    Been doing a lot of thinking and looking and I'm coming to terms with needing a T100 in my life. There's one for sale around the corner from me that is very, very tempting. Looking forward to seeing how this competition turns out.

      Hahaha. I usually just keep a little bit of money put to the side so that when a nice bike comes up at a very tempting price I can go for it. Ride it for a while, make it better, and move on. We'll see which of the trio I keep! 😬

    When I had my 900 Thruxton first thing I did was a get the Arrow 2-2 map and Dominator sport slip on...... Sounded awesome!!!!!

    I have a 2020 t100. I put 18 inch short slip on. It made a little louder. I had pea shooters on it when I bought it. I actually love how it sounds now.

      Nice! What 18" slip on did you get?

  • @poliman89

    Would it be possible to stick the buffles back in in case of need? Or would they just shoot out, given we broke the soldering points? In EU we have technical inspections where they verify DBs and emissions, every two years in the case of my 2010 Bonny. Great content BTW, thank you very much!

    • @YouMotorcycle
      @YouMotorcycle  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@poliman89thanks! I think unless you have a welder you're not getting them to stay back in place. Might just want to get a louder set of slip-ons and then when it's time for an inspection it's just two bolts on either side to put the stock ones back on

    That all depend on the firing order of each of those bikes... I dislike loud 270 degree parallel twins like the Enfield but don't mind loud transverse twins (Moto Guzzi) and the 360 degree Triumph.

    • @YouMotorcycle
      @YouMotorcycle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great point! Engine config really makes all the difference. For some reason I never cared much for a loud in-line four, but a louder v-twin never bothered me. We're all got our own quirks I guess :)

    Norman Hyde Togas (UK) are often considered the best sounding exhaust for the Bonnies. Music to the ears. Great videos. Thanks!

      I love those pipes, and thanks very much. In tomorrow's video I'm giving the end to the series by picking a winner between the Bonneville and V7. It's an in-depth comparison and review of the two motorcycles after a year of ownership of both: th-cam.com/video/hUj8GxB29O4/w-d-xo.html

    Good vid I enjoyed this good mod, I was unaware of this mod for the Bonneville, I do have Tors on my Bonneville already. 1 thing I'd like to point out if I may, that back firing is not something new, its that cat burning off unspent fuel as it was designed to do, the difference now is , you can hear it with the exhaust gutted. My Bonne does it with the Tors and my Royal does it with the Emgo Hooligan exhaust as well. Even with a Booster plug that allows your bike to run richer both my Triumph and my Royal have the decel pop :-) I like it.

    • @YouMotorcycle
      @YouMotorcycle  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Karl, thanks very much for the comment and for the info on your bikes. Do you happen to know if your bike got the TORS mapping from Triumph on install? Merry Christmas!

      @@YouMotorcycle Merry Christmas. I bought the bike used with the Tors on it, the person I bought it from said he mapped it himself, so that been said I'm not sure if it has been done although the person I bought it from seemed like a good honest straight up person and the bike runs well so I think it was done and he did it him self. I think he said he down loaded the map from Triumph.

    It looks like this round is really RE vs Bonnie. Moto Guzzi seems shoe in. And leaning towards bonnie since it has exhaust mod, still gonna need to do that to the RE for it to stay in. And tbh, I feel until you swap the exhaust on it, fix filter box & flash it, RE won't keep up with highways enough.

    • @YouMotorcycle

      nah. hardly ripping around, not even doing the road speed limit. but i live in the most densely populated city in my country, so, there's no unobstructed riding on the road. This is the only spot I can go where I won't be stuck in traffic unless I ride for 30+ minutes away from the city.
