuggets in there if you give him some time.

    Brilliant !!! The absolute honesty. Over and above most philosophies.
    Even the "want" to search, attain, reach, a level of higher peace, harmony, and effortlessness ( state of inner quiet, peace) is an "effort" which is delusionary.."to want more" is a natural state of Humans..but, like Shakespeare said.." there' s the rub "..!(:)
    Humans are eternally seeking, unsatisfied with the
    "now", which is perfect as is, if we care to "be" in the here and now, acceptingly, and even enjoying it, as that is all we have..the " now" from oment through moment throughout our lives.
    This video, IS very liberating, finally, very honest, humble and simple to understand.
    Thanks !

      So what does to "be" here and now means to you? how can you enjoy that? will you NOT do any action or activity (I differentiate a bit b/w the two)? Isn't all activity an effect of Mind - which is always restless and hence cause of the misery? Is there any perception of pleasure oR enjoyment as u put across... without the Mind, and without which what is the meaning of perceiving that moment?
      Humanity has setup all these structures bcz of the action and activity of Mind...else we could have "enjoyed" every moment during the hunter/gatherer lifestyle - there we were far more closer to the wild/nature and probably more closer to the reality? Now after all this while sitting at our homes, listening to these Gurus/Non-Gurus with the comfort of technology we wonder what is enlightenment, yoga, pain vs pleasure? Isn't most of it due to our aversion to pain, rather than truly be happy (or seek the pleasure without pain)? I think in the end we need to NOT seek the pleasure or be averse of the pain...maybe then it will truly dawn on us - we are what we are and be in peace...
      I just wanted to put forth my view...another humble seeker who has from his perspective read all the greatest Warriors (my term) and realized also - no Ultimate Reality we can talk about. We can be Warriors - live life as it comes....in it's wildness. Easy to write, hard to walk on the path - with day to day conditioning of society.........Sorry if I disturbed your happiness :)

    You cannot know of the unknown. Thus arises the proverb A thousand miles journey begins with a step. It is not the journey that is concerned but the first step that is more important. Do you have the courage to walk toward the unknown.

    • @farrider3339
      @farrider3339 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No courage at all is needed to walk towards (?) what You/Me/They/Us call the UnKnown.
      *We're already in the UnKnown.*
      Any explanation given about This* does nOt match anyway.
      Mere symbols about This* is all that we're dealing with .•°

    • @florinmoldovanu
      @florinmoldovanu หลายเดือนก่อน

      if you're watching UG you're already made the first step on that walk that would lead to nowhere. Your question is stupid.

    • @aspie2901
      @aspie2901 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's not the unknown - it's the fact that knowledge is not the real thing which we confuse with the real thing and become delusional. The ultimately regenerative mode of thought would be to point towards truth - rather than dictating it.

    If we take away the goal of becoming selfless (Or let me put it as - lesser and lesser selfish), what remains? isn't that an proper effort to have - some sort of selflessness even if we cant reach the ultimate Selflessness?? The selfishness already prevails at large...So in the end, isn't it that the so called society or culture of which we are a product, itself demands it perpetuity of status quo through duality? don't we see both selfish and selfless people existing in the society? how come we saw a buddha, christ, or simple person laying his/her life for another person? What am i missing? And in our eastern philosophy they say that selfless is our true nature - the selfishness is mere an ignorant attitude bcz of over-attachment to this body-mind complex which is mere a mirage which we are NOT...Though I have never been able to fully do away with this body-mind complex feeling, but many a times while conscious also I have a feeling of witness separate from it...also sometimes we are truly unconscious of this body-mind, what of that?
    I guess our state of conflict continues............

    So where does that Knowledge comes from? How come the humanity as a whole obtained that knowledge? Even if I as a person gathered from all other sources, what is the source for any one of them? Donno why UG didnt clarify that or why the people there didnt ask that clarification?
    As an Indian I have sstarted to realize after listening to him a lot, that he majority times talk about the Ultimate state as an illusion (and he is right when he says - we go from one to another) or longing to becoming a Buddha is illusion, and at the same time he is correct that our search itself creates problem, but I disagree that inherently search is the problem. Though, and as per him also, we need some values and codes to functional properly in this world, but those mostly remain for communication and etiquettes, what about the irrational, selfish, cunning and competitive behavior type of vices/conditioning society imposes on us? Unnatural differences creating b/w man and woman (other than physical) - putting woman down? Those we can easily do away with...we can cut through that garbage...I have done that living with 2 ailments and found my life more liberating - not going via the success definition of the society...people in my circle understands or not...One of the qualities of this is - I invest full devotion in whatever I do with utmost awareness possible (I falter but I keep trying) and this has created a deeper sense of belonging to this community called humanity - rather than competition i found compassion as a stronger virtue to live with...allows to live fully with more a kinda a Warrior and far less a slave...I dont care if I find the Ultimate bcz I realized seeking that every moment counts so just keep living :)

    How is it that U.G. can be so fucking real about the situation but nearly EVERY other "teacher" has to sit on a stage and proclaim some method...and charge for it!
    It's like a credit card company giving you a minimum payment every month. The more you pay into the bill, the farther the final payment recedes and you will never catch up and pay the bill off!

      :) He spoke directly of the physical mechanism - as scientifically as possible. It is too radical, no one has gone into this kind of detail. Others have spoken about planes and the process of involution. He is basically leading you to nothing. Because that is the truth. ❤ Those who hung around him spoke of the energy he emanated- the transmission they experienced in his presence. It was transformative on various levels for many. :) I've found him progressively more clear as my own consciousness grew over time.
      We only understand based on our conditioning. To understand a master - must empty your cup. 🖖❤

      I don't think he was an exceptionally brilliant thinker. His ideas seem muddled at times and contradictory. But he did have some important things to say. If he was really as shit as you say then nobody would care for him, but they do.
