- The car is doing pretty well having been able to drive all the way from Indiana to Mississippi with only basic maintenance. One other thing I will note contrary to popular belief with the Geo Metro I am actually able to hold 80 MPH comfortably on the highway at only 3000 RPM.
My modifications/upgrades as of the making of this video are as follows:
Fog lights- Sylvania slim 3 inch LED pod cube [I don't know the exact part number but I found mine at advance auto but you can also find it directly at www.sylvania-automotive.com ]
Tachometer- Equus 3 3/8 tachometer part # 6088 [This can be found at literally any auto parts store.]
Universal aluminum pedal covers- Type S part # AC58310 [You can find this at literally any auto parts store or online.]
1988- 2000 Honda Civic short shifter (SOME ALTERATION TO THE VEHICLE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EXACT PART TO FIT)- Honda Civic part # G1GXQP016712 [This can be found or anything from $10-$120 on eBay, Amazon, ect.]
Backup/reverse camera- I'm not sure if a part number even exists for the exact one I have but you can find it on Amazon or eBay for no more than $30.
PCV delete/breather filter- Spectre part # 3991[You can find this at literally any auto parts store.]
The custom front plate- You can make your very own custom plate on www.buildasign.com
As for everything else I may not be able to find or give an exact source. I know for a fact that the air filter isn't the OEM replacement but rather a universal circular air filter which does indeed provide far superior air flow. What I have in place of the muffler is literally just some 3 inch stainless steel piping that Bought from Advance Auto along with an adapter to connect it to the stock 2 inch piping. The steering wheel cover can be found at Walmart for about $10. The shift boot is literally just an old towel that I cut down to size and held in place by two hair bands. Lastly I have a rubber Teeball for the shift knob because the shift knob I had before was not compatible with the short shifter I installed.
good shit keep it up man. custom plate is hard as fuck.
ive been here since the bug videos man og fan
Thanks, I made the plate on www.buildasign.com I honestly thought I would make more content like that but now that I've gotten my life straight I don't really have the means nor materials to make those kinds of videos anymore. I will admit though before TH-cam took that channel down those videos were getting up to 1000 views a piece. It seems that outside of all of the people who actually know me in person you are actually the only one who really remembers what my old TH-cam carrier was all about. I kept the original channel logo simply because I just could not imagine it being anything else.
