I wasn't too into the movie, but I really liked this ship. It stood out amongst the others not just for its size, but the design. It looks so menacing compared to the Enterprise!
I had always kind-of likened it to an evil monstrous Enterprise. The shot of it creeping up on the Enterprise while at warp makes it look so intimidating

Bird Gaming #1 The Vegeance is the Excelsior class of the Kelvin timeline. Even the Dominion sure couldn’t hang this ship. If keeps going to the Kelvin Next Generation the D would doble bigger or more than this and would be really different from the once we know from TOS timeline. More powerful fire power. And E. Leave on imagination.
Beautiful ship. But it's hard to fall in love with a ship that's only served for 2 hours or so. Hope something that looks similar to this comes around in the Star Trek universe and lives a bit longer. Just discovered 'Eaglemoss' a few days ago, and ordered 1701-D.
heyo, I think those massive phaser turrets dropped down from those two cargo bay-looking doors on the saucer, where those rows of angular turrets point towards just on either side of the saucer's negative space ;)
Hi, im so happy u got it at last! Im not a huge fan of the vengence but it is a not bad ship. I have mine next to the jj prise, together they look good. The D4 is fantastic i think! Its a very cool looking ship i have no problems at all with it. Again glad you got ur vengence and hope u get ur D4 soon. Take it easy......
Beautiful ship... for what she's designed for. Total Destruction.Secondary hull keeps reminding me of a F-117 Stealth Fighter. Let me know what you think. Maybe the angular design and coloring employ the latest long range sensor dampening technology? Love this ship. And, as far as the 'battle' goes, Enterprise couldn't even get off a shot and looked like a white spaghetti sieve. Kudos to Spock and McCoy for the torpedo ruse but, after 72 high-yield torpedoes explode inside her hull, the (granted) mortally damaged Vengeance still comes down for a crash landing INTACT!
I think the Vengeance is my favorite Eaglemoss to date. It was my first special and I don't think I had any complaints. I wish this ship was available on Star Trek Online. I could probably find a mod for it on Bridge Commander, I'd just have to install it.

I like the JJ verse too. I like the ship designs, the Klingons and the interiors. The only thing I don't like is the film Beyond, to me, that was the worse of the lot. All the rest I love.
If my knowledge serves correctly. The only area were the cannons were seen on screen were from the underside of the Saucer. And yes they powered down due to the sabotage done by Scotty.

Like, I still don't know what the functional reason there is to have that large cut out in the middle of the saucer, but over time the ship has actually grown on me, mostly after being able to fly it in Star Trek Online. Into Darkness might still be a mess of a movie but at least it did give us this ship

I wish the Nacelles weren't placed so far apart from the Hull. The potential to severe them is high this way. In fact the exact thing happens to the Enterprise in Star Trek: Beyond.

The aztecing looks boring at first but as you move it around it's clear that they actually put a lot of work into giving it the same "changes with the lighting" stealth look as the magazine describes. Well done Eaglemoss! If I didn't have a strict "Enterprises only" rule for myself with this collection, I'd be all over this.
Just a warning. The ships are great but they do not charge on a monthly basis they charge every 28 days so if you are counting on being charged at a specific time of the month watch your account or you may end up with an overdraft.

The vengeance was big and imposing after Nero’s attack starfleet wanted to show it could kick ass and in the real universe the defiant showed starfleet small yet powerful not intimidating But section 31 I hated built this Section 31 was ment to be covert not exist so building a big ship like this didn’t make sense but that is just my opinion

Forget the sheer sizing scale (and the rest of JJ verse sizing scale) but what in GBotG is that holes in saucer for? They certainly carried that forward in Uss Discovery but at least that had a purpose.

Indeed. But what seperated this ship apart from the ships of the re booted trek universe and the prime star trek universe was that crazy noise generated from the engines XD when at warp right behind the fleeing Enterprise.
I don't think the vengeance was that bad of a ship, I thought it was pretty cool actually, but it looks to advanced for the time period the movies depict. The names stupid though.
To be honest I am not a fan of the Vengance. It is the anit Defiant. The Defiant is the essence of a Federation warship, small, manuverable, and it can take as well as give a heavy punch. The Vengance is like a SW Deathstar, it´s more about imposing and showing of power than actual use. It´s to big, it has to much unused space, it is not as manouverable and the design has obvious weakspots all over the place. And it works for a small crew or just 1 man huh? I wanna know how that turns out after 5 years of service, because that ship sure has a lot of systems and a large EPS-grid that needs regualr maintnance. There was a reason why the original Enterprise needed a min crew of 200 to operate, and thats because on a big ship there´s a lot that needs to be keept runnung.
There can be a lot of variety when it comes to warships. The vengeance is a dreadnought class so big and powerful is a must. She is huge, she is imposing and that's the point. You would not want to mess with her. She has multiple gunnery positions, phaser drones and a ton of other weaponry. The defiant is a small equally lethal ship fit for other purposes but not comparable in my opinion :) Crew is open for debate. I'm positive she'd need a good sized crew to run but in a battle scenario when the crew are incapacitated the ship could be operated by one temporarily if needed I think. I could be wrong though. Wow the Vengeance is uglier than I remember in the movie. Nice model hideous ship. I've never been a fan of JJ Abrahams universe ship designs. They are oversize and have elements that just look awful and out of place.
The cresent design with all of the spiky bits looks like it was designed in Mordor. Pretty cool.

Maybe the Vengeance is actually that big to the Enterprise.in the movie the two ships were at a distance apart. They look great together.

The ultra swept back look was so silly. Didn't like the *A* either. Too stubby. But ST09 and STID Enterprises looked nice.
Vengence is awesome but I didnt like the big gap in the center of the saucer section. Make a complete saucer section.

I gave Eaglemoss a list of ALL the ships, shuttles, and stations... they can be putting this collection out for at least a good ten+ years.
The size of the uss vengeance is 1520 meters almost the size of the imperial star destroyer at 1600 meters.
