post 2019 stock mufflers are straight thru on street twin the t100 stock exhaust has a perforated baffle across I replaced street twin on my 21 t100 louder deeper sound
Any comments on jetting up the carbs (790 bikes) or installing the TOR fuel map (865 bikes) as recommended by Triumph? With a free-flowing exhaust like this one, the engine will be running lean unless you correct it.
Check your spark plugs and see what they say. On the EFI bikes, a tune may not be as necessary as on a carbureted Bonneville, I think, unless you also change your air intake... your spark plugs will tell you whether or not it's needed :)
I have same bike. I went with British Custom Predator pretty much same pipes. and absolutely had to map the ecu. The first couple years of EFI 865’s don’t have the ability to adjust that much on their own.
The gopro will try to dynamically adjust the sound so I wouldn't be able to totally fair comparison. On my big boy camera with the professional microphone I can leave all the settings on manual so you get a real apples to apples comparison with no camera interfering
watching the vid, I thought that looks like a Toronto Cemetary, it actually reminded me of a Cemetary at that runs between Yonge and Senlac, I wonder. Anyway, is there a mapping that triumph should do with that exhaust or is it just a slip-on exhaust and does it have any impact on performance?
Ah, dang it Karl, that's a great question and one that I should have answered in the video, thanks for pointing it out. The dealers do have a TORS-specific map. Typically if you got the exhaust pipes from them, they would map it during install for you. I don't know how necessary it is or isn't, but I have a good relationship with Powersports TO, my local Triumph dealer, I've been a customer of Doug's for 15 or so years, so personally in the spring, I'll be taking it over to them for the TORS map just to be safe... although I can tell you from riding around just the one day in the fall, the bike felt great. Just needs some upgraded suspension.
@@YouMotorcycle Thanks buddy. I just bought my first triumph just past Friday, drove to Cornwall to pick it up, Whitby to Cornwall omg long drive. It has the Tors on it and he did tell me the ECU has been remapped. Thank you for getting back to me. Cheers maybe see you on the road sometime.

We have TORS on our Bonneville (came with it) and it has such a nice tone. Great work and cheers!
Very gentlemanly tone. Fits the bike lol
It does sound much better without being too loud ! Definitely a keeper, gotta a love a Trumpet 🎺! Cheers, Eddie
I wouldn't mind if it was a bit louder, but I'm still happy with the improvement!
If i was burried on that cemetary,i woud have woken up and smile at that sound!
Hahaha thanks
Well it wasn't loud enough to "raise the dead"! NICE!
Lol no it was not, they are still resting peacefully
Deceased riders really liked the new exhaust sound. In the evening they will come to you to pay a visit to say thank you.
I visit them every day, we are family and friends.

That was a great comparison. But I think the true test is the sound under a load .... Road test sound

Would you be able to confirm if this TORS would fit Thruxton 900 2015?
Do you mean the Thruxton 865? The 900 motor wasn't out yet in 2015
For reference, are the Tors louder than Dominator Touring pipes ??
I don't know. Never heard a set of Dominator pipes
🤘🤘🤘
Not bad right?
@@YouMotorcycle It was a solid install / review video
@youmotorcycle what mirrors are those?
Napoleon Bar End Mirrors, if you find anyone still selling them please let me know
May I know the name of the rear view mirrors? Thank you
Napoleon bar end mirrors plus an adapter made by I forget who in the UK to make them compatible with the stock Bonneville bars
Where can you buy these mufflers?
From your local triumph dealer. These are made by Triumph.
Any idea where your mirrors are from?
