Thank you mate! Might start the build tonight when i get back from work... we'll see...But i need to finish one of the following TBH 1/18 Me262, 1/24 Mozzy or the Skyraider! :)
Thank you for this unboxing. still a shock about the canopy. For the packing Airfix trying to appease the no plastic mob but it not quite worked yet. I have seen a few detailed builds and am very impressed with the results, though way beyond my skills.
Took the clear parts out to refresh the memory. All have scuff marks along the length of the canopy 1.5 cm in a oval shape. The bags showed the signs of the contact. Experimented with the seamless canopy (X15) by rubbing the unaffected side against the plastic bag on the work table to the point the bag plastic was stretched and began to rip without a obvious change in the canopy clarity. Used a UStar fine polishing stick to remove what the eye could see. Scuff marks taken off without trouble but exposed three 1mm long deeper scratches that would require more effort to eliminate. The instructions state this oddly; 'It should be possible to polish out the seam line from X22.' Don't they know? Have they not tried it themselves? I have had one out of seventeen 1/32 Tamiya kit clear parts with a cracked canopy from the F-15E #60302 kit. Luckily the distributor for Canada was incredible and ordered the sprue from Tamiya Japan. The value for the money is outstanding. That Airfix has it made in Britain another bonus. Fun, rewarding and impressive out of the box model kit.
Perhaps this should have been a standalone video and not just a grab from a stream, I feel the quality suffers as a result and it is off-putting for the viewer with all those excessive titles, scrolling text, low res images and incredibly long intro before we get to the actual topic of the video. Check your analytics and see how many people are still watching past the intro - i would bet that most have switched off in the first 30 seconds. Also, your audio levels are unbalanced - first part is good but the stream part is so quiet I couldn't hear you at all Please take this as areas for improvement and I look forward to seeing your channel grow :)

I know quite a few people with this kit. All have reported scuff marks. Must be down to QC
Best kit I ever made !
