Good stuff and thanks for the shoutout, one more tip is to blow out and wipe out the wheels/mirror with a micro fiber cloth after every few scans. Kind of tedious but also produces better scans with minimal lines.
J Mac!! I've seen your videos!!!! Actually used your link to buy my Epson. Appreciate the additional insight. I've wiped the wheels but I don't think I've touched the mirrors, so will take a look at that. Eventually want to work my way to the Fujitsu, but many more miles to go on the Epson:). Trying to figure out some details with how to implement templates and keep everything organized once I scan them. I don't use CDP I just scan and list 1-by-1 but it doesn't take long using the "Sell One Like This" feature on Ebay...planning on doing a separate video on my entire listing process from start to finish. I have a glimpse of how I organize my cards in this video...th-cam.com/video/w0RxKrAGIgw/w-d-xo.html. Will be moving soon so will have a little better set up. Yeah I’m having the same problem. Some cards are still pretty good - and shifting it around different ways in the feeder helps me get a good enough image for eBay. The darker ones - like the football refractor type cards are the hardest because you can see all the lines. It’s still a good enough use for me at the moment. Would love to get a Fujitsu and see how that one works but the price is much higher. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video! Can you leave a link for your penny sleeves. I’m having a hard time scanning anything in a penny sleeve. It always errors out. Plus I’m curious why you left the wheels in JMac advised us to remove it.
These are the ones I used this time around 1200 Counts Card Sleeves Toploaders for Trading Card, Soft Clear Card Protective Sleeves Deck Card Protectors Fit for Baseball Cards, Sports Cards, MTG, Yugioh Card Game Card Standard Cards a.co/d/8a4JnBH. Not super attached to them but they work good. I also took the wheel out of this one. Thanks for watching!

Have this scanner. Worked perfectly at the beginning but the white streaks are getting worse and worse even after cleaning.

How do you get the scanner to stop detecting double feed
There’s an option in settings to turn off the “detect double feed” feature.

There’s also some settings you need to tweak…j macs video in the descriptions talks about those…that may help. Happy selling!
