Update Saturn Security light fix FAILURE

Hello all ROb here. I always say I am Jack of all trades master of none. Well this fix for the 2002 Saturn L series Vats system security light blinking Fix was a FAILURE. I spliced the VAts system by the BCM and placed a solid OHM resistor in the middle of the black and yellow Vats system wires. This fix worked for 3 weeks. WHen I did the fix I DID NOT put the code in to unlock the factory stereo. Well 3 weeks later I decided to put the code in for the stereo and the problem returned. I could not believe it. I was so upset. The car ran fine until I unlocked the stereo. SO this fix was a bust and I am done attempting to trouble shoot it. Best of luck to you.

I have a 2001 LW200 my problem is a little different my security light flashes off and on but my fuel and temp gauges and dash lights also flash off and on the odometer doesn't work.
I have no codes showing no check or service engine light.
Unless it has it's own computer for the security I am getting a bad feeling it's the computer.

I am currently sitting in my 2000 saturn ls1 with a security issue problem. Not two weeks ago I removed the old and installed the new timing chain (that other saturn issue). Whats the security code for the radio? I have no owners manuel as it is a used vehicle that i bought. Any other suggestions to get this dick car started?

IGNITION WAS A RECALL GOT IT CHANGED AT GM AND STILL GIVES ME THIS SECURITY FLASHING LITE ON MY SATURN VUE

But only happens in very cold mornings and also marks the battery but the battery is not even that old
