When I grew up in the 1980's I didn't like ballads, or so I thought. It turned out that I just think ballads are extremely hard to do good and almost no one except Air supply can make good ballads. They are far superior to all other bands when it comes to ballads.

When I was in College, my dormmate was from Trinidad. He was trying to make money scalping Concert Tickets for Air Supply. He didn't know that their music was soft rock, that was popular with women. So he was stuck with extra tickets. So us 5 guys went to the Concert. We were the only men at the Air Supply Concert surrounded by 10,000 women. We were supposed to get married and everything but trauma I went through as a kid caused me to not see what I had or have trust in her and to this day I've never forgiven myself for the pain I caused I her.
