Hello Dr. Youn, I'm a subscriber to your channel and love your content. Can you recommend a minimally invasive procedure to explant and lift my 38D breasts. I'm a 63yo woman of color with great elastic skin texture and no stretch marks. I have no visible scars with my initial implants as they were concealed in the areolas. I need a mastopexy but don't want to risk mutilation for the sake of vanity. 😢 Please help.

Based on what I searched on Google , it seems like it starts out an infection that leads the immune system to go on overdrive. Maybe the divots, bumps, and rigidness in the textured implant irritates the muscles/body more, thus increasing the chance of that happening. For smooth implants, they're softer, smoother, and more flexible, so if muscles move, there's much less friction, thus less irritation, chance of infection, and immune system overload
I have a question. Why aren't saline implants reccommended to double mastectomy patients ? I have silicone, in my country South Africa, saline is no longer available and I have excruciating pain in the winter or cold days when my core temp drops and my implants remain cold , my nipples and across to my sternum are in such pain.

I'm sorry but I don't feel that any breast implants are healthy at all! I suffered from breast implant illness and I finally got my breast implants removed that were recalled back in 2019..
Do you have any information on BLite breast implants made in Germany. Apparently they are 30% lighter in weight, more natural feel and last longer due to less drooping. Only problem they are not FDA approved in USA.

I don’t won’t natural looking breast Doc if I did I wouldn’t get breast implants I like round high profile fake look . Of If I like natural I wouldn’t get implants . Natural equals sagging boobs . Unfortunately after my breast cancer I went to New Orleans thinking they are the best in the world there bc they said they were . I had previously had beautiful augmented breast with saline round . I loved them for 14 years and unfortunately after explaining over and over I still got natural silicone sagging breast implants with my breast reconstruction surgery and I keep being promised round high profile . Uggh now this time I’ve come home from New Orleans the breast center with one nipple and 1/2 inch higher than the other and one breast lifted the mastectomy side and the doctor refused to lift the other . Uggh I’m so miserable what should I do Doc ??? Please help me please
See I had breast I’m plants beautiful ones before o got breast cancer then went to New Orleans the breast center to have them reconstructed . After 3 reconstructive surgeries I have one nipple higher than the other and I hate these saggy natural heavy silicone boobs ! Is it possible after a right sided mastectomy with the DIEP surgery and an implant to fix my nipple get a breast lift and get saline again and once again have beautiful round high profile fake looking boobs ? ????

Implants much more popular than DIEP flaps, but each patient is different. Def talk with your doctor about it.

If you're referring to breast implant illness, Yes. All implants can cause BII. I just explanted my smooth silicone implants one week ago due to BII.

Depends on the type. Type I is an autoimmune disease and I wouldn't risks more autoimmune responses that can be caused by implants. :/
