This game took me back to the days when I would play with my miniature Batman action figure and pit him against an army of toy foes of all shapes and sizes from stuffed bears to army men and have him defeat them all with his Batman awesomeness. This game is THAT fantasy that I lived out in my imagination as a child, playing this game is what I saw in my head. I can't describe how much fun it is to bring something like that to life as an adult and have it be exactly as you imagined. Rock on Rocksteady!
trajoan Mayberry actually arkham knight 9.5 my only problem with it was ridler and the ending arkham city was not perfect it had some problems I give it 9.8
Batman Arkham Asylum 9/10 Batman Arkham City 8.5/10 Batman Arkham Origins 7.5/10 Batman Arkham Knight Unplayable/10 I felt Asylum was more cohesive and well put together than City, so I liked it more even though it had less content. Origins was like City but buggier and with a worse story. Knight is unplayable on PC so I can't rate it.
I think so too!Skyrim has better story and more things to do but arkham city has better gameplay that can't become dull,especially if you play the challenge maps and it was more interesting exploring.Also,the game breaking glitches were annoying and destroyed my whole progress once!Finally,arkham city makes you feel like you are the batman which is more interesting in my opinion than what skyrim has to offer!

I would have gave this a 10. In a way, I'm glad I didn't get this on release. I didn't give this a second thought until I saw the GOTY Edition of Asylum and City last year in my local game store for $20 and I am so glad I got it. With all the DLC and the game itself, really is the best choice I have ever made. The attention to the tiniest details and the amount of easter eggs is a Batman fan's dream come true. Arkham Knight will be the ultimate, definitive Batman experience.
This and Spider-man 2 are the best superhero games ever made, in my opinion. Shame that these days it's almost impossible for good superhero games to surface, seeing as most of them are in a rush to meet up with their movie counterparts. It's pretty disgusting. Honestly, Rocksteady should just go ahead and take over superhero games in general.

I had fun collecting all the available trophies on the way, when you know where they are and you collect as many as possible, it gives you more experience which in turn gives you all new moves to diversify the main game. Off topic, I am not a fan of Batman, but this game is probably my pick of Game of The year! I couldn't ever be bothered to play Arkham Asylum though, may give it another shot one day.

Best in the series by far. Everything about it was amazing. The whole demon trials and wonder city part of the story was the best. I'll rank the games wtb 4.arkham knight: amazing game best combat in the series but the story and characters were lacking depth. Biggest map yet but terrible bosses such as deathstroke and two face 3.arkham asylum: this games story was really fun and walking through the empty halls of arkham asylum was super fun. I loved the easter eggs in this game and whilst the bosses were terrible, the jumpscares and combat were great. I felt that there wasn't much to do and being stuck on arkham island was a bit boring. The game got to repetitive also 2.arkham origins: strong story amazing villains and a big map were some of the greatest things about this game. I absolutely loved the twist and I loved the jokers depth and being able to play as him in the main story. Bane and joker were my favourite things about this game and the boss fights were the best in the series. The fact that it took me an hour to defeat deathstroke(my favourite boss) justifies that. The only oroblems were that the game had too many bugs, villains such as deadshot and shiva weren't in the game and the assassins lacked depth. 1.arkham city:loved the story couldn't stop playing it and I loved the complexity and the fact that villains rook their territory and had gang wars. The main plot and sideplot were spectacular and I loved that they intertwined and the voice acting was amazing too. My favourite thing about this game was the demon trials and wonder city. I just feel it is, it is a very fresh change, it totally filled my Desmond modern gameplay craving. I felt I connected to Connor more than Ezio/Altair, it is the longest and most fulfilling in the series, it is the most technically impressive game I have ever played and has the most engaging and immersible story. I was amazed with AC3, and I had extremely high expectations. THAT is saying something in my book, and it earns it's place as best in series and one of the best games I've ever played.
I think this was one of the best games i've ever played. I got the remastered version with all dlc's for Chanukah and I'm glad I can beat it again for like the tenth time.
For all those people who think the combat is boring, try saying batman's punchlines while fighting like 'because i'm batman' Makes the experience much more immersive lol
Best game ever. I judge a games greatness by how playable it is two years down the road and I still play this game all the time and enjoy it just as much as I did when it came out.
I wouldn't mind picking them up along the way, but I'd never go out of my way to get the ones I'd missed. As for Asylum, by the end of it I was getting really tired of it. It overstays its welcome, giving you the same combat system from the first encounter all the way through the final boss, and running back and forth through Arkham's not-so-open world gets old halfway through. Wouldn't play it again, but even so I'm still considering playing through Arkham City, it looks like a big improvement.

I would be a bit biased on this since I grew up with MGS, but it's definitely worth every penny put towards it. However, some advice, I'd play it based on when they came out, since the control schemes got better with each release, it would feel weird to play MGS 1 after playing MGS 2 or 3.
I would say the game is a solid 10, I am not a huge fan of Batman but the game was covered in so much lore and variety of gameplay. I love every minute of the game and the proper dlc of playing as Robin, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman was icing on the cake. The voice acting was superb and truly shows how to make a dark and adult game stay within the T Rating. A astonishing game for Batman fans and gamers alike.
yea. if you like action adventure/stealth games. alot of thing to see and do in arkham city. there are some story elements that refer back to arkham asylum but its nothing that major. the first game is very metroid style while arkham city is more open world. i recommend getting both
Kevin Conroy really is the voice of Batman, much as Mark Hamill is the voice of Joker. Then you throw Rocksteady Games in the mix. And then you realise why the Arkham Asylum and City games were so amazing. Bought both games yet again. Heard City will be a b***h to plat though lol.

Love this game. I can't say which is my favourite out of the 3 because they're all amazing. But I cleared through this like at least 10 times.
There is one you just can't find it through the search bar in TH-cam, you have to go onto their channel and look at their recent uploads.
You know IGN, I hope you will give: Batman Arkham Knight a 10 for your review.
It deserves a 10 imo
I wouldn't mind picking them up along the way, but I'd never go out of my way to get the ones I'd missed.
As for Asylum, by the end of it I was getting really tired of it. It overstays its welcome, giving you the same combat system from the first encounter all the way through the final boss, and running back and forth through Arkham's not-so-open world gets old halfway through. Wouldn't play it again, but even so I'm still considering playing through Arkham City, it looks like a big improvement.
Do you think they will make a game of the year edition for arkham origins?
this game is something special, best super hero game of all time, just superb atmosphere, story, gameplay, sound and level design, Arkham City is bliss

I would be a bit biased on this since I grew up with MGS, but it's definitely worth every penny put towards it. However, some advice, I'd play it based on when they came out, since the control schemes got better with each release, it would feel weird to play MGS 1 after playing MGS 2 or 3.

I remember hearing alot about this game, and I never got it until a few months ago. I think it's time to replay it. It was fantastic.
I would say the game is a solid 10, I am not a huge fan of Batman but the game was covered in so much lore and variety of gameplay. I love every minute of the game and the proper dlc of playing as Robin, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman was icing on the cake. The voice acting was superb and truly shows how to make a dark and adult game stay within the T Rating. A astonishing game for Batman fans and gamers alike.
Oh my God they still have a dumb reason to not give the game a 10/10.

yea. if you like action adventure/stealth games. alot of thing to see and do in arkham city. there are some story elements that refer back to arkham asylum but its nothing that major. the first game is very metroid style while arkham city is more open world. i recommend getting both
So I just got a PS3 after 5 years, and I got this game at the same time. I have never been a super hero fan, but I am in love with this game now

Kevin Conroy really is the voice of Batman, much as Mark Hamill is the voice of Joker. Then you throw Rocksteady Games in the mix.
And then you realise why the Arkham Asylum and City games were so amazing.
Bought both games yet again. Heard City will be a b***h to plat though lol.

A bitch to plat. Basically its a difficult game to get all the trophies which eventually will unlock the platinum for you. This is a feature for the Playstation 3.
