1:20 "Esspapier" = edible paper, a thin wafer, sweetened and flavored. A bit old fashioned sweet for children, nowadays rather rare to find in most shops.
2:50 Trolli is one of the competitors of Haribo and Katjes, the products are mostly sold a bit cheaper than those of the two market leaders. (Founded in 1948 as noodle manufacturer Wilmed, soon switching to sweets, since 1975 using the brand Trolli. Currently with subsidiaries in Germany, Czechia, Spain, Indonesia and China; the US subsidiary was sold in 1997.)
4:00 Spekulatius is a traditional St Nicholas / Christmas cookie, made from shortcrust biscuit, spiced with pepper, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom and nutmeg. Its name refers to being moulded into certain traditional forms showing e.g. images of religious motives or (to 18th century Europeans) exotic animals and scenes or also images of Dutch windmills and ships - the origin is probably in the Belgium/Netherlands/Westphalia region. In Frisia it is sometimes served to tea.
5:10 Bahlsen, founded in 1889 as "Hannoversche Cakesfabrik H. Bahlsen", introduced in 1891 the "Butterkeks" plain butter biscuit, branded after the famous philosopher and mathematician Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646 - 1716) from Hannover. The brand was very successful and shaped the word "Keks" for those kind of cookies, but it is rather bland.
5:50 Not a sweet, but crisp bread in the Scandinavian style. "Knäckebrot" is actually a loanword from Swedish "knäckebröd".
6:15 The brand "Merci" is produced by August Storck KG, a confectionary producer in Berlin (other products: Campino drops, Knoppers wafer candy bars, Toffifee caramel candies with hazelnuts , Werther's cream caramels, Riesen chocolate-flavored chewy caramels, Dickmann's chocolate-coated marshmallow treats - also known as Schokokuss = chocolate kiss, ...). The collection "Helferherz" translates to "helper's heart" and is meant to be bought as present for someone helpful.
8:45 Ritter Sport is one of the big chocolate brands in Germany. The flavor "Rum-Trauben-Nuss" is made with "Sultana" raisins (from white seedless grapes) soaked in Rum.
9:05 Kinder is a trademark of Italian confectioner Ferrero. The German word "Kinder" translates to "children".
10:10 Milka was originally a brand of Swiss Chocolat Suchard (the name is a contraction of "milk" and "cacao"), which merged in 1970 with Chocolat Tobler as Interfood AG, which was then bought by Klaus Jacobs, who had inherited the Bremen coffee trader Joh. Jacobs + Co. In 1990 Jacobs Suchard was sold to Philip Morris and is now part of Mondelez International (formerly Kraft Foods). The coffee trader company is nowadays part of Jacobs Douwe Egberts Peet’s in Amsterdam. Milka chocolate is nowadays produced in Lörrach (southwestern Germany), Bludenz (western Austria) and Swoge (Bulgaria); the quality of the product has imho decreased significantly since it belongs to Mondelez.

"Gewürzspekulatius" is actually a typical Christmas candy, but some stores have it in the shelves by late August. And it's actually not expensive at all, at Aldi's a 600g pack can be less than €1.50.
THere is also "Butterspekulatius" (from buttery dough") And "Mandelspekulatius" (with almonds), which are a little more expensive.

The blue thin stuff is called eating paper, it is pretty much the same, what you get in catholic church, but with different aromas, also some christmas cookies like Kokosmakronen, ues the same.
The Esspapier itself was always too bland for my taste.

I think that Ritter Sport is more like real chocolate and generally tastes better and more intense, including the additional flavor from the fillings or additions. I've been buying these or other brands for ages, or good (unknown) brands that discounters have, for example, own brands, no names in that sense, but I've bought special brands that only the respective discounters sell, but I don't have any direct comparison to THIS variety. The slightly more premium brand Lindt is probably not worth the price either, as I heard, not bad, but not worth the significantly higher price and different varieties, but almost each one is supposed to be the same as the other, so there is probably no basic 'recipe' Variations.
Switzerland is known for good chocolate, there is also fine chocolate that is priced well above Lindt. What we know is Toblerone, which is also very firm and has thicker pieces that you can bite off or break off. A good chocolate must have a crack when you break or bite into it, of course, the less cocoa, the more milk, etc. the softer, but there are still differences. When it comes to rum, nuts and raisins, it tends to have less Kakao, you can see it, you can taste it, but the rum aroma comes through more and clearly. At least Ritter uses real rum for this, not just flavoring. Of course not much, as far as I remember 2 percent, you can read about it in the description, but it comes through intensively, you can taste it clearly and so other mixtures and fillings still have 'real' ingredients. I already mentioned it in another video, the Olympia variety with honey and glucose (Mh, is the automatic Translation wright or wrong? In german: Traubenzucker) and what else. If they were still available when there was an offer, they would pile up again, unfortunately the discounter didn't have it (anymore), it was there when it was young, then it wasn't for a long time and was only remembered again when it was offered again , which should actually be part of the permanent range and no one else has anything like it.
At Ritter, which was also mentioned recently, there was a new class of nuts, which was a little more expensive, with cashews, roasted almonds or almonds, but there was also a variety and in the beginning even macadamia, before the expensive, well-known nuts and Each nut class cost the same, of course there is a mixed calculation, then nuts (even the cheap peanuts that I often eat became more and more expensive, at shorter intervals...), in any case the Macadamia variety was no longer offered, then there were three Varieties with a higher chocolate content, from three regions, each with a different cocoa content, but each well over 50 percent and surprisingly, a variety with less cocoa tasted more like chocolate, like one with more cocoa, you can see that the region or variety or soil or..., I don't know, maybe they were harvested later and therefore more ripe, or the cocoa beans were roasted differently... but all two types are delicious, I haven't tried the third one yet. I also saved a few bars and bought them when they were cheaper, but chocolate doesn't last forever, but I only bought individual bars and only had at most 2 of the other kind left.
Of course, if you want a softer variety that tastes more like milk than cocoa, just buy Milka or whatever you prefer. I also like dark chocolate, which is healthier and contains only a little sugar, is also drier, can be stored longer, doesn't melt away when it's warm, is healthier AND could even help you lose weight, because on the one hand it's so intense and you're eating an 85 percent chocolate bar Simply not that much and that's clear, since there is only 15 percent left, so not that much sugar can 'fit in', then a feeling of satiety quickly arises. Completely different to other chocolate, but I don't want to miss the different types. Sometimes you eat a little more for a while, sometimes not at all for a while, but since chocolate shortbread cookies and other products with chocolate and/or sugar add up, you don't need anything else.
Addition: Ok, I didn't understand the text correctly, it was only about the FORM, not the taste. I can understand that.
The unusual shape of Toblerone and the fact that it is quite solid chocolate and difficult to break apart is certainly not for everyone, but this also gives it a unique selling point that no other chocolate has and the shape is probably slightly different today than it used to be , where it's a little lighter, but it's been a long time since I've eaten it myself.
There are varieties that were unknown to me, including two vegan varieties and ONE in particular surprised me very much in terms of taste and, on the positive side, it was also organic.
Ordered online, from dealers who sell goods that sell remaining stock and are close to or past their best before date, i.e. can no longer be sold in stores.
You read and tasted, they really pay attention to quality, with real, good ingredients and had a very unique taste, even with a bit of fruit, the paper packaging was made of recycled paper and underneath the chocolate was sealed/sealed in foil, which was not plastic was, but biodegradable and then the chocolate itself, that's what matters.
Checked again, it's from Veganz and sort:
      Coconut Fruity Quinoa.
Instead of beet sugar it contains:
coconut blossom sugar, coconut milk powder; Cocoa butter, desiccated coconut, Maltodextrin, freeze-dried raspberries (small pieces of course), puffed quinoa and real vanilla. The other chocolate I ordered later was pure dark chocolate, not bad either.

@@SakuraMorandi Paid? It would be nice :).
Well, I just have the comparison from before and it was immediately clear to me that I wouldn't buy them anymore and that I probably had them as a child, but I don't remember them that well.
Actually, I write a lot every day, but since YT has deleted or banned most of my work in the area of education, it's gotten worse and worse, you can only include longer texts, at best in the entertainment area, even that doesn't always work. If it's things that are not like in the mainstream and politics, YT doesn't like that at all. Especially not if you mention evidence and facts, let alone link to them. Even if it's just clips from YT that haven't been deleted yet, but since a lot of channels and videos have disappeared anyway and almost nothing goes through on YT anymore... it actually got worse with the comments, nothing works anymore. At best, only very superficial and irrelevant, soft criticism is still possible from time to time. No substance, no real value for other users, so no chance. That's why I've already sent emails to many people.
      Greeting
