Suggest listening to the official video from 1980 to hear the album version. This acoustic version is nice, but it is not as good as the original. "Makin' Love out of Nothing at All" is another hit.

Next Air Supply song you should react to is "Making Love Out of Nothing At All". I'd suggest the original to fully appreciate their voices from when they were younger.

They do this song still amazing at this age, you should hear them when they were younger.. there ballads have so much more power in them with the full compliment of vocals and band.

The late ‘70’s and’80’s were the height of Air Supply. These two were amazing! Both “Russells” could sing like angels.

Air Supply is a soft rock duo formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1975, consisting of Englishman Graham Russell (vocals, guitar) and Australian Russell Hitchcock (vocals). With record sales of 100 million worldwide, they had a succession of hits worldwide, including eight top-five hits on the US Billboard Hot 100, "Lost in Love" (1979), "All Out of Love", "Every Woman in the World" (both 1980), "The One That You Love", "Here I Am" (both 1981), "Sweet Dreams", "Even the Nights Are Better" (both 1982) and "Making Love Out of Nothing at All" (1983). In Australia, they had four top ten placements with "Love and Other Bruises" (1976), "All Out of Love", "Every Woman in the World" and "The One That You Love". Their highest charting studio album, The One That You Love (1981) reached number ten in both Australia and the US. The group, which relocated to Los Angeles in the late 1970s, has included many members, with Hitchcock and Russell at the core. The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) inducted Air Supply into their Hall of Fame on 1 December 2013, at the annual ARIA Awards.

I agree with the other comments, gotta listen to the original version. They have put out some great songs. I can’t hear this song now without thinking of the movie The Wedding Date. Dermot Mulroney sings it in the shower scene. One of my favorite movies and a great song!

I grew up with Air Supply in the '80s. Some amazing love songs... going to see them live in a few weeks. When my daughter was an infant, and she was having one of those nights that she just didn't want to sleep, I would walk around in circles in the living room, trying to soothe her and most nights, I was singing Air Supply songs to her while doing so. Didn't always work, but more often than not, after a few songs, she would calm down and fall asleep.

Check out their original of this song.
Air Supply was formed in 1975.
This song was released in 1980.
Lead singer, Russell Hancock, IMO, has one of the world's greatest pop rock voices and he still sounds wonderful as does Graham Russell.
Their greatest songs, including this one, include Lost In Love, Even The Nights Are Better, The One That You Love, Every Woman In The World, Here I Am, Sweet Dreams etc etc.
They have sold over 100 millions records worldwide.
    They are great.
    Thanks for sharing.

This is the acoustic version done long after the original, you can check out the video for that. For me they are mostly an 1980's band and their vocals were better when they were younger. When I grew up in the 1980's I didn't like ballads, or so I thought. It turned out that I just think ballads are extremely hard to do good and almost no one except Air supply can make good ballads. They are far superior to all other bands when it comes to ballads.

This was the must play slow dance song of my High School years. Now I’m a 58 year old melanin disadvantaged Canadian man who never married cuz I couldn’t find a girl as pretty, sweet and sassy/smart as you Miss Britt. Became a huge fan when you “got” Norm Macdonald and appreciated Gordon Lightfoot, not to mention Billy Joel and Steve Perry. Check out the official “The Warrior” video by Patty Smyth of the band Scandal, you will love her 80s look and energy. And keep your eyes open for a fifty something year old version of you…. for me! lol. I wish you much luck and love in your life young lady.

When I was in College, my dormmate was from Trinidad. He was trying to make money scalping Concert Tickets for Air Supply.
He didn't know that their music was soft rock, that was popular with women. So he was stuck with extra tickets. So us 5 guys went to the Concert. We were the only men at the Air Supply Concert surrounded by 10,000 women. Yes, the Concert was Great! and I think some panties dropped.

"Pretty" is a good way to describe Air Supply's music.
The song was released in 1980, when the singers were around 30. This is reacting to a much more recent performance.
