I love how UG went public and his conversations, photos are now available to everyone freely!
So kind of him to join us.
Very few will understand him, he perceived the life as it exists... nothing more nothing less..
UG was a scientist...actually you can get to his same conclutions by reading 'the selfish gene' or any other neurological or other scientific book. 2022 it is not big news what he said so well 50 years ago. A genius for his time but all these i am passing on to my kids now and it is not a biggie.....It is a shocked for all of you who believed all bull from Gurus priest politician or any other talking monkey on this society.

Clinical psychologists and pharmaceutical companies hate this guy. All mental complications, mental complexities, depression, panic manias, anxiety sufferers, and humans will be cured if they listen to this guy. Suicide rate will sky rocket but at least those beings will Rest In Peace.

I don't see why the suicide rate would rise...quite the opposite,as people will see that there's a perfectly simple explanation for feeling 'mad',in this crazy,mind-bogglingly stupid(ignorant) so-called civilisation;..........and LAUGH!!
You're definitely right im one of them people, after listening to him for only 2 days I felt comfortable in a crowded place and i had control over my mind for the first time in years we humans really stress over nothing 😂 I can laugh about it now 🙏

I don't even understand how I'm a separate, individual consciousness listening to this guy like he's something outside of myself.
It's the same in a dream. You can talk to someone without knowing what they're gonna say, but it's actually just you. So is the ground you're standing on, and the air you're breathing.
@@creatorlight4346 Yup. And there's no way to intentionally cause that separation to cease. No practice, no form of meditation, yoga, pranayams, thinking about it, reading "deep" texts, listening to countless non duality teachers, even U.G., and on and on. The self, the "I" persists no matter what. Like U.G. said, there's no way out. Period. Full stop.

Here is a man who believed negation of everything else meant the negation of himself and hence realising his existence. Hard to believe, it only happens by chance.
Negate that belief of yours which will when your search will come to end naturally

I enjoy UG, Alan Watts, Terence McKenna, and dozens of others I've read or heard throughout the years of my search. UG doesn't have all the answers... But he is very useful.
He is a realist...although is not providing solutions, yet like Buddha he shows that those who talk of God do not really know what they are saying.
There is surely some sort of higher Being or Isness, or that which provides the root source of things, but our amnesia is strong.
What I like about this man is his practical approach, although maybe he lacks a bit of faith. Just because we don't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, but, as UG himself shows, we don't have to trust the things we take for granted as "facts", which are often just ideas to fill our ignorance.
All we can do is identity with ourselves AS the Universe and keep going until we find the answers we want.
Even if they are indeed in the questions. 😉✌❤

Well we all may interpret things in a few ways, and I was commenting on my joy of listening to other thinkers.
My own experiences validate things for me, as I'm sure it is for you!
As it should be.
UG seems great as a realist, although he fails to go more deeply, because there should be great peace, and no person has yet on earth given the totality of satisfactory answers!
So the road doesn't begin or stop with anyone.
I love UG, and he has helped me to accept certain limits.
But I do believe in what we can call a God or source, and at the root of truth its something we all might feel but haven't fully grasped.
It is a mystery still unfolding.

Though he rejects spirituality completely, many of his statements still have the resemblance/similarity of Buddha's and Advaita True thoughts (and I mean a few true thoughts, NOT the marketed and diluted versions of these organized religions). And the conditioning of culture or society and the thought-sphere he talks about makes total sense to me, I have felt and been aware of that...that thought-sphere is the ONLY source closest to that Infinite Intelligence (or god or whatever) we can actually talk about...rest is hogwash of religions...
But this guy is a truer-self. Good to come back and listen at times to him...again just for the sake of maintaining my continuity ;)...Rest I am Free!
Though another thought ;) ... What is the source of this all encompassing Thought-sphere? Where did the 1st thought came about?.....probably we will never know, and probably I should STOP asking that question :)
there are no thoughts, certainly no "true" thoughts ....and ur statement that u.g is a "truer-self" is absolutely meaningless and something he would blast you for if he was in the same room, there is no self besides in the form ot a word played on repeat. Also saying "rest i am free" very much implies that you, the parasitic stranglehold of culture, is still there chaining the body to its silly ideas/thoughts. There is no one there to be free from anything, nor anything to be free from!
