    No loud animated intro, very simple filiming, yet one of the best desk review I've watched on TH-cam. Thanks.

    Thanks for the video Kyle. I am planning to order the CPU holder. I only using a laptop, but wondering if I can use this to hold a RAID system or NAS disk array. I mean , does what goes in there need to be of a minimum height? BTW, I like seeing the PS4 on the desk. Are you able to connect it to a PC monitor?

    • @kylecornett1158
      @kylecornett1158  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could use this to hold a NAS but depending on the height of the NAS you might have some empty space. The cpu holder can only shrink down to about 12 inches.

    Hey Kyle. I appreciate the video greatly! In your opinion if budget wasn’t a thing would you purchase the uplift desk, or would you purchase a ergonofis desk?

    • @kylecornett1158
      @kylecornett1158  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I’m not familiar with ergonofis. I’ve now had this desk for almost a year and it’s been great. I’m happy with uplift.

    What is the size of that monitor?Thinking about buying this same size desk, trying to understand how well my monitors would fit. Thanks.

    Weird question - Can you tell me how much space there is between the edge of the desk and the outside edge of the legs? I'm thinking the 80" desk may provide more clearance where I have a floor register. The 72" appears to have the legs mounted on the edge of the desktop. Looks like the 80" has them inset a bit more.

    • @kylecornett1158
      @kylecornett1158  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry missed this. The legs on mine go in about 3 inches from the edge of the desk.

    I wish you talked more about the wobble. How's that been?

    • @kylecornett1158
      @kylecornett1158  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't experienced much issue with wobbling even at full height.

    Almost pulled the trigger, but still researching. I’m looking at this size as well. What size monitor is that ? I run dual 27s and and the MacBook Pro on that exact stand. I have another 27” monitor that is pretty heavy and I am worried about stability. You think adding a crossbar would help? I’m also on carpet in my office. Does it feel like it would tip backwards with too much weight on the back ?

    • @kylecornett1158
      @kylecornett1158  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using a 32 inch dell monitor. This thing is pretty sturdy even fully extended. The crossbar would probably add more stability. I doubt the weight of your monitors would cause an issue.

      You can get a hammock accessory which supports staggering weights so extra notepads and stuff would easily fit on this desk. I have it and its SUPER SOLID,.

    • @kylecornett1158

      No issues here. Doesn't slide or anything, too heavy.

    How sturdy is it when it is in standing mode?

    • @kylecornett1158
      @kylecornett1158  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s pretty sturdy. I’m 6’4 so I have it almost fully extended when standing and I don’t have any issues. Maybe a little wobble.

      @@kylecornett1158 At standing height with an 88-key keyboard/piano would the wobble interfere with playing then keyboard? Also, if you ordered again would you opt for the optional crossbar version?

    • @kylecornett1158
      @kylecornett1158  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@James-cn9no how heavy is the 88 key keyboard? I have an old korg N1 that probably weighs around 50 lbs or more. If I had that on top of the desk at full extension then there would probably be significant wobble. I would buy the cross bar if I had to choose again. I’ve heard it does help with stability.

      @@kylecornett1158 I ordered the two-leg T-style Uplift 80x30. Ordered yesterday and it delivered today! I have it set up now and I an happy to say it's going to work just fine.
      I have a 74-pound Kawai MP11SE on a rolling stand and the desk at 35" allows me to roll the keyboard under. At 35" the desktop surface is a tad high but my seat adjusts up so it works.
      I have another Nord Piano 5 with Nord Piano monitors. Combined about 45-lbs. At standing playing height of 40"-42" the desk is going to work fine. The wobble is so minimum. I am surprised, actually, Expected much more instability. Almost dropped twice as much money for the 4-leg commercial thinking the 2-leg would not be sturdy enough. I am happy to report it is much! more sturdy than I expected.
