    What does the lope tune do. Is it cutting fuel to a couple cylinders? I still daily my 95 2500 and 12v is the best sound 😄

    You millennial diesel "enthusiasts" make me laugh. Spending money on big wheels, rubber-band tires, no thought to performance, just try to make it sound and look cool. Being unaware the entire time we know you can't even back a trailer.

      Hello, millennial diesel enthusiast here, we literally don’t care. I drive one of my dream trucks for fun and I love working on diesels.. It’s a hobby for me. I don’t own a trailer nor can I back one, but at least I’m still happier than you. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @PersonalBestOutdoors
      @PersonalBestOutdoors 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I drive a different dream truck every day of the week. All 5 of them bought, and paid for using money I earned from working my blue collar job as a tree climber. None of them are pavement princesses, and all get used as trucks. Hauling my 24 foot travel trailer, 22k dump trailer, car hauler, or tilt-deck with the side by sides.
      I'm glad that you're "happier than me" but like the adage goes... ignorance is bliss.

      @@PersonalBestOutdoors My bad for assuming you are not happy. 👍🏻 The principle that I was conveying was that the enthusiast literally don’t care about that opinion, because they are doing what they love just as you are.. Keep hauling, keep working, keep grinding bratha. 🤙🏻

      The truck is deleted, and tuned by a reputable company. So obviously there is thought about performance.
      Congratulations, you work a blue collar job, bought some toys, and can back a trailer. Welcome to the club. Did you want a medal for that snowflake?

    • @PersonalBestOutdoors
      @PersonalBestOutdoors 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @ThanksHero I'm sure you've been waiting on the edge of your seat for a reply, so I'll give it to you.
      Here's what you fail to realize. 12v tunes, and tunes with heavy lope merely remove the pilot infection sequence. This creates that rough idle sound, or "lope." Since you're removing that from the injection sequence, it puts the cylinder at essentially a fuel deficit right as the piston behind its cycle from top dead center. Essentially, it creates a more lean combustion event from less available fuel. Since diesels run on compression, and diesel has a higher oil content in the fuel, you're intentionally shorting each combustion event from lubricants and fuel. Explain to me how this is increasing performance again?
      It may come from a reputable company. But remember, this reputable company is in business because people give them money for services. Everyone knows the 6.4l powerstroke is near the top of the list for the worst diesel engine ever. If you take your cummins to a shop, and tell them you want a 6.4l powerstroke swap, they'll happily take your money if you're adamant about wanting it done. Reputable companies regularly entertain people's poor decisive all the time. This in no way reflects poorly on the company. They have bills to pay, and you are allowed to screw up your own property any way you like. I own a tree service. I try to educate people about best practices for caring for their trees every day. I make recommendations to remove at risk trees. Sometimes people follow my advice, others don't and we unfortunately have to remove them off of their homes 6 months later.
      No medals necessary here. I'm proud of my accomplishments, and I'm able to provide for my family and give them the life I didn't have. But I do know about load ratings, max speeds and tread patterns of tires on my rigs. Because nothing ruins your vacation faster than over-loading a tire meant for a 5000lb car in a 4 ton rig with an 8k lb trailer behind it.
      I do want to talk about your tendency to call people names though. It is said that is an indicator of low intelligence and emotional instability. You seem like such a smart kid, though. Surely your little brother got a good of your phone, right?
      For the record, I had to work hard for everything I have. None of my trucks (aside from the 2022 Toyota Tacoma) are newer than 2008. The trailer and toys are circa 2020. I've had to earn every penny to purchase them. To make it even remotely possible, I've never paid a shop a cent for labor. I work on, and fix them myself. It's amazing what you can learn when you open a book, and ask for wisdom from people who know more than you. Many people are willing to teach someone with the right attitude who doesn't pretend to know it all. You learn a skill, while saving yourself a bunch of money to buy other cool stuff in the process. Just my $0.02 from an uneducated redneck tree climber.
      I'm good with good natured debates and discussions between people with differing opinions. The right to have your belief and opinion is what makes you human, and living in the greatest country on earth... but I exit conversations at name calling. Feel free to reply how you wish, as it won't be responded to. I will leave you with a paying thought. Found in the best source of wisdom known to man.
      "There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up."
      -Proverbs 21:20
      Translation: "A fool and his money are soon parted"
