I absolutely love what you do but Unfortunately, For most a facelift with a reputable surgeon is just not obtainable. Anyway, it is possible to delay aging and reverse a LOT just through Microneedling. No procedure that I have done in my life was as helpful as the high-quality derma pen I got for around 200$.

Yeah sure, during the years I have tried almost everything to look younger + delay aging as much as possible, anything from face exercises, vitamin C serum, Fraxel, collagen supplements and of course Retin A (7 years straight), home devices and what not. I swear, Nothing made any real difference compared to microneedling. Within 3 months of use, my skin has improved DRAMATICALLY. I don't look like I'm 20's again, but definitely not 48 either. My fine lines have disappeared completely, and my nasolabial folds are way less are nonexist (never had jowls though). People often underestimate the power of wounding and the revolutionary effects it can have on the skin

I think , it's the case of things go down further before they pick up. So the round puffy, ducky, weird puppet looks have led people as future patients to reconsider effects and outcomes of those 'quick fix' techniques since 2000.
The last two years have led to plastic surgeons and to discuss with actual examples of their own work on patients and those of celebrities of what are successful and natural cosmetics procedure and what and why some were not natural, botched or failed. And it opened up conversations about what , and when is right and how much rejuvenation is enough.
And here we are ushering 2025 with more balanced and recalibrated perspectives and expectations.
Thank you all! Doctors, patients and everyone else sharing!

I agree with you. Natural and simple. I wish the Chanels such as this would explain the cost in round about figures. Girls in their 40-60s are still raising kids, illegal help. Etc. who’s got the extra money for these procedures. May if you are a CEO or own your own company but what about us retired women also. A couple thousand would be doable but 10-20 $ that’s some else. Hollywood can afford it but not us. Maybe the medical insurance would start a new policy for this area (hahaha). Well ladies, stay healthy and accept the lines, it’s called life and getting older.

I am a woman of a certain age ( 62) . I have never had surgery, I take no meds, I only need glasses to drive. I exercise regularly etc… all this to say I feel very young….young until I look in a mirror. Too many years of sun exposure and not always a great diet. So, you are correct , for me there is a huge disconnect between how I feel and how I look. Unfortunately, in this day and age most treatments and even some skincare is way too expensive for regular people like me. I am glad you addressed the emotional aspects of facial rejuvenation as those are rarely addressed. Obviously celebrities are under enormous pressure, but receive outstanding compensation. For normal women like me, the stakes might be a bit different. In my 20's I felt unattractive because of suffering trauma in my youth and had a hard time with self esteem. I was very self-critical. Now in my 60's I finally like myself and would like to enjoy my looks, which were never bad! Happily I always took care of my skin and wore sunscreen! It's ridiculous to tell people that in 2025 and beyond the only real options for anti aging is $100,000 face lifts, which at the end of the day, are still barbaric, painful procedures that require a lot of healing and can only be done once or twice in a life time, at most. They create a lot of scar tissue and trauma. Facelifts are not good for the skin (I have talked to many experienced healers and aestheticians about this). In the near future, we will have anti-aging technologies, skincare, and health rejuvenations that will reverse aging without cutting and eliminate disease. Hospitals will be a thing of the past, along with Big-Pharma. If we can clone, have AI, and make flying cars, we can move beyond face lifts! Botox is also a poison. It looks ugly and is horrible for the skin muscles. Muscles should not be frozen. It causes atrophy. I agree that skincare and skin health is most important. When I see women, especially in Europe, with beautiful skin and true style, they look beautiful no matter their age, and regardless of lines and some laxity. We have really lost the plot when it comes to understanding what makes someone beautiful. It isn't looking like a cloned version of yourself or having a face that doesn't move or show life.

Finally! My mother had an old school facelift done in 1985, at the age of 53, by an excellent surgeon in Fresno, CA. Her results were outstanding. When I decide to pull the trigger on a facelift (God willing my 401k can take the strain) I'll find a surgeon who, like you, understands the lost art of the natural, artistic facelift. I am with you on your quest. And the surgeons in Australia don't specialise in just faces. They concentrate on breasts. I noticed Lindsey Lohan recently and thought how fabulous she looked after some of the earlier disasters. Dr Karam is really the only surgeon that has wonderful before and after photos. People say "just grow old gracefully" but I work in a very ageist company - in education (!) and the faculty and staff only see the surface value, putting no emphasis on character, intellect, life experience or ability. It is very disheartening.

Despondent is a big emotion and it could be that it's not the best idea for you to have major cosmetic surgery. It may be more than the outside that needs to be done.
And here we are ushering 2025 with more balanced and recalibrated perspectives and better managed expectations.
Thank you all! Doctors, patients and everyone else sharing!

However under the knife I have not yet but I have done the Botox but with t my age I see shape of my face is now changing I’m aging and my eyes by brows sagging . My chin has wrinkles , I have flown for the airlines almost 40 years and I wonder what is the best way to help chin , neck , eyes but I am not into the thread those I know who have done this in the USA or in Korea it looks so painful the day after and they go back over and over every
5 months and I don’t want to do that . I am consistent in good health care for my skin & I do love products from Korea but still I know I need to do this revival you do . I had ultra therapy in Spain two years ago but it was painful , I don’t wanna keep doing procedures every 6 months . I have never done strings and never will .
Thank you for educating me on skin ,and reality of what is needed bc I only wanna look natural not like a mannikin in photos or in person .
