That will make you a cool little truck to bang around in. The easiest way that I have found to check the toe in is to put a piece of tape on each tire in the same spot and mark it. Then measure that and roll the truck forward to bring the tape to the front and measure that. Then just see the difference of the measurements and you have your toe in or out. Good luck with it.
My first vehicle was a single cab Ranger reliable as all hell but good god was it scary on wet roads. Let an ex friend of mine drive it and he lost control trying to fool around and we slammed into a tree going about 30. You could take a full step into where the hood used to be. Had a riding mower in the bed that came a couple feet up into the cab. That little 3.0 was still running too, after collecting myself I had to walk back and turn it off. A scrapper got it and I believe the motor actually went into another Ranger.
