      Use center stage its what i do it shows last sells and if its blue u can click it and it takes you to the listing and hit sell one like this take ur pics and save as draft then i go to my pc copy title and open a new window paste the title and get my comps put my price and bam list i do 50 cards in a hr perk if u have 2 monitors on ur pc cards that dont pop up on center stage i put to the side and manually search later

      There is no way to list fast there. Horrible format and system. You just have to stumble through it every single time. I wish they would get some real live management who care about their sellers. They do not care.

    Templates were a huge time saver when I started using them. I also find that using a computer/laptop to list is a lot quicker than using a phone. I can list 10 cards in about 15 minutes. I also like to use a scanner to scan my cards. I do the batch method and I can scan 6 cards at a time and they're instantly uploaded to my laptop, and they look much more professional. I'll usually spend about an hour or two on the weekend and just scan a bunch of cards and crop them as needed, then I'll just list them throughout the week when I have free time. Scanning doesn't work well for shiny cards like silver prizms or holo's though.

      How do you think card breakers list their player breaks on eBay if there are 100 players being auctioned? They just list the same auction and switch out the names 100 times?

    For multiple players from the same set use list multiple tool. Create one listing completed and copy it. All you need to do is add photos and the player name. I can list 100/hr.

    Definitely faster to take all photos first. Use a light box and afix your phone/camera. The fewer the motions the faster you get. Also organize cards by sets or players equals fewer changes in item specifics. I have also experimented with bulking by price. Little thought early saves tons of time. I can now do 100 listing per hour under best conditions and no worse than 60.

    my favorite method is going to be long winded but here we go:
    -1st thing is to find all the cards i want to list in my current session (anywhere between 1 to 25 cards) and i make sure not to make batches of larger than 25 cards at a time so i don't completely overload my brain with taking pictures and listing them.
    -2nd is to take them out of their toploaders/one touch/card savers but keep them in their penny sleeve and stack them to the side
    -3rd is to turn on my desk lamp, turn off my main room light and close the curtains, turn on my little photo light box that i bought on amazon, set up my phone on my tripod, and connect my clicker to my phone so i can remotely take the picture without touching my phone
    -4th is to (one by one) remove the card from its sleeve, wipe it down with a microfiber, set the raw card gently on a card stand in the light box, turn off my desk lamp, and take pictures of the front and back while focusing my camera in between shots
    -5th is where i turn my lamp back on, take the card down, put it into a brand new sleeve and set in my "finished" drawer where i keep a small mouse pad so it's not sitting directly on hard wood.
    then i just repeat the process from step 4 until i either finish the amount of cards i set aside or until i finish the stack of 25
    this is where i start doing the research process (but on my PC) and find all the prices and what i want to list the card for (whether it's buy it now or auction). i keep a spreadsheet so i don't forget the values
    once i'm done researching on my PC, i go back to my phone and start turbo listing (keeping important notes on my phone like you do)
    believe it or not i can do 25 cards with this method in about 1hr 20 minutes once i find the cards that i want to list and take them out of their respective cases, that's a little over 3 minutes per card from pictures to finished listing
    like you said, once you get in a groove, it becomes easier. this is what works for me but i know it sure doesn't work for everyone. i had fun sharing my process even if nobody ever reads it lol

    • @FootballCardQuest
      @FootballCardQuest  ปีที่แล้ว

    • @millville444
      @millville444 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jessicaschreiber honestly there isn't a true secret to how to turbo list. you get on a roll after about 5-10 cards and it becomes easier when checking the values on the spreadsheet. it can be tedious but just make sure to power through it

  • @justinventory2781

    The only thing I’ve found to be an issue with setting the draft with intentions to place or even take photos from inside the listing later is that the listing will auto default to a different price than what you set initially. I just write the prices down on a post it in order of each draft as back up for when this happens. Minor inconveniences of eBay listing.

      Ya, I question this method as well. Sure you put the disclaimer, “card does not ship in one touch.” Technically not wrong, but a bit misleading. A photo without the one touch is already taken. So, why include one with one touch when it won’t be included? Save yourself the “you have to read the fine print” conversation with the customer.

    I usually just use one of my previously sold cards that were from the same year/set, and instant template. Just have to change minor details like team/player name etc. I'm looking to try to sell a bunch of cards, but don't know how to set up a lot of them without spending hours doing it lol. Most I've had on ebay at one time is 9 listings (all ranged from $20 to 600). Now looking to sell cheapo cards for 2.00+, but not spend 20 minutes listing each. 🤣

    Usually anything under $20 I just throw them away. Waste of time at the end for me. Yes I’m missing money but the time it takes to do that isn’t worth the shipping, the hopes they leave good feedback, the time etc. I like this system though so I might do this and see how it goes

      If you buy some boxes off eBay, I’m pretty sure you could just pull a few receipts and deduct that from the sales. Considering the prices on these boxes, it would likely chop those sales down to a small taxable. Not to mention postage and other expenses. If you make all your purchases through eBay, it should be easy to pull receipts.

    • @JonahsWail
      @JonahsWail 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Edit - just read up on this stuff. Of course I should’ve known the irs was already on top of the card bubble. That’s some bs. The main issue is trying to present your card hobby as a business, which if it’s designed to take losses non stop from card purchases then the irs isn’t gonna let that slide as a business.
      But anyway, if you go all out selling cards you could still post it as a business. Paying for an eBay store should def help.
