At first my doctors thought it was gluten also but I tested negative twice for celiac. Wheat sensitive is different than gluten sensitive, please avoid tunnel vision on gluten. There are many other aspects of wheat. It took 23 years but I finally learned it was because of something not done in Europe. North American wheat products are "fortified" or "enriched" with cheap garbage b vitamins which messes with methylation in half of humanity, as per strong epigenetics dna science of recent decades. Synthetic b vitamins cause so much trouble w dna methylation and creates autoimmunity inflammatory response, low energy, high sugar cravings and more. Resolving this one issue by avoiding North American wheat products and instead eating active form b vitamins is literally life changing for the better. ♡

    • @cornypinkuni9519
      @cornypinkuni9519 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

Folic acid (synthetic) is NOT the same as folate (active form b9). Folic acid (synthetic) is why so many pregnant women end up with gallstones and need gallbladder surgery. DNA methylation issues directly cause inflammation. This is known science and the north american system is corrupt. B vitamin tests arent even in standard bloodwork and only tested for as an aside, yet 30-50% of people are affected by this. Can't fight chemistry. Read the science behind mthfr genes and remember folic acid is fake, folate is real and the body knows one is problematic the other isnt.

#1 Trans fats (margarine and shortening). Often not shown on labels.
#2 Emulsifiers, polysorbate 20 or 80 (Pudding cups, shelf stable cakes). Causes leaky gut by “bursting cells in the gut lining”.
#3 Soybean oil (shelf stable tomato sauce, marinara). Increases liver markers and fat mass causing metabolic issues. Goes rancid very fast.
#4 High fructose corn syrup (regular soda). So many other options. It’s a chemically adulterated syrup that affects brain function. Can be seen with a blood/glucose monitor.
#5 Red dye #40 (froot loops). Cause ADHD and energy/mood problems especially in children.
#6 Regular mayonnaise. Pure nasty soybean oil. Slimy calorie bomb.
#7 Doritos. Cocktail of bad stuff including MSG and rancid oils.
#8 Gluten. Cause aches in joints and brain fog in the states, not so much in Europe.
*You have to be your own Guinea pig. Pay attention to what foods don’t feel right.

I personally don't have an issue with gluten (I've done Whole 30 countless times and never had an issue reincorporating wheat products after the 30 days). *HOWEVER*, I do have a real issue with how wheat can be harvested in the United States, specifically with using glyphosate during harvesting. And I'm not trying to fear monger but I've battled lymphoma and while I'm not saying glyphosates were definitively responsible for my cancer, why add that layer of risk. There are brands widely available that are certified organic and GMO free (including not using wheat treated with glyphosate). Dave's Killer Bread and Ezekiel Bread are two examples (plus I love Dave's practice of hiring former prisoners). I also love sour dough but it's hard to know what kind of flour the corner shop is using. Fortunately, King Author's organic flour is glyphosate free.

I believe margarine and partially-hydrogenated cooking oils are the cause of the American health decline. I’m an elderly caregiver and the difference in my 90+ year old clients and my 70+ and early 80 year old clients is remarkable! These foods were introduced after WWII and were a prominent part of children’s diets that were born in the mid-late 40’s and beyond.

No, they were introduced before WWI. Cotton farmers had piles of cotton seed after processing the cotton. The hired some engineers to find something to make out of it as an extra income stream. They crushed the seed and extracted the "cotton seed oil"
What they had come up with was pretty much Crisco and then they had to figure out what it could be used for.
They got the idea to dye it yellow and make a substitute for butter but that presented another problem, how to market it?
Someone heard about this tiny organization in its' infancy; The American Heart association. They approached the Heart association and offered to pay them to endorse their goo as being healthier than butter. The Heart Association said "we like money, OK"
These medical associations are for the most part all the same. If you give them money, they will endorse your product no matter how bad it is. The diabetes association endorses all kinds of breads and other carbohydrates that no diabetic should ever eat, and why? Why for the money of course, silly!

The fact that Thomas eliminated these foods after years of consumption and is in his now excellent state of health shows that there is hope for anybody who thinks they are trapped in our culture’s processed food MATRIX. I read that the modern practice for harvesting wheat is to take the short variety (much bigger yield, but a number of novel forms of gluten) and then they spray it with glyphosate so they kill it just before harvest. Easier to harvest that way, but totally contaminated with glyphosate, which can ruin the microbiome in short order. The only way I can think of to see if it is any member of the wheat family causing the trouble, or only the new forms of wheat and the glyphosate, would be to grow early forms of wheat such as kamut or spelt oneself, harvest and thresh it, grind it (Champion Juicer can do that) and bake with it.

Great list. My son, when he was young, was terribly allergic to red dye 40. He would have 45-minute-long explosive tantrums until we discovered his allergy. Cutting the dye eliminated the tantrums (well, at least their duration and intensity). Secondly, a great argument for eliminating gluten is that doing so will greatly alleviate arthritis pain. And lastly, I've tried the different brands of mayonnaise that use avocado oil or olive oil in place of seed oils, and they taste acceptable to me, but not all that good. Sorry, but none can even compare with the taste of Hellman's.

Thanks, Thomas. I have not had ANY of the foods you mention since I was about 15 years old. I'm 74 now and from the time I was 15 to now, I have not had any health issues at all, not even a cold or headache. I also don't have "a potato chip now and then" as you mentioned. I really enjoy health foods and the ketogenic diet, which I started years and years ago before it became really popular. I tried the carnivore diet but it constipated me so much that I had to stop it. That was the only foray away from my keto diet in many, many years. My health is so good that I don't even have health insurance. In fact, I've never had health insurance in my life and I've never needed it. Even if I did need it I would not have it because I've done the math (along with the help of a friend who is a health insurance actuary)/ The numbers say it would cost me less to pay outright for hospitalization or doctor's visit/health care costs than it would to pay health care premiums every month.. I guess you could say I'm pretty much free of the medical industrial complex propaganda.

Seed oils contain high levels of the long chain fatty acid, linoleic acid, which gets absorbed by the brain and is linked to cognitive decline. Glucose and ketones can be fine as brain fuel but linoleic acid has much bigger molecules causing much more oxidative stress. The natural antioxidant defences in your body can easily handle a small amount of oxidative stress but there is a limit.

There’s another component to the gluten issue (beyond glyphosate used for harvesting) in that people usually consume it via bread products.
Read the ingredient labels on any commercial bakery items - breads, bagels, donuts, pancake mix, cakes, cookies, crackers - the flour used will be full of additives: emulsifiers, dough conditioners, dough extenders, dough enrichers, occasionally colorants, and preservatives.
(I first noticed this when trying to replicate a local bread in Italy, and read the label: flour, yeast and salt. Three items! I began l looking at bread labels back in the States, and they have 15-25 ingredients.)
It may be the gluten, the residual glyphosate, or any number of commonly used additives.🤷‍♀️

Here's the dirtiest secret. Flour and bread companies add twice as much gluten in flour and processed breads than what's naturally in a wheat berry. It's also a lie that wheat in the USA is genetically modified. They can't do that because of the regulations other countries have and USA wheat is imported all over the world. Note that organic wheat berries that's cooked immediately after being milled is nutritious rarely cause sensitivity in 99 percent of people because it doesn't have the loads of gluten that's in processed. Another factor is a wheat berry will go rancid within 3 days. So remember all that processed bread and flour is rancid! Once the kernel of wheat is broken open, however, as in milling, the protection of the bran is gone and many of these nutrients, now exposed to oxygen, are lost by oxidation. In fact, once milled, as much as 45% of the nutrients are oxidized, in the first day alone. In 3 days, just 72 hours later, 90% of the nutrients are lost, all to oxidation alone and none to the sifting of the bran and germ. Since I now freshly mill my own wheat before making bread or cooking with it, my gluten sensitivity went away.

I have been doing an experiment with gluten the past 3 weeks. Lately i have been very bloated and gassy(latter has always been a factor). I stopped gluten 3 weeks ago and have rarely been bloated and hardly gassy. I cant say its for certain the gluten but it was a huge portion of my daily diet and its hard to explain that away. That said, if im gonna have a cheat meal(pizza) i want the real deal, some gf options are just no good.
