  • I bought a $350 1990 Geo Storm and today we see it in it's current condition. As you can see it's pretty rough, join me as I go through and try to get it back on the road. The Geo Storm and Geo brand itself is a unique brand of tiny vehicles.
    I apologize as this is my first TH-cam video, sometimes I don't know wtf I'm saying. If there's a slight interest I will probably invest in better equipment. Leave a comment if something like this interests you and of course sub if you have a chance. Also, after I jacked up the vehicle I placed an old rim underneath the vehicle to secure it. Always make sure to be safe and use jack stands or whatever method is necessary.
    Let's take a look at what needs to be done and get her some new rims! Again, I apologize for the lack of equipment on this first video. Starting a YT channel has really been a dream of mine so why not. :)

    Wow I remember when these things were all over the place when I was a kid here in Miami. I'll never forget the last time I saw one. It was in May 2006 at a dealership in Fort Lauderdale called Gunther mawstah. Someone had just traded it in on a brand new Mazda 3. This one has probly the best looking body kit I have ever seen. I hope you can keep that little guy going and save him from the crusher. Unfortunately these little isuzu built cars were not very reliable So there's very few if any left. I was only 11 back in 1990 but I remember them well.

    I had a 90. Absolutely loved that car. Got over 40 miles to the gallon, turned on a dime. Worst electrical system ever made; the alternator burned out every few months and would leave me stranded. Didn’t take a eight point buck at 72 mph well. But the air bag worked great!

      That's odd, mine actually snapped the pulley off one night just outside Gainesville and I made it all the way to Ocala just fine with lights and radio blaring to keep me awake. I didn't know what had happened until the next morning when I could see. I even drove it 12 miles that day around town until I found an alternator at AutoZone. That car was a beast I wish I still had. Never left me in a pinch anywhere.

      @@louisinese I’m confused. Camaro, NSX, and then a Geo storm? Why the Storm? I mean, at least with me, the 2 door 4x4 5 speed Geo Tracker is actually really great off road, because it’s basically a Suzuki Sidetrack.

      @louisinese ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NothingButSilicone the geo tracker is great! Didn’t know what it was called a few months ago. I’d like to take it on a trip to the mountains. The regular geo is a guilty pleasure because of the customs I’ve seen. Z28 was the first and only car I got. It’s a dis functional sht box that can’t steer but it’s something about it. And the 90’s NSX is my end all sports car like how some ppl want a 458 when middle aged lol.

    The memories, my dad had one that was blue and this is back in 2004. When I was a kid I thought it was the coolest car then one day I left chocolate milk in the back seat, then it exploded and the car had a weird stink after that😂. He ended up letting it sit in the back yard till 2010 he took it to the scrap yard😫

    Had one way back when, absolutely loved that little shit box as my girlfriend used to call it lol, was painted grabber blue by previous owner, although I loved the color, the paint looked like it was sanded with a brick and painted with a mop haha, but I only paid 500$ for it, had 167,000 miles and when I sold it(wish I would have held onto it) it had 300,000 and was still going strong. These were great budget "sports" cars with lots of potential to be quite quick and would hold there own with the Hondas, and Toyotas etc of the era, my father's old 85 crx had a 12 valve 4 banger, as did my storm, very rev happy little power plant. You got a hell of a good deal paying only 350, these are getting harder and harder to come across, so I'd say you lucked up pretty damn good. 🍻😎

    I'm not to savvy with them motors, but it looks like a hose from your pcv is already going to your intake manifold. so you dont need the bung on that 90° elbow on your intake. You need an intake of fresh air to relieve crank case pressure. So you might need that little filter back on there.

    This and the Tracker used to be the "in" cars with the snippy girls between high school and college back in the day... Mommy and Daddy would buy it for them, and then the young bitches would run these cars into the ground through their stints in college, expecting something like a brand new Honda Accord (or VW Cabriolet) upon graduation... That's probably why you don't see too many on the road these days, and if you do, there's plenty of parts to be had from all the Storms sitting in the junkyards...
