John Deere STX30 Blade Belt PART # M41960 which is OEM John Deere, and alternative part # is A-A100K which you might find on the shelf at the big box stores.
This is GREAT! Thank you! I snapped my belt in wet grass. Got this machine from a car guy (painted it like a Hellcat!) He passed away at 80+ and I want to keep it, use it, and honor his legacy. This video is awesome and relieved my stress for figuring it out!!
I could not find any diagrams either and had to hire a small engine mechanic the first time for my belt. When it slipped again I found this video and it was very helpful. Thank you for posting and saving me $50!!
John deeres seem notorious for breaking springs and belts flying off also the rider pully goes out also we have to replace ours every year almost never fail lx380
I think M88184 is incorrect. M41960 makes more sense. The STX 30 deck is smaller than the STX 38. I took my belt off. It is 101 inches long with markings 4L-1020 6630 50.
I started my mower today and discovered the belt came off and had no clue how to put it back on. Your video saved me!

It's great mine is 1973.
I could not find a rectifier so I used one from a 90 horse outboard and it works

So that's showing up as a 60 inch belt? But other places are saying 105 inch?
